[MAJOR Video UPDATE] Lava Hot! Judd Gregg and Eliot Spitzer’s Damning Condemnations of Obama’s Faux Stimulus Plan
By SusanUnPC on March 22, 2009 at 5:59 PM in AIG, Judd Gregg
MAJOR VIDEO UPDATE: BELOW the fold, the FULL interview by Fareed Zakaria of Eliot Spitzer.
Foreword: Special thanks go to my dear friend Truthteller who introduced me to the incendiary phrase, “Lava hot!”
Let’s face facts: Obama does not have a plan for the economy. There IS NO PLAN. That’s because he doesn’t do the work. Most critically, he performs NO oversight or knowledgeable scrutiny of his Treasury Department, his Secretary of the Treasury (the anti-regulation extremist Timothy F. Geithner), his economic advisers galore — nearly enough to fill half of a NCAA game gymnasium — or any of the related and immensely important federal departments. I can imagine his input in the crisis SitRoom as decisions about, say, unmanned drones come up, would be something akin to, “That’s cool. Let’s do it,” as he quickly slips out the door, leaving behind the slack-jawed, head-scratching top executives from the military, Pentagon, and Defense, Intelligence and State Departments (who expected at least a question or two) because he must always be doing what he wants to do — to work out some more, listen to Jay-Z, play in the bowling alley, or hang with his political guru David Axelrod or Chief of Staff campaign adviser Rahm Emanuel.
How do I know this? I know this because this blog and its exceptional team of highly disciplined, fact-checking writers has exhaustively studied this man and we know that he solely cares about (1) campaigning before adulatory crowds, (2) winning at all costs, (3) keeping happy the richest who really benefited his campaign chests most and, we think, sneaked money to Acorn people who got pre-paid credit cards to induce the poor to donate 80% and pocket the rest, and (4) plotting the next campaign and the next big win — while bamboozling the American people, praying that he can keep them as ignorant about his lack of work ethic as he can through his speechifying and teleprompter readings.
Now I give you Senator Judd Gregg and former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, who both appeared on CNN this morning (yes, both men have strikes against them, but they’re still worth heeding):
[NOTE: THE NEW LONGER VIDEO IS JUST BELOW THIS SHORTER ONE.] This is the short version of Eliot Spitzer on Fareed Zakaria’s show today. His site says they’ll have the full interview up later. Frankly, I don’t care about Spitzer’s scandal. I just want to hear about AIG, because SPITZER KNOWS A LOT ABOUT AIG, given his previous post as New York state’s A.G. and his intensive investigations of Wall Street:
UPDATE: HERE IS THE FULL INTERVIEW OF SPITZER, JUST POSTED AT ZAKARIA’S TRIM, USEFUL WEB SITE FOR HIS CNN SUNDAY SHOW that I regard as must-see TV (and below is one more update you mustn’t miss!):
SECOND UPDATE: See also, my earlier story that featured another Zakaria interview — and which we ALL should watch again — the Financial Times columnist Martin Wolf, in my March 4th story, “The economy: Scarier than we thought, and Obama’s plans are too timid to fix it.” My story features a special UPDATE by Larry Johnson that is a MUST-READ. (I love it when Larry interjects commentary into my stories because he is so incisive and smart, and he sees “big picture” scenarios that many people miss.)
See also, my earlier story, “Just The Facts, Barack.”
And DO NOT MISS Larry Johnson’s story earlier today, “Hey Frank. Barack is Drowning Black Folk?.” LARRY HITS IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!
POSTSCRIPT: While I say at the outside of this post that there is no plan, we must remember that tomorrow, the administration is going to announce a “toxic assets” plan. But I’m not optimistic given the vague, wormhole speeches that were intended to be regarded as a “plan.” We’ll all have to check the news tonight — the wire services and the big newspapers — to see if they’ve been leaked an early copy of the “toxic assets” plan.
I will interpret an early leak of the plan as a positive sign. No leaks? That means it’s just more of the same empty words we’ve become accustomed to from the 0bama administration that isn’t administered.

Elliot Spitzer was destroyed by Wall Street, that’s how he got in trouble. They set him up because he went after them. Right after he wrote an editorial exposing what Wall Street and the federal government were doing, he gets caught with a prostitute and is forced to resign. Funny how things works out!
Don’t mess with the money.
“When history tells the story of the sub-prime lending crisis and recounts its devastating effects on the lives of so many innocent homeowners, the Bush administration will not be judged favorably . . . it will be judged as a willing accomplice to the lenders who went to any lengths in their quest for profits. The administration was so willing, in fact, that it used the power of the federal government in an unprecedented assault on state legislatures, as well as on state attorneys general and anyone else on the side of consumers.”
Spitzer before the financial crisis. A visionary. A sick, twisted visionary, but a visionary nonetheless.
James: How is it Eliot Spitzer was destroyed by Wall Street but Bill Clinton committed an impeachable offense all by himself? Are you saying that Spitzer did not have a prostitute or that he did nothing wrong? Just curious. It seems to me that he destroyed himself with his bad boy behavior.
Don’t think I’m ready to turn to Spitzer for political analysis or any other advice. That said, I do believe Obama is Bush II.
I don’t think dropping your pants and paying for it is a crime … something about oldest profession. And at least there wasn’t a pimp involved in the transaction. I call that PROGRESS.
LMAO. You do have a way with words, there, beebop.
When you think about how much energy has been used enforcing what is a natural human impulse is amazing.
The drug war is another example of legislating against Vice with no success. Now we have armed terrorists on our border.
Tax it
Legalize it
Have fun with it
Whatever your pleasure!
I’m a libertarian when it comes to personal freedoms…
Extreme Liberty is the only way to shake off the shackles of the coming tyranny.
Amen to those sentiments.
Amen from here, too.
Oh, he got himself in trouble. But what I’m saying is that Wall Street was behind the leaking of the political bomb. Spitzer was actually doing his job, Wall Street hated him because he actually held them accountable.
Knock yourself out, mouth-breather. Better yet, stop reading newspapers and brag about it, saying the MSM sucks because they got stuff wrong.
I love blogs like NoQuarter but I read newspapers too. You know who had the juciest dirt on Obama despite being his cheerleader? The New York Times. Yep. Did you know he asked his law students to write papers on how paying out slavery reparations could be administered? That he didn’t ask them the merits, pros or cons of such an idea, just how it could be carried out? You know how I know this? It was in the NYT.
I’ve had it with willful ignorance, even among the non-cheeto blogosphere. Spitzer may have a zipper problem but he knows Wall Street fraud.
Correction: the NYT and the Wall Street Journal. They fill in each other’s blind spots. The NYT didn’t have everything.
O’Zero cheerleader publication the New Yorker had a lot of good dirt too.
http://www.bookwormroom.com/2008/07/30/obama-and-reparations/
This has a link to the NYTimes article about his teaching and the “reparations” talk. Thanks for that AF.
AF Catfish
Thank you for this N.Y. story on Obama asking his students to write about reparation without discussing the merits of such action. JUST THE PROCESS. That’s all this clueless moron Bush clone is good for. Process. He hasn’t got a clue of how, why and what the merits of any thing are!
A robotic president.
Who is his ventriloquist?
Don’t tell me his Telemprompter!
Could you please give the reference for this story on Obummer’s students being asked to write his Process Cool story….
The Wall Street criminals were just waiting for Spitzer to screw up somehow to get rid of him because he was actually doing his job. Spitzer should’ve known better but he’s human and I don’t know the problems that exist in his marriage. Wall Street would’ve nailed him with something , anything, sooner or later. Sadly, we need someone like Spitzer to replace Geithner.
I believe that Bill and Hillary Clinton love this country but how can they not be snickering over Obama’s buffoonery right now. They are probably saying the same things PUMAs are saying: “We told you so!”.
The Clintons know all the dirt on OFraudo and IMO should have exposed it. Oh well.
Agreed. If they do know, they should speak up-for the good of the country (just as those who knew anything about Cheney and Bush should have spoken up sooner, rather than later).
I couldn’t agree with you more. We know the Clinton’s have the goods on the usurper and dammit they need to expose it now! The same goes for McCain and the RNC!
test
They may know the truth, but do they have evidence? Speaking the truth without evidence would only ruin their careers, and therefore, our chances of surviving BO’s presidency.
I m Fed Up
What exactly do Hillary and Bill know that they scream out from the rooftops, then, or now?
What do you think they know about OFraudbama that any other second rate blogger doesn’t know already.
Go to ObamaCrimes.com and see for yourself the lawsuits started by former Dep AttGeneral Philip Berger and an admiral.
There are way too many lawsuits alleging the facts that could have brought Obummer down ages ago! He’s still standing!
So, tell me, just what can Hillary shout from the rooftop about Obummer’s Fraudorama Circums now currently residing @ White House, that we haven’t heard or tried already???
ObamaFraud = Dubbya Bush II
I know for a fact that the Clintons know plenty. I can’t believe anyone would actually think the Clintons like Obama after everything he did to both of them. She got the job and I am happy that at least one person with reason and sanity is in the Obama fraud of a cabinet. But Hill and Bill had a lot to talk about and they STFU.
“Who would listen?” Everyone seems to listen to every word Hillary says here, so I am assuming that would have included Hillary being honest about Obama. My feeling is that they should have done it, and so should the GOP have spilled what they knew. We wouldn’t have him, or his mess, had people told the truth. IMO, of course.
You’re taking this idea of speakin out against Obama out of space and time. Six months ago, Obama was golden, and untouchable. The Clintons did try to warn people, and the media jumped all over them. The general public is starting to see the fraud for what he is, but they still aren’t ready to believe their own eyes. I believe it will happen, but there are still too many people willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Time is not Obama’s friend, as he has no experience to fall back on.
Come on, who would have listened. The media was so in the tank for Obama, they would have villified the Clintons. Unfortunately, the only way to take Obama down is by his own actions or inactions. The public has to see him as he is-a man who is way above his pay grade-no experience, no zest for knowledge, no work ethic. We can all say we told you so, but until they can see if for themselves, we will have to put up with him for a while longer.
James
I thought about this. Wonder if Susan could do some digging perhaps here….
Wow - I could care less about his being with a bimbo. That is between him and his wife. He can totally redeem himself in my mind by explaining the stuff no one wants to talk about.
Right now the head of AIG says he got rid of the Credit Default Swaps(1 Trillion) , however 1.6 Trillion remain in other derivatives to be resloved. Since we own the company, he should be forced to tell us about it. If he won’t get Spitzer on and show a little light on the subject.
This whole mystique is nothing but a mechanism to continue the transfer of the wealth from the middle class to the wealthy.
I weekly write small short notes to my senators and congresspersn to express my displeasure. It is easy, go to their site and it takes about 5 minutes. They rarely reply, however I will not let them think they are getting away with this. I would encourage the entire No Quarter Blog to do the same. We could be a force to be reconed with.
Fiscal Liberal
Me, too. I couldn’t care less about Spritzer sizzling it up with high-class call girls. Except that he was using taxpayers’ money.
And, worse, that Spritzer Jerk was not only lying to his wife, but lying to his constituents! He was acting like a goddam peacock spreading his flashy wings shouting from the rooftops that THE JERK WAS FIGHTING PROSTITUTION!
His Wall Street stand was commendable, to be sure. We don’t know to what extend it was prompted by grandstanding for votes.
But we do know the creek pretended to want to ERADICATE prostitution while practicisng it most relilgiously!!!
Hell, give him a job at the Fraudorama Circus!
Sorry, I meant to refer to Mr. Spritzer as “creep” and not “creek”. Apologies! Never liked the jerk! As phony as a truthful Pravda edition! And I do find some truth in Pravda that was missing in the N.Y. Times during the 8 Bush Terror Years!
Susan, the toxic plan for tomorrow was leaked and people like Krugman, Calculated Risk and Naked Capialism are against it. Riverdaughter discussed it yesterday.
They view it as a win win for the invetors and little upside for the taxpayer.
Oh. Well, I will leave it to our economic gurus Larry Doyle and Larry Johnson to dissect the plan.
Thank you for informing me, Fiscalliberal. It makes sense that you’d know because you’re always on top of these things. Will you be calling into LD’s show tonight? I love it when you call in.
I will go check Paul Krugman’s blog. You don’t have any links, and he’s the only person I’m familiar with, aside from Riverdaughter who i somewhat avoid given her tendency to find opportunities to bash us at NoQuarter for no earthly reason except, we wonder, if she’s envious of our prominence. We certainly wish HER well, and have often quoted and linked to her. Sadly, the PUMA movement was riven by such petty jealousies and made me eventually so uncomfortable (as to who I could trust) that I quietly withdrew from their activities which were rather time-consuming and not especially beneficial in some ways. I digress. Forgive me.
SO, i hope you call in. I can tell that Larry Doyle loves it when you call in!!!
yes.we could..tea anyone????
OK, so you’re going to bash Bush without mentioning those who set up this nightmare, Carter and Clinton. Lets not rewrite history.
Set up the nightmare how? The community reinvestment act did not cause the problem. The community banks are actually doing well.
The community banks that initiated the irresponsible sub-prime loans, and the medium sized banks that did the same, (quite often pressured to do so by groups like Acorn with the force of the CRA to back them up) almost always immediatly sent that paper up the ladder (sold them) to larger banks like WaMu , Freddie, Fannie, etc. The large banks got commissions for all the paper they bought up; commissions that eventually lined the pockets of Democrat darlings like Franklin Raines and Jamie Gorelick who walked away with millions. That let the community banks off the hook. When the rates on the ARM’s went from 1&2% to 7 or 8%, people who were living in houses that they really couldn’t afford (it’s important here to understand that the value of houses had become unhinged from the normal inflation rate because everyone from illegal aliens to house flippers were able to get loans without down payments, good credit, or valid history, which caused house values to explode upwards.) could not longer afford the payments and started defaulting in droves. The large banks that were holding all the paper were now holding empty houses that were losing value daily. People that had not defaulted on their loans began to realize that they owed more for their house than it was now worth, the empty house next door could be bought for a song, they were then under water. The housing bubble that had been artificially inflated by the CRA, pressure groups like Acorn, dickweeds like Barney Beans & Franks, 0bama, and Chris Dodo Dodd running interferance, and yes, greedy people who bit off more than they could chew, had finally burst. Now all the mega banks, and the insurers (AIG) backing them up, were holding tons of worthless paper. There had been efforts by Republicans, who realized the potential shit storm that was gathering, to defuse the ticking time bomb, but they were shot down. I suppose you can give them some blame for not being more insistent, but shouldn’t the Dems like Franks and the incontinent Maxine Waters, that loudly proclaimed there was no problem, get 95% of the blame? Because such a large percentage of our economy and wealth are tied directly to housing, the feedback cascade spread into all aspects of the market.
There are of course other major, but more cryptic and complicated causes for the meltdown, but if the rather simple explaination above is too confusing for 0bots, they would never understand George Sore-ass Soros’ involvement, and the forces that intentionally lit the fuse for the economic bomb that put their sock puppet 0bama in place.
Andrew there is a Dateline NBC special on tonight about this. I am so tired of the lies from the left about it.
I’m trying to maintain a generous attitude by hoping it’s not as much lies, as it is blind ignorance.
It’s both, sadly, Andrew. But the good news is that if Dateline NBC is going to blow the whistle, and connect the dots between the welfare fraud and free houses, all the way to Wall Street’s failure, then finally we might see some honest truth in reporting. Too bad they couldn’t have aired this before the Fraud usurped the WH.
Well, I sure hope NBC is somewhat supportive of my outline above, I wouldn’t want egg on my face.
You’re absolutely right C&C, it’s not at all very complicated to understand the genesis of the problem, therefore, it’s beyond the understanding of 0bama supporters. It doesn’t matter how often it’s posted, or how clear the explaination is, 0bots simply refuse to let it sink in. Ever try arguing with someone who believes we’ve never sent men to the Moon? It’s a waste of time.
Uuuhh… if you’re going to go to the wayback machine for someone to blame, you seem to have forgotten the one who really started this mess: Ronald Reagan.
The Demoncraps have Fannie and Freddie on their heads and no one else’s. Starting with Carter, expanded by Clinton, and buttressed by liars like that pig Maxine Waters, Obama, Frank, you name it. All Dim thieving socialist scum. I wish the Obutts would stop the lies, but then again they voted for ZeroBama so what can we expect? Whine and lie about the GOP for now losers, but in 2010 and 2012 you’re going to get your azzes handed to you.
From your post to God’s laptop! (all except the “azzes” part)
C&C: blaming Clinton and Carter is getting really old. Do you believe Bush played no part in the economic meltdown. The problems started in 2001 when Bush removed the regulations on banks’ lending power. The biggies, not Fannie and Freddie, started lending recklessly, which led to the current dilemma. Some people are so partisan they will deny any wrongdoing by their Party because blame is more important to them than either the truth or the caliber of our society.
tek…blaming Clinton and Carter is truth, period. I really am starting to think that the only way this country can survive is to knock out the party system. It’s one thing to be a member of one party or another, but it’s another to totally rewrite history just because you hate the other party. Just by definition, the GOP wouldn’t have pushed Fannie and Freddie. It’s pitiful welfare and free houses for people who won’t pay their mortgages. When in God’s name did that become a big agenda for the GOP?
It really isn’t truth. The community reinvestment act (I assume that’s what you’re referring to) did not remotely cause the problem.
“did not remotely cause the problem”??? No, it directly caused the problem.
Uhhh, James, as Andrew says…”it directly caused the problem” and is a large part of why we are in the crapper now. Do you read?
It really didn’t. Study the economics of the situations and you will see too. The CRA does not apply to institutions making the majority of subprime loans. 80% of these loans were offered by financial institutions that were NOT products of the CRA or subject to federal regulation set by Clinton or Carter policy.
It is true that bad loans to low income communities was a direct cause to the housing collapse, but you miss the distinction. The loans given due to the CRA were not high-priced loans, but responsible credit opportunities given to those communities abandoned by banked. The community banks are actually doing quite well.
Giving people the access to credit to buy a home is a great way to allow poor people to build wealth over time. The CRA is largely a success, although it always needs improvements, it did not cause the problem.
James, I don’t agree. There is actually a Dateline NBC special on tonight - “Inside the Financial Fiasco: The Mortgage Crisis” (How risky home loans helped cause a chaing reaction that led to the failures on Wall Street). I’m going to watch it. But I believe 100% that you are wrong about this one, and that yet another welfare program trashed us.
Absolutely, risky home loans caused the housing collapse, but the loans specifically from the CRA were not part of the problem. That’s my point. The CRA is one of the few governments programs that have allowed poor people to move into the middle class by building wealth through home ownership.
James…welfare crap that trashed the country. Period. It’s just not right for some honest people to RENT homes, until they can AFFORD TO PAY FOR THEM, while others get a free ride on their backs. That’s ridiculous and un-American. Here’s what we do in America…we get a job, work, save our money, make a down payment, and pay our mortgages monthly. We don’t hand out free houses for deadbeats.
They’re not given free houses. They work out a deal with community banks and pay mortgages with interest rates just like everyone else. These people have jobs and work hard. Let’s not exaggerate here. Under CRA rules, there are restrictions on income, credit, and home prices. Meaning no way someone with a low income will be allowed to buy a $500,000+ home, or even a 200,000 home. Very modest opportunities here that are fair and reasonable.
No James, they gave the houses away because the were threatened to face steep fines if the didn’t give the houses away. Please get real. This is all documented truth and fact. I can’t discuss this revisionist history anymore. It destroyed my country and I hope they all get evicted and rent until they can buy houses like every other decent, hardworking taxpayer who has been made to suffer. This is ridiculous crap.
Again James, larger banks like WaMu and Chase bought up as many of those loans as they could get their hands on, letting small banks off the hook. The CRA is one of the best examples of the magnitude that unintended consequences can obtain as a force of destruction.
C & C
Wake up! You mean Carter and Clinton caused this Bushian Economic Mess? Come on. Who implemented the DEGERULATION that brought us into this disaster? The BUSH-CHENEY DICTATORSHIP.
As result Cheny and Bush’s fortunes are hidden in Saudi Arabia and offshore funds and their take from the unwarranted War on Iraq cost taxpayers billions! And still does. The current Moron in Residency, Obamma did not cause this disaster. He inherited it!
And for you to blame Carter and Clinton shows your utter bias. You had eight bloddy years with Bush idiocies and macho-adventures that you are and willl be paying for!
Go to FOX for your Bushian neanderthal neocon fix!
Usually if you have to say you’re usually factual, you usually aren’t…Read this site for the past year, and facts have never been its strongsuit…Especially yours and Larry’s, both of you have been proven to be dishonest liars over and over again…Larry because he’s dumb, you because you’re a racist little girl
And you, are just another Obama john.
quit using oxygen
John-the-Obutt….and exactly what lies would those be that were told by Larry and Susan? Thought so.
I do not worship false idols.
Stop taking up needed space, useless.
Camp Obutt has dispatched a rather large Obutt Brigade ever since 0Zero stuck his hoof in his mouth on Leno.
Obutt…
LMAO.
Hooves-it’s what’s for dinner.
That’s how he keeps his fab figure…
Say Bye Bye John. Your insults are not welcomed nor warranted.
John
You are such an Obamabotic little basement-dweller, sweetie!
Blaming Larry for your cluelessness in supporting a Ventriloquist’s Dummy @ the White House is no excuse for your skipping off mom-and-pop’s rental arrangements….grow up! Are you punch drunk?
So now we have the outline of Obambi’s reelection campaign. With Clinton it was the economic recovery he engineered; with Bush it was going to be Iraq, and he figured out how to make it work for him; now its the economic recovery again for Obambi. He’s going to spend as much money as he can get away with to gin up growth with out a care for the future past 4 years from now (just like Bush) so he can run on Reagan’s slogan of ‘Are you better off now than 4 years ago?’ But what a gigantic gamble it all is, just like Bush’s Iraq invasion, only bigger. Let’s hope he gets thrown out for his Kenyan birth before the mid-terms.
They (the Obama opposition) says the “Tea Parties” are growing by leaps and bounds.
Trillions of dollars is too much for anyone to manage. There are only a handful of countries that have a higher GDP than that. Heck, he could have created paradise in countless countries with that kind of money. But the way it is now, there’s no way that it can have the desired effect in the US.
Obama is in WAY over his head. No one can handle trillions of dollars.
Hell, his teleprompter is smarter.
His plan is not to have a plan. The plan is to let Wall St via the Fed, Treasury and that ridiculous Larry Summers do whatever the they want while he talks out of both sides of his mouth. Obama spent his entire Senate career sucking up in NY to the money people at dinner parties on the weekends and droning on and on about how fabulous they and he were. They paid for his presidential run. It is quite easy to use a narcissist if you know that is what they are.
Beebop, I agree, although there was a pimp. They just call it an “agency”.
Perspective of which no one has reported on regarding he crunch and Obama.
People forget Obama’s major initial funder was the CROWN famil?
People forget the the Crown family are major stock holders of JPMorgan Chase & Co and General Dybanics (but lets just talk about JPMorgan Chase & Co for now) that bought Bear Stearns for a song and a dance last year and reaped from over $25 billion of taxpayer money?
People forget that JPMorgan Chase & Co developed the first prepaid Chase Mastercard?
Anyone wonder why NBC never talks about JPMorgan Chase & Co and thus JPMorgan Chase & Co is basically left untouched in this mess? Well when your landlord is the Crown family, even NBC will keep its mouths shut!
Anyone who thinks Obama is not following orders from the Crown’s is only fooling themselves, thus the diversions Obama is so good at doing to keep focus off of the core relations, as with Ayers and the rest of Obama’s Chicago thieve like Prinzker who still owns fines of $460 million and is a financial advisor to Obama. It is all about the money folks, Obama’s friends money!
I have a different take. I think that 0Bama is going to try to get Wall St to buy the toxic assets of the “bad banks”, and Wall St will say, “No way. We trusted you, we elected you, we thought you would work w/ us, but you’ve screwed up so badly already that we’re not going to get involved with the mess you’ve created.”
Wall Street knows total incompetence when it sees it.
We are so screwed. I weep for my country.
Did anyone watch 60 min? was this left in? President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, touching off “an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.”
His remarks came in a “60 Minutes” interview in which he was pressed by an incredulous Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the world’s economy.
“You’re sitting here. And you’re— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, ‘I mean, he’s sitting there just making jokes about money—’ How do you deal with— I mean: explain. . .” Kroft asks at one point.
“Are you punch-drunk?” Kroft says.
“No, no. There’s gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama says, with a laugh.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0309/20339.html
Every day it gets worse, just 100 times worse…0Fraudo is so embarrassing…Ughhhh…”Punch Drunk?” No, that would be CRACK….
thanks for the link. read the post and went in to read others assessment and guess what, the site is “Currently Down for Maintenance”. Hah! No doubt the server got swamped with comments and probably crashed. I guess we’ll know tomorrow what happened, eh?
Lyn–I shuddered at the cavalier way he talked about the global crisis. For the first time, I saw him as a wienie that Wall Street laughs at. He’s a loser for sure.
We are the southside Chicagoans he represented whose public housing he allowed to deteriorate to sub-standard conditions while he helped his friends, Revko for one, and himself.
arran
Frightening indeed….terrific analogy here…we the Chicagoans with deteriorating houses, hospitals and no Rezko to take care of us, eh?
SusunUnpC, Thank You.
For sometime I had been wondering if BO would clean house of the Bush appointees, and start fresh and if he had the cojones to do it.
The answer is a big NO!
It never entered my mind that he would strongly embrace the status quo in such a way as to be required to redifine waht “normal” is.
BO is so unable to give intelligent details as his economic policy, I would be happy if he said it was, “forty dollars and a mule” at this point.
BO is such a retro-reconstructionist.
Thanks for clearing that up for me so well.
Punch Drunk would explain the KOOL AID..
