I got my lesson in the whole matter. The democrats of Illinois, along with Harry Reid, think they can do whatever they want, breaking the law like drinking water, as long as they have some sort of news media lynching rope going.
I would remind the elite above the law slapped down playas, that one accusation of coverup up and discreet crime, does not give open book play on an assortment of follow on crimes, carried out and promoted in full view of the public.
I guess they got ahead of themselves and forgot that since Blagogevich was under the gun, they couldn’t start breaking the law left and right and just blame it all on Blago.
I must say it was extremely enjoyable watching the SLAPDOWN occur so quickly.
Nonetheless, it gave me keen insight into just how little these arrogant know it all powerheads actually think about what is written down as law. How easily they very conveniently forget all about rule of law, and go with their “gut” and their own agenda, as long as they figure the news and public fingers are pointing at something else. (Blago in this case).
I shudder to think what other massive crimes they commit behind the scenes, as they collude and excuse themselves, telling eachother how they must act (outside the bounds of the law of course) in order to “correct the wrong that others have committed” – wether or not anything as silly as convicted in a court of law first ever enters into any of it.
I’d say the newspaper and media people are licking their lips and salivating, noticing how easily some bad press can lead a whole swarm of the polits astray, in full view of the public.
I thought it was astounding when Quinn stood up and demanded that Blago follow the wishes of Obama on the senate seat, the guy who abused that very senate seat to run for potus, then threw it away when he no longer wanted to collect the paycheck for doing nearly nothing – all in the heat of Quinn’s boss being accused of playing games with that very senate seat.
I wonder how Quinn didn’t look in the mirror that evening and say to himself ” I’m a complete moron. Nowhere else in the entire world does the quitter of any job get to tell their former and also the current boss, what they can do about replacing them. ”
This has been a real eye opener.
NO elite power hungry insane politicians, you don’t get to just fall all over eachother breaking the law
openly because someone else has been accused of something. Sheesh !

I also like the karmic significance that they are women – since BO is so in love with the father who wanted nothing to do with him, and doesn’t show much affection for his grandmother who actually raised him, or the mother who raised him for – what – maybe 8 years.

I bet in a way that it’s satisfying for these Chicago reporters that Obama ~~cheated~~ won the election. There were 2 or 3 Chicago reporters who were trying to get the word out about Obama, and the MSM outside of Chicago wouldn’t pick it up. Maybe now people will listen to them and appreciate their historical knowledge of Obama.
