My husband abd I decided early in our marriage that we only wanted 2 children and that’s all we had.Both boys and healthy. Through all these years we struggled at times and we both held full time jobs!But we made sure our boys wer taken care of and most important, they knew they were loved. How is this woman going to to raise all these kids? I imagine how much of a strain it is for her parents. It’s not fait to them. It makes me so angry when someone can just purposely reproduce like this with no means to care for them. Did she think she would recieve more government money? There are so many couples out there that can’t have children of their own and could give them the care and LOVE they deserve. How about the older kids/ Will they now fee forgotten? There are so many questions. I just hope Childrens services keeps a close watch on them.

Why isn’t the doctor who implanted her being made to pay support for these children, after all, he implanted her with them all! seems to me she isn’t the only irresponosible one here.

Actually this was a different docter.The parents already had meetings with the prevous docters about Nadyas obsession with children and had them agree not to help her again.Nadya found someone else to give a piece of this pie to.

This woman appears mentally deficient, and totally unprepared for the assignment of caring for 8 infants. Something will have to give, either the older 6 will suffer from lack of attention from mom, and take it out on the 8 younger ones, or the 8 will suffer in some other way.

Even for a two-parent family this would be challenging. I don’t even see how she can go shopping, run errands, manage a household, get the kids ready for school, or feed the brood. She doesn’t even have the right living conditions for this new, expanded family.

And the video does not even show any preparation to receive the 8 newborns.

Interesting note, daycare facilites require at least a 1:4 ratio of adults to children. This isn’t even close.

Given that the vast majority of women who have an abortion only have 1 in their many years of fertility, clearly abortion is not being used “as birth control.” If it were, the average women would have about 10 abortions. Since this is not the case then the idea that women use it as birth control is quite patently false (not to mention insulting to women). As far as the rest of your post is concerned, it is not coherent. Why should unborn babies who were the result of rape have less humanity then those conceived “irresponsibly?” Also, should women have a crystal ball that they look into before they get pregnant and then choose to give birth so that they can know if they are going to have health problems? If this isn’t possible then a heath exemption would be pointless given that the women cannot possibly always predict their health. Finally, what do you suggest that we do to insure that men have their say–investigate all sex that results in a child? What if the woman says no baby and the man says yes? Force her to remain pregnant? What if her health fails and she dies as a result? Does the man then get the baby? How nice for him if not for her. Don’t you think that this is giving way too much power to the State?

I’m not whining, just stating my opinion. I repsect yours, but it’s a shame that you don’t feel that way about others.

I said I was pro choice but with limits. I do feel that if their health is involved or rape or other issues, then it’s a woman’s decision. I just don’t think it should be used as a birth control method – unless you were using birth control and it failed. Or unless it’s agreed upon by both parties.

I have known many people who have had abortions because they were careless and just not ready for children, or didn’t want more. I don’t agree with this. Don’t like it? Sorry, but guess what? I was a kid when Roe v Wade happened. As a woman, I am happy it did happen. But it has been 37 years since then and we have so much more BC methods readily available, yet we are having more and more abortions. We even have the day after pill.

Well, better stop whining and start working on that artificial womb.

Don’t have to work on it, we’ve got test tubes now. You’re extreme statement had the opposite affect on me. It just reinforces my belief that men should have some say. If there is no other way for them to ever have a baby, then they should be able to decide if their baby lives or dies.

I read somewhere that the sperm donor of the 6 children had requested that she not use anymore of his banked sperm, but she and the doctor disregarded his input.

I think legally, once he donates his sperm, it’s out of his hands. Generally he wouldn’t even be aware of who was using his sperm. I’m assuming this was the usual situation, where the mother picked the donor out of a book, based on the descriptions of his looks and his family’s health history and what he is majoring in (they’re usually college students).

But he must have been told, probably because it was the same woman each time, and she was trying to give birth to whole city. I don’t think he is liable for the care of the children (not judging by my knowledge of sperm banks), so it actually seems to speak very well of him that he is stepping forward to do so.

This woman is a disgrace. I didn’t have kids and it’s too late. I was busy working. I didn’t think that I could do both effectively so I made a choice. Maybe not the best one, but the one that worked for me. I don’t regret it, as I have a rich, full life. But the fact that I have to pay for these irresponsible women, with no common sense, makes me puke. This needs to stop. No wonder China does what it does.

She also said all 14 are from the same donor. There was an article with picture of a guy (Solomon was the last name I think) who said he was taking responsibility for the first 6. If the same donor for all, I don’t see why not responsibility for all 14. He wasn’t an anonymous sperm bank donor. He is culpable as well.

I thought the same thing when I saw her. She even appears to try to copy Jolie’s manner, hair. I’m sure a tunny tuck is next…for her mental health of course.

She was lonely. Now she has magnified that to 14 little lonely children. No mother, even a healthy one can cover all those bases with any degree of depth. Sad little sicko.
