[Update] “The Train Is A’Comin’” Wide Open Thread

NEWS UPDATE:Israel Declares Cease-Fire; Hamas Says It Will Fight On.”

UPDATE: While we can have a good time, we can make fun of some of the media, and we can express our feelings, as so many of us did today, it is notable that everyone who participated in this thread was mature and rational. Thank you all. You are FREE HERE to criticize and express your real feelings, as all of you did today. That’s because you’re grown-ups and you find racism, sexism, homophobia and other wholesale attacks on groups of people to be repugnant. We encountered a couple people today, in other threads, who used hideous language, and they’ve been banned. If you see ANY such comments, please report them immediately to susanunpc at gmail dot com and/or larry_johnson at earthlink dot net . We will take care of those comments immediately, or as soon as we can. Thank you. And I hope you’re all having a great Saturday night. - Susan

Some people are wearing pajamas. And one lady is going to hold up the train! I hope the Secret Service knows before the train arrives. (From CNN.) I wouldn’t walk across the street, but if these people think it’s sensible to be out there freezing in 22-degrees-and-dropping weather, who am I to tell them to get some C.S., as my mama would have said.

The update is at the end — It’s from a clearly cranky and cold Candy Crowley.
…………..

Holy cow!

I do hope you’re watching CNN. The train is approaching! Wolf Blitzer AND Anderson Cooper AND Donna Brazile are ALL ON! This is a big deal! They’re describing the train route! it’s thrilling.

OH MY GOD!!!! I just turned to look at the TV, because when i wrote the paragraph above, I was only listening since the TV is behind my desk (which is a good thing).

These fools are all sitting outside swathed in huge layers of clothing that makes them all look like fat giants.

OMG. I just checked Yahoo Weather. It’s 22 degrees out there, and falling. These people are nuts! And all that sniffling does NOT sound good on live TV.

Donna has gigantic earmuffs on and a big hat, and her coat collar is turned up. I think she may turn into an icicle.

Now, that wasn’t a very nice thing of you to think. Honestly. You are bad.

Despite all that clothing, I still hear a lot of sniffling, especially by Donna, and they all look MISERABLE.

But they’re blathering on about the relevance of Colin Powell to Barack Obama, and the dinner in honor of John McCain. Etc., etc. Blah blah blah.

Heh.

I’m bad.

Chris Matthews is anchoring on MSNBC. I knew you’d want to know that.

Now MSNBC is airing earlier footage of the two popsicles PEBO and VPEJB speaking about “new beginnings.” (God, can someone tell these people that that is a ridiculously redundant phrase, and that their high school English teacher would box them about the ears?)

It appears that Fox News has taken the common sense route: THEY ARE INDOORS! And Bret Baier is interviewing Dana Perino.

And — que pasa?

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

UPDATE: Whilst Anderson Cooper is opining on that unlike OTHER White House couples, there is a “lack of artifice in the relationship between Michelle and Barack Obama” — I swear on my cat’s life that that is what he just said — I take note of this live blog post by cranky and cold Candy Crowley:

Crowley: A Secret Service No-No

WILMINGTON, Delaware (CNN) — Our first minor glitch happens as we detrain in Wilmington. Seems we — the media — broke free without “handlers.” This tends to upset the Obama people.

As Obama talks, a line of Secret Service walks by me really quickly. I, of course, follow. Turns out people whose line of sight to Obama is blocked by other people have climbed into the leafless trees. That’s a secret service no-no.

These bystanders are now back on the ground.

I’m worse, Susan. I’m not even acknowledging that this farce is taking place. It’s TV black-out for me!

Comment by Magic Puzzle Box | 2009-01-17 20:09:26

I don’t even have cable. I may catch a glimpse online at CNN.com, but otherwise I’ll be checking out of this one mostly. My office building is prepping huge TV screens that have been showing CNN for a few months, but now they’re putting on close-captioning and even sound. I expect to walk through the mini shopping mall on the ground floors on my way to my office hearing the inauguration echoing from every corner.

Comment by UKforDems | 2009-01-17 20:35:12

Israel has announced a ceasefire. Of course this had nothing to do with the change in US Presidency or the Israel General Election next month.

Same here, I will avoid cable news until the 21st, and I’ll mute when local news reports it. This is very hard for me. I am a cable news junkie, LOL. But I have a hard time stomaching Obama, knowing he is a fraud.

ObamaCrimes,

Isn’t it a crock that while BO squanders $106M on egotistical nonsense, you have to try to scrape bucks together for justice.

Insanity prevails. (One of the signs of the “end times”–the world will seem to have gone completely insane.)

Yeah, another person doing TB black-out.

Good time to catch up on all the DVR stuff I haven’t watched yet.

Actually one really good thing about the election of Obama is my TV time has totally cut down. A lot more time to do things I should have been doing all along.

Comment by J.J. (The PUMA) | 2009-01-17 23:11:12

I have finally figured out why Obama spent $700 K to keep from releasing the vault copy of his birth certificate, It offers proof positive that there was no virgin birth.

By the way, the T.V. today really was good. The palm leaves laid on the track by Chris Mathews and the CNN crew as the Messiah past was a nice touch.

Comment by kgirl1028 | 2009-01-18 00:25:20

I was going to make a crude joke about obama riding in on his ass michelle. But that wouldn’t be very nice now would it?

OK I sort of *hope* Obama goes a step further imitating Lincoln by donning a stove top hat (or is it stove pipe hat?)

Donna Brazille AND David Gergen are wearing hats, it looks like a third person is wearing one LOL.

Comment by (trying to get over it) | 2009-01-17 17:50:06

ha! roland martin was also wearing some big hat — and sitting way off to the side, so much so that no one else could even turn to look at him, so bundled were they in matching black wool coats — and saying typical, trite things like: yes, the expectations are high for obama, but he’s from the generation that lives up to expectations…

Comment by rolling_thunder | 2009-01-17 18:42:03

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2009-01-17 17:56:59

Do you think PEBO could grow a beard like that? I agree. He could not. It would be straggly, doubtless. And he hasn’t the cheekbones and deep-set eyes.

(WHY IS THE CAPITOL BUILDING COLORED BLUE BY SOME HUGE BLUE LIGHT?)

Comment by AF catfish | 2009-01-17 18:21:19

The Blue Light - that’s from the Bushie playbook - remember Bush’s first press conference in New Orleans? Blue light.

Also, that heavenly blue might remind people of the clouds and the sky and heaven, and in their minds they’ll link Bambi with God LOL!

Comment by AF catfish | 2009-01-17 18:25:30

Oh if he tried to grow a beard that would be beautiful!

Of course by then he’ll have moved on and will try to be imitating Alexander the Great.

Comment by BernieO | 2009-01-17 18:35:05

I got such a kick out of Gergen’s hat that I recorded a little of the show to show my husband. What a tool!

I was in junior high when the Beatles first became a big phenomenon. Though I liked their music I was appalled by how so many girls I knew went berserk over them. Now I am watching grown men, even conservatives like David Brooks, swoon. They are acting like twelve year olds with their first crush. We are facing a terrible crisis yet these fools are living in a fairy tale world. Frightening.

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2009-01-17 18:35:47

Are you going to share, Bernie?

Comment by FranSC | 2009-01-18 02:37:41

Talk about David Brooks ’swooning’ about BO - since January a year ago, I cannot get over David Gergen’s excitement about BO. To have worked for several presidents and a REPUBLICAN no less, he has acted like a school boy over BO. He has given him every possible benefit of the doubt. Perhaps seeing O in person gives him more of something. I just don’t get it!

Comment by Dave | 2009-01-17 19:31:42

That’s pretty funny, since Gergen used to be known as “The Cat in the Hat.”

Comment by (trying to get over it) | 2009-01-17 17:46:50

i watched some, and tried to figure out why i feel NOTHING. no historical wow! no happiness. not even sadness. NOTHING. it’s like a big weird event happening in some other country. or maybe the way i feel about the superbowl — remotely aware, but not interested/moved, etc. reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeu (oops, that was the cat on keyboard! i left it because in some surreal way it makes more sense to me than the Historic Event)

my 6 year old watched part of it with me, the part where the train sloowly went thru some MD backwater town; didn’t even stop. “That’s it?!” he said. “Big deal.” And went back to building with legos.

Comment by AF catfish | 2009-01-17 18:33:55

Smart 6-year-old.

The thing is, “cool” Obama doesn’t connect. People who connect are warm, not cool. He is detached and cerebral and uncaring. Right now lots of people who are cool to him are keeping their mouths shut about what they really think.

Comment by obamastolemyboyfriend | 2009-01-17 19:52:57

That is exactly how I felt on election night with all the talk of the historic crap and pundits crying, etc. I felt nothing, just loathing!

Comment by FranSC | 2009-01-18 03:07:25

I totally get why AA’s are so completely invested in this and are out of their minds with excitement. The young AA boys and girls whose music teacher tearfully announced they were going to the Inauguration. It was quite moving. It is very evident that this experience has been electrifying and will no doubt have a life-long effect on them.

However, how disgusting that they have been so deceived into thinking this man won the nomination away from Hillary fair and square. Also that they think BO is so much more brilliant than he really is. That BO has accomplished so much when he has done virtually nothing. That he was the mastermind behind his presidential campaign that is being called ‘brilliant’ but he had virtually nothing to do with any of it. That he is being compared to Lincoln and JFK when there is no basis for that other than his own suggestions and that of a handful of overzealous media people.

Such lies. Such deceit. I have thought in recent days, maybe it would have been better had I not found out the truth and could be celebrating what would otherwise be quite an historic event and one that I would have otherwise loved. In many ways, however, this election is worse for me than the election of 2000.

“I dug right down to the bottom of my soul

I dug right down to the bottom of my soul

Taken from A CHORUS LINE….

I thought your post was interesting because I, like you, feel nothing and had not given it much thought, so it was nice to see you articulate how I feel.

Comment by elise | 2009-01-18 03:01:17

It looked sureal to me and all I felt was dread. I was particullary disturbed by the pic of the amost empty rail station in Washington. For some reason, it reminded me of an episode from “The Twilight Zone”. We watched a segment from the speech, I think in Balitmore, and I literally gasped when he said, “When Americans are knocked down, they always get right back up”. I dug my Hillary tee shirt out and showed it to my husband. Remember, “For anyone whose been knocked down and got right back up”? The little speech writer who was pictured with his hand on the breast of a Hillary cut-out is STILL stealing from her. Unlike many here, I feel a little twinge of pity for Michele. She is brought into the spotlight only when it can’t be avoided and has had to listen to comparisons to JackieO instead of being allow to be herself and create her own legacy as the first Black First Lady. I would prefer her true anger any day over her husband’s invented and empty persona.

Comment by FranSC | 2009-01-18 03:35:19

True, Michelle seems to be reigned in pretty well. As one report said a few weeks back, her going to the White House as the first AA First Lady is even more historic than Obama’s since he is bi-racial rather than AA as he has presented himself. She is a descendent of slaves. That is being judged by some as a higher accomplishment.

However, I don’t buy that she is a victim of the Jackie O talk that she can’t live up to. I suspect imitating the former First Lady by wearing the strands of pearls and similar designer clothes was of her own doing.

I have to disagree, Susan, that the phrase “new beginnings” is “ridiculously redundant.” For example, there is such a thing as moldy “old beginnings,” such as when God created the heavens and the earth. I mean, that happened a long time ago, about 7000 years or more in fact, and so cannot be said to have the same bright shiny newness as the imminent Inaugural and all it portends. I’m going to stop now, before I drift off into inadvertent sacrilege.

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2009-01-17 18:36:57

That would be April 14th, Ruination Day, the day that Lincoln was shot, that the Titanic went down, the day of Black Sunday, the worst day of the Dust Bowl. Gillian Welch:

And the great barge sank
And the Okies fled
And the Great Emancipator
Took a bullet in the back of his head . . .

The great dignity and sorrow of this song belies the phony pretensions of the Lincoln wannabe.

Ah, give those poor freezing track-side spectators a break. People are hopeful about possibilities. After 8 interminable years, they know some sort of change is rolling down the rails. And being hopeful isn’t the same as being stupid. What those heavy mittens hide is how many of them might have their fingers crossed for luck.

Comment by SusanUnPC | 2009-01-17 18:27:02

That is true. And coming from a “cynic,” that’s quite a sweet thing to say.

My fingers are bent, not crossed. One on either side of the middle, which is fully extended. The man is an egomaniacal liar who has never done A THING for anyone else in his life. Possibilities, my a__.

Comment by cynic | 2009-01-19 16:52:31

Having such a mindset renders objectivity impossible. It’s a filter. It only lets through what reinforces the original premise. Everything else just bounces off.

If you’re objective, you recognize that both the positive and the negative possibilities are real. You support one set of possibilities and resist the other. Generalized negativity is worse than useless. It’s the first thing we need to overcome if we want to pull the country out of its downward spiral.

Comment by BernieO | 2009-01-17 18:45:32

I agree. It’s the media that is freaking me out. A healthy democracy needs an objective, adult media. These guys are infantile and just plain bizarre. I can’t get past the fact that these are the same fools who did everything they could to destroy Clinton’s presidency. They absolutely hated Bill Clinton but now praise Obama for appointing all those Clintonites. They favored Bush over Gore. They’re sexist, juvenile despicable excuses for journalists. We are in too much trouble for Obama to get a pass on substance no matter how good it makes people feel.

At least there are a few liberal critics left:

The Nation who should most fear a A Barack Obama presidency is Africa. One of Obama first order of business is to reinstate no abortion restrictions for foreign aid. I can imagine planned parent hood would now open abortion factories in Africa.

I am yet to see an original thought, idea, act or speech from Obama. He is the first muti racial president and doesn’t even know how to create his own history. He has to go back and copy Abraham Lincoln. His speeches are composites of previous written works.

I can’t wait for him to recreate the famous picture of JFK with his childten playing under the desk in the White House. Only this time Obama will have his little girls recreate that scene.

Don’t forget Lincoln wrote a letter to Lydia who lost five sons. Obama wrote a letter to his girls to tell them why he ran for President.

Comment by trixta | 2009-01-17 18:36:18

Yes Africa can be referred to as a nation. There is even the Africa Nations Cup. In this Instance I am using Nation as a Noun. Even Asia can be refeered to as a nation. It is large and diverse enough to be call a nation. But yes I know it is a continent. lol

Nation: 1. A relatively large group of people organized under a single, usually independent government; a country.

2. The territory occupied by such a group of people

Comment by trixta | 2009-01-17 20:23:23

Kmx — Wasn’t Palin WRONGLY accused by her detractors of making such an erroneous claim — that Africa is a nation? You may be trolling with us here . . . . A continant, refers to a large geographical stretch of land on earth, which may or may not contain nations.

In any case, you’re conflating the terms nation and continant to mean one and the same thing. By your understanding, Brazil and Argentina would be part of the same “nation”–which, makes no sense because these countries do NOT share the same governmental organization, culture, community, etc. Furthermore, as nations they are demarcated individually by a specific history, identity, and sense of place. The same could be said for the individual nations of Rwanda, Kenya, or South Africa — each characterized by different colonial histories, ethnic communities, languages, governmental organization, etc.

Comment by kgirl1028 | 2009-01-18 00:29:36

That was my favorite you tube video during the primary! I sent it to my ex boyfriend, the cad, and he said well, you had me thinking there until it became Ode to Hillary!

I hate my ex boyfriend now almost as much as I hate Odrama!

I’m sure they will live the same misery, except Obama gets to live it at the White House.

I did learn that they are made for each other!

Thank you for the tip! That’s great. I like her. Some people kept saying she was in the tank for Obama, but I never did. I think she’s got a traditional, REAL reporter’s standards going for her. I’ll never forget her badgering Obama that day in Texas when he was trying to avoid questions, and she was leading the pack of reporters in demanding answers.

i watched some, and tried to figure out why i feel NOTHING….

Probably because we’ve been here before with GWB, and have refined blocking out such poseurs to a fine art. I’m about as resigned to BO as I was to GWB—which is to say that I’m NOT. Obama is just another brand in an obnoxious commercial. As a habit, I watch TV by blocking out and muting the commercials, never really paying attention to what or how a particular commodity is being sold. Indeed, my mind wanders to other things, or I just surf to other channels. Since this weekend is going to be one long infomercial on brand BO, I’ll just keep the TV off, thank you very much.

[It's like] maybe the way i feel about the superbowl.

I rarely watch the Super Bowl, but even I recognize that those athletes have talent and work hard to cultivate their skills. If Obama were allowed to play in the Super Bowl, they’d have to move the goal posts and shrink the field so that he could score a point or win the game. Of course, any foul or penalty against him would be characterized as racist.

Comment by basil | 2009-01-17 18:36:37

I cannot WAIT until this is over!
But will it ever? (be over)

Today I tried to watch the news but couldn’t find anything except the absurd Thomas-the-train poo-poo choo-choo tripe.

AND as I was trying to escape the madness and ordering a pair of good bird-watching binoculars the customer service rep asked if i wanted to purchase an Obama TV. I almost canceled my order.

For the umteenth time in the past year I am ASHAMED to be an American.

Any predictions about when (if ever) it will be safe to tune into local news?

The only silver lining for me is a weekend Law and order marathon with back-to-back episodes.

The Drying Paint Channel,
The Growing Grass Channel, and
The Dripping Faucet Channel.

Take your pick, any would be more enlightening and edifying than the Other Channels devoted to the adoration of That One.

I live here in Baltimore,

What an embarassment- this crap cost my restaurant near the city hall
major $$$$$$$ because no one could get near here. This coronation is just
a joke. I Still and always will be Hillary Fan, cooked for her at an Inaugural
ball still smiles with memory of it. But just for you all here - here’s the real
joke of it all- 1. they went to the war memorial, NOT the real RR station where
Lincoln came why not? who knows. 2. They told our embattled mayor to
hide, not even in sight! LOL! 3. where was nancy pelosi, ? hiding in the crowd
hmmm embarrassed over your birthplace? dont worry we’re embarassed here
by her too with her” primary ” behavior! 3. curious where Mikulski and
cardin were? are they on board? so to speak the train or what? interesting
we did not see them.

If Obama really wanted to make a statement, he would have gone to the real
train station, Federal hill, or better yet, fort Mchenry!!! dont ya just love a dog and pony show! Thank Goodness our streets are free and clear now
and they are in DC. !!!

How weird is it that Bush humiliated Condi at Omert’s request?
http://buchanan.org/blog/

And how is this for an example of serious Kool Aid poisoning? David Brooks is bad, but Mark Shields i positively nauseating. Here is Shields gushing over Obama:

“One of the great advantages that Barack Obama has, in addition to his exceptional personal qualities and strengths, is that he is the first post-cultural president we have had in this country.”
He goes on to say we fought over Vietnam andwomen’s rights then says:
“And Barack Obama, it couldn’t mean less to him. And he has none of those scars. He has none of that baggage. He doesn’t have to prove that his side was right, because he didn’t have a side.”

WOW!! A liberal pundit praising Obama for not having caring about women’s rights. No coincidence he didn’t include the fight over civil rights here. Obama does take sides when his personal interests are involved. We’ve come a long way, baby!

Here’s the video. Only watch if you have a strong stomach. It’s a sickening example of idol worship.

Again I say that this is the most ludicrous spending of the taxpayers money during this time of economical recession.
Why is it that everyone else in America has to tighten their belts but Obama is spending spending spending. He is not only spending unnecessary taxpayer funds on his inauguration but his family’s and his life style shows extravagant spending.
Look at his Hawaiian vacation. I will make a bet that it was close to a 1/2 million dollars or more. (Could a few people, companies or ??? be helped out, instead of people losing homes or jobs?).
Look at where he was eating during Bush’s last speech. I heard that the dinner for those 1/2 dozen or so in the dinner party was a few thousand dollars. (it was probably more than most people make in a couple of months).
I guess Obama wants to be the first in a lot of things during his Presidency.

Here is a little truth that the Canadians seem to see and that our own MSM fail to acknowledge (or complicit in hiding it).

From SavagePolitics.com:

2. Will George W. Bush end up being the last true US President? Increasingly, it seems that he just may. As lawsuits against President-elect Barack Hussein Obama—questioning his US citizenship—continue to grow, he ever more adamantly continues his refusal to produce his real, viable and original birth certificate. CONTINUE TO SOURCE

I don’t he has the merits to be called anything but an ursurper.

He is so struck on this Lincoln theme that I read that they were having Pheasant and some kind of stew that Lincoln liked for one of these dinners, my god how much more ridiculous can this event get.

Obama was missing the Lincoln scissors tail coat and hat, and the media well they know the entire world is waiting to see this swearing in of Obama.

I don’t know who gave them the media a heads up on that one, but they sure feel that millions all over the world will be glued to their TV sets to witness this historic event as they put it, man we are having 24/7 brain washing of the Obama frenzy

But I find the money being dropped on this gala affair downright obscene. Didn’t everyone go nuts when Bush spent $75 million on his inauguration? And yet I understand that once security is thrown in Obama’s bash will be twice that much.

Who knew that joke would turn into our political reality.

Looks like a Chicago Steamer is coming down the shoot folks!

Whistle stop tour my ass.

Jimmy Carter The Worst President Evah!, your legacy is safe in 3, 2, 1…

Atleast, based on his track record of having done nothing to actually help his constituency and lasting only a short time in any position before running for the next, we can all breath a sigh of relief knowing that in 2 years, The King of the Schmucks will put the presidency on hold to run for POPE!

I wonder if he will relocate the Vatican to Hyde Park.

Meanwhile the fuckin planet still hasn’t been healed and the waters are still a rising!

But hey, It don’t matter if Maryland is Broke! All that matters is Obama is president! Look at my new Obama watch everyone…isn’t it purtee??

It may be the presses job to adore him, but isn’t his job supposed to be something else ENTIRELY? It appears the constant self-aggrandizement is only going to continue and at some point people are going to wake up to the fact that photo-ops and good times are what it is all about for our first true “celebrity president.”

I think that on Wednesday morning the photo-ops and partying will just continue. There will be lots and lots of useless, unproductive, well phtographed “meetings.” “Officials” and “experts” will continue to party hardy at the White House and nothing, NOTHING will “change.” It will probably take the entire 4 years for everyone to get totally PO’ed about it and even then the far left will continue to opine about how wonderful it all is.At that point the Republicans will present us with their own version of a “saviour” and 52% of the country will go for that. What a racket!

And, it’s quite topical since it’s about combatting gangs and we’ve just had our 6th gang shooting so far this year over in Salinas. It’s getting to be a war zone…same families of thugs who are making our southern border more dangerous than Baghdad. Shootouts are between Hispanic males between 15 and 30. They’ve got the CHP backing up the local PD and county sheriffs but we actually need the National Guard to pick them up and hold them for Homeland Security. Deport the whole fam damily. B movies are always funny but if they get really bad, I’ll just pop in an Al Pacino movie.

Did anyone hear about this new gangster movie starring Johnny Depp? It’s set in Chicago. Sounds interesting.

My family is in D.C right now. I’ll probably give them a call, just to check in.

Another also: Someone is publishing an Obama comic book, kinda based on Spiderman.

My mom pre-ordered a dozen of them for herself and her friends. By this point, she doesn’t want to hear any of my smart ass comments about Obama, real close to cussin me out so I don’t talk to her about him anymore. Thanks for the site Larry!

…I did agree to stop by to start her car everyday though.

Did anyone see Chris Matthews this morning admit that he was in on the scam since Obama’s keynote speech at the ‘04 convention. Matthews aired this comment from 2004: “I think the immigrant experience combined with the, with the African background combined with the incredible education, combined with his beautiful speech, not every politician gets help from a speech. But that speech was a piece of work!” THE FIX WAS IN–WE FELL FOR IT. Who is going to hold the pundits, media, ININFORMED PUBLIC accountable down the road for this con?

The train ain’t a-comin’; it’s a leavin’ with the rest of our cash that Bush and Cheney failed to take with them. That One is just going to finish another job this Administration didn’t complete.

Thanks a lot, bushbots and obamabots.

I have a feeling that when Obama and his family are done with their time in the White House they will many many more records in the White House; mostly financial.
I have this sinking feeling that the Obamas feel that there is no limit to their expense accounts as long as the American taxpayers pay for it. Let the Amercians tighten their belts a bit while the president and his family lives high off their backs.

The LA Times’ Tim Rutten — my favorite op-ed writer — has a book review today that draws on Richard Hofstadter’s elucidation of “the paranoid style” in American politics.

Much to be appreciated here, as Hostadter’s description fits NQ to a T:

“One of the impressive things about paranoid literature is the contrast between its fantasied conclusions and the almost touching concern with factuality it invariably shows….It produces heroic strivings for evidence to prove that the unbelievable is the only thing that can be believed.”

Apocrypahl Kenyan birth records, anyone? Larry Johnson tape? Impending Russian invasion of Alaska? (That last one was for trixta). ;)

Check it out.

You accuse us of being paranoid. Actually we question the veracity of your candidate and you obamabots. I have yet to see anything approaching the truth about your candidate mainly because he is keeping it a big secret. What’s up with that, toodles?

No, we aren’t paranoid. You, on the other hand, are a gullible, soft-headed waste of genetic material who thinks That One is the greatest American who ever drew breath.

On second thought, I’d rather be “paranoid” than stupid like you.

ARRRRGH! There is no escaping Obama! I can’t believe I am paying HBO to have Fraud’s inauguration on three HBO channels!

However, I will be glued to the television when he is found to be an illegal fraud:)!

Eligibility battle rages on 3 fronts
Court, Congress and college challenged on constitutionality

Officials at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Calif., have been served with a demand to produce records concerning Barack Obama’s attendance there during the 1980s because they could document whether he was attending as a foreign national – in one of three fronts now established by those contesting the president-elect’s constitutional eligibility for the Oval Office.
