well I guess the vexing budget problems we’re facing in KS weren’t compelling enough for her.She actually reminds me of Obama very much the opportunist and I’m sure they’ll get on just splendidly together with health reforms there as non-existent as they are here.

And yes it is the absolute truth that the far right in KS has alienated enough moderate republicans to put some dems in office. Johnson county’s congressman has been elected for precisely that reason.It will be interesting to see who in the democratic party runs for Brownback’s seat with Sebelius tapped for HHS.

I predict that barring any unforeseen problems while Secretary of HHS Sebelius will be President Training Pants’ running mate in 2012.

Great post Steve! To say that she fought the insurance industry in Kansas isn’t saying much.

In a state where the victim of a doctor cutting off the wrong limbs can at best recover only a few hundred and fifty thousand dollars, the citizens are very unlucky.

Malpractice insurance won under Last Pick Sebelius with all personal injury cases having an insanely low cap.

They test drugs on people there that they wouldn’t test on rats elsewhere.

Abusing the elderly in nursing homes = $250K.

What if a drunk truck driver kills your child? $250K.

A jury may award millions, but victims only get $250,000.

Good history Steve, but Mrs. Sebelius ain’t in Kansas any more.
She will need more than luck going up against the pros in D.C.!
She can’t possible have the same level of knowledge as Hillary had, and much of the country is already rebelling against changes in medical delivery!
