Warren, Kaine… oy! I’d ask “where does it end” but I’m afraid to get the answer to that.

I’ll have to ask some of my guy friends who folded and voted for Obie and thought he’d be so great what they think of him now — I haven’t dared to inquire since these last two “picks” of his. Guess I was giving ‘em all a break for the Christmas holidays — but now that we are approaching the inauguration — I think I’ll ask around.

He’s opposed to CIVIL UNIONS. that’s how you know that Kaine is so extreme in his views. Maybe you could defend his being for the sanctity of marriage and support of DOMA, but being against civil unions? Can’t defend that.

I think Obama is the biggest closeted homophobe around and now I’m really really starting to wonder why. I doubt these “reaching across the aisle” affiliations are supposed to offset his radical reframing of the army.

Believe me, DanNY, it PAINED me to have to click through to them, I am not kidding. I hated giving them the traffic even. BUT - after the way those sites in particular have treated those of us who did not scrape and bow for Obama, it is just too rich to see the machinations they are going through now. Bush II finished off the Republican Party by taking it so far right. Obama will finish off the Democratic Party by taking it so far right. What is ironic is that the PEBO has had so many connections with the Socialist and Communist Parties, maybe he’s trying to atone for those by being subservient to the far right. As Larry Johnson wrote in one of his articles during the primaries, the PEBO has no core principles or values. He will swing whichever way the money/power winds blow.

Maybe he’s trying very hard to demolish any idea that anyone would have that he was once affiliated with the far-left fringes–like a reformed alcoholic preaching about the sins of alcohol.
