Yes. Slumdog is great. This misdirection is uncalled for (and lacks debate value) and in some sense quite cruel.

I am not talking about the generalities. Read the photo essay, read about what is going on with Dharavi and perhaps you will then understand my point.

That being said I’m glad that the inhabitants of those wretched neighborhoods are getting some much-needed attention (which isn’t coming from Bollywood BTW).
