Octo+6 House: What a Dump

The mother of the woman who used a fertility doctor to give birth to octuplets, despite already having six young children, called her daughter’s actions “unconscionable” in an interview posted online Sunday.
Angela Suleman is caring for the six older children while her daughter is hospitalized after giving birth Jan. 26 to the octuplets.
“She already has six beautiful children, why would she do this?” Angela Suleman said in the videotaped interview with celebrity news Web site RadarOnline.com. “I’m struggling to look after her six. We had to put in bunk beds, feed them in shifts and there’s children’s clothing piled all over the house.”
And the plot thickens:
Nadya Suleman, a divorced single mother, told NBC’s “Today” show that the same fertility specialist provided in-vitro fertilization for all 14 of her children.
Angela Suleman seemed to contradict that account, saying the fertility specialist who helped her daughter give birth to the octuplets was a different doctor from the one who aided in the birth of her first six children.
Bonus: Grandma says she hasn’t seem dime one of Octomom’s insurance settlement for rent or childcare. So Supermom Nadya Suleman is a deadbeat, a spoiled, irresponsible child trapped in a perpetually pregnant woman’s body. And it needs to be said: Haven’t we seen houses like this before? Except usually the occupant is a crazy woman living with 100 cats.
This is not meant to be a slam on the grandparents, who are doing the best that they can under extremely difficult circumstances despite being dissed by their daughter in public (”dysfunctional childhood” my fanny).

It seems difficult to believe that Child Services will not intervene at some point. The house is a mess. There is no room for 8 infants, 6 children and 3 adults in that house. Unless Octomom hits the motherload of endorsements or lands the big money interview she craves, there is no way in hell that this overwhelmed family can look after all the children.

This is just sad. Someone should ask the doctors what they were thinking to have allowed this woman to do this? Doctors nowadays are often just in it for the business. There are a lot of good doctors, but there are a lot of crooks among the ranks of the medical profession. This problem came about because more than one person needed his/her head examined….
They are going to need expensive care as they are multiple preemies. Typically, they have a lot of developmental and health problems. She doesn’t have the time to do all of that let alone the day-to-day care of all of them and her 6 other children.
If she cares about them at all, if she loves them - she is going to have to find a solution quick. Before the state steps in and dictates how.
She needs to get to interviewing potential childless couples to see if there are any out there who are willing to raise and love eight babies.
And, who have the means to do so.
So now we see that medical science can perform procedures like in vitro fertilization with as many babies as possible but will never solve the mystery of irrational human behavior–I just pray that each of these babies finds a loving couple to take care of him or her because their mother is obviously insane.
The woman said on the Today show that she is planning on going to college to get her masters. I looked it up and saw she got her degree at Cal State Fullerton in 2006 for….get this….child and adolescent development
Who paid for that? Why wasn’t CPS already at the house with the 6 kids?
I want to know who paid for the whole thing. In-vitro is very expensive. I was told $10,000 per implanted embryo. Not to mention all the other costs. Who is paying for this? So far, I haven’t seen that accounted for. Anybody know the answer? Thanks.
The truly sad part Chris…we have poor people dying in emergency rooms from treatable diseases because of a lack of health insurance and this wench who has no money, no insurance, NO JOB is cranking out helpless children that the state will have to pay for. Makes you want to scream.
There is a radio host, that I won’t name, that says the far left is picking on this woman because we don’t believe women should give birth.
Ridiculous. How did the rest of us get here?
The woman has the right to have as many children as she wishes. However, her own mother says she’s incapable of caring for all of these children on her own.
I think, and I am far from an expert, that this is some strange version of Munchausen. Look at the attention she’s garnered.
This story is sad.
I am livid that NBC is pimping for this woman. Already, they’re putting a happy face spin on this. Next, we’ll see pictures of the darling 8 babies with the serene, enhanced (lips, nose, pale monochromatic look, long black hair) Angelina clone. She’s already saying that this wouldn’t be criticized if she were part of a couple. I believe she thinks that’s who she is…Earth Mother Angelina.
I think the doctor/doctors should be investigaged and yes how did they get paid - where did this woman get the money to have the implants and why did her parents not just throw her out before this all began….

California taxpayers will end up footing the bill for this psycho’s poor kids. I think she should either have to work two jobs to help pay for what she’s done, or go to jail.
