[BONUS: Tim Geithner's China Foot-In-Mouth Moment] MEP: The devalued PM of a devalued Government

BELOW THE FOLD: Tim Geithner’s astoundingly unAmerican and patently STUPID statement today sends shockwaves around the world, and among ALL Americans who have fought for this country!

Original: This is one of the HOTTEST VIDEOS out there! Enjoy (or become enraged!) … and perhaps you can think of another politician to whom such a speech might be spoken???

NOW, GEITHNER’S GAFFE EXPOSURE OF HOW LITTLE HE CARES ABOUT THIS NATION!

SECRETARY GEITHNER: WE CANNOT ENTRUST OUR “TREASURE” TO YOU. You must go. You are not a patriot, sir. You are speaking to patriotic Americans who are paying for that TRICK — THAT STUNT — you pulled with the “toxic assets” plan that, as Paul Krugman vehemently pointed out, will cost American taxpayers around “$1 TRILLION” — all of it going to major companies, not to the people WHO ARE THE ONES paying for it!!!

AND: Are we all calling our representatives and senators every day? And e-mailing them constantly? They need to hear from us! They won’t read our e-mails to each other!

And, what else say you?

SURPRISE BONUS: LatinaFreedomFighter e-mailed me this video!

Amen.

As a follow-up, Susan, you might post Bolton’s comments on Glenn Beck regarding the loss of our country to the “World Government”. I haven’t been a fan of either but that is changing.

We need our public educated. On the heels of this global currency comment from Timmy this is a real threat hiding in plain sight.

The Dems have really lost it now:

Threats to AIG: “We Will Get Your Children”

“Get the bonus, we will get your children,” someone identified only as “Jacob the Killer” hauntingly writes in an e-mail.

The Patriot Act will take care of that bozo..making terroristic threats is illegal now. I hope they nail him to the wall with it.

There are no terrorists now. Just man made disasters.

You know what though? At some point, the only thing that may stop the corporate robber barons from destroying this country will be people who get fed up and take up arms against them. It’s a natural consequence, and these people have been without consequence for a long time now.

Bottom line: I am not sorry for ANY corporate bigwig at AIG who is getting death threats right now. These guys have raped our country and the bad karma they are getting is their own damn fault.

Comment by Ellen D | 2009-03-25 21:31:27

Bad karma is different from death threats.

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2009-03-25 22:01:00

No, it’s not.

These people chose to work for an organization and be complicit in a system that was out of integrity and cheating regular people out of their money, whether by encouraging bad loans or pocketing taxpayer dollars.

I’m not saying they deserve death for it, but the fear they are under right now is their karma.

Did you happen to read the letter to Liddy from an AIG in the NYT today? Not all of them are crooks. The lynch-mob mentality is not really good for American.

Comment by barry bums a ciggie | 2009-03-25 22:33:23

I often thought that if I were the AIG execs, the 5 remaining ones, I would NOT be bullied to give back the money but instead I would give it to charity. And that is what the EVP of AIG Santis is doing. He said he would not be coerced into giving his money back…he will give whatever is left after they tax the hell out of it to charities who help families in this downturn. That dog and pony show last week was truly truly disturbing. And guess what folks, the busload of protesters that showed up at the execs homes were paid for by SEIU and ACORN. That’s right, ACORN. In other words, rent-a-mob.

Comment by CarlyinNJ | 2009-03-25 22:44:08

PeBO’s Rent A Mob to be percise; sad that the ACORN folks are being used too and like all good BOTS they just don’t see it.

Comment by Lyn | 2009-03-26 16:47:36

OF course Obama and company turned the anger to the guys that got the bonuses, because they couldn’t have the people mad at the politicians that wrote the bail out or voted for the stim bill wihtout signing it.

I do think Liddy should have stood up for his workers and explained the bonuses better.

Comment by elise | 2009-03-26 02:48:36

The congress has turned into an asylum for the ethically challenged and the hysterical, outrage last week was a performance of fools. Grassley advised the execs to commit Harri Kari and the rest of the drooling fools deliberately tried to stir up the anger against Wall Street so that we will be distracted from their insanity. It is a great tragedy some think violence against four or five people will solve our problems. Aside from respect for life over the material, violence itself could halt legitimate protests and defeat any real reform. This may be ACORNS purpose since they seem to be profiting from the economic crisis. Back OT, one has to wonder why Geithner would make such a bizarre statement unless this is the “plan” and what Biden warned us about weeks ago.

Comment by Lyn | 2009-03-26 16:43:01

I agree and I’m glad that guy posted his letter to the NYT, I would be angry If I worked for 1 dollar and was told if I stayed the year I’d get paid and that happened to me.

Comment by tek | 2009-03-26 09:43:09

In France executives who took bonuses are being held hostage by the workers! No wonder these people are disguising themselves and sneaking in and out of their homes.

It’s sad to me that England is in the same bad shape as the U. S. I really thought they had more sense.

What do I say, Susan? I want Daniel Hannan to apply for US citizenship.

He’s saying in this very pointed rant what the vast majority of Americans feel and think about the Democratic Party’s insanity. Our Press should be pushing back just as hard as Hannan is doing. But Hannan said today that the Brits are ahead of us in this downward spiral; they are out, completely out of funds. Ironically, he commented that most Brits “wish” that they were in our position, with a chance to veer their economic course.

And yet the spending beat goes on. This is another vid that I hope goes viral. Once you hear it, you know the man is speaking the truth.

Unless you’re braindead, of course.

I thought the quote was, “You can’t spend your way out of a recession or borrow your way out of debt.”

Comment by CMartin | 2009-03-25 22:09:44

It’s important to realize that this is not really a Dem problem. It’s bipartisan. Deregulation for decades had been primarily a GOP policy. Dem *leadership* recently started accepting more and more deregulation as standard operating procedure. The problem is systemic and goes beyond party leaders and includes the mainstream media.

Why did the media and Wall Street want Obama over Hillary? Probably because he was going to be a continuation of GOP monetary and regulatory policy while Hillary was not.

BTW, claiming some nutjob who makes death threats represents all Democrats is as absurd as claiming all GOPers want to bomb abortion clinics and join the KKK. Freaks are freaks and should be appropriately marginalized.

Comment by Peggy Sue | 2009-03-26 00:50:08

Agreed, CMartin. This problem is on both sides of the aisle. We can point fingers until we’re blue in the face. But the fact remains: we’ve been sold out by Dems and Republicans alike. I’ve been a Democrat all my life, but I’m without a party now.

Color me an American. It’s good enough for me. I vote for viable candidates from now on. The party-system is dead to me, period.

Hannan was also pro-0zero last year…and now??? Hmm. When asked by Cavuto what he saw in 0zero knowing that he was pro- large government, the guy said that having a half-black president was good for American’s image. Whaattttt? That’s the qualification for leadership? Fools, all of them. However, I give him an A+ for this rant.

Comment by Oisafraud | 2009-03-25 23:06:35

If only we in America had men and women just like Hannan who stood up to those in power who are raping our country!
Instead we have a bunch of cowards in congress and the senate who would rather go with the flow, business as usual, rob from every American who makes less than average and those who can least afford it, the poor.
Why in the hell must we be stuck with those who will neither speak up for us or vote the way we, their constituents, want them too? Instead the winners are those who can contribute the most to campaigns, or offer the best perks.
Our forefathers would roll over in their graves if they knew what was happening to our country and our Constitution, hardly recognizable anymore is it?
I have always been against guns, but I do understand now why so many are purchasing them. I don’t want to be living in a country where the Obama militia’s can carry guns, but the average American cannot. I will protect myself from the likes of those who would seek to harm us or our country.
I will cling to my religion, but my gun will be there to protect me from the likes of Obama and this mad Obama-land he still thinks resembles the country he stole from us in November.

E.U. President Blasts U.S. Spending
Czech Premier Calls Obama Administration’s Economic Policies ‘a Road to Hell’

Members of the European Parliament vote on a package of bills. The Czech prime minister’s comments about U.S. policies angered some legislators. (Christian Lutz - AP)

BERLIN, March 25 — The president of the European Union on Wednesday ripped the Obama administration’s economic policies, calling its deficit spending and bank bailouts “a road to hell.”

The comments by Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek of the Czech Republic, which holds the E.U.’s rotating presidency, startled some U.S. and European officials, who are preparing for President Obama’s visit next month to several European cities, including Prague, the Czech capital.

In an address to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, Topolanek abandoned diplomatic niceties and blasted Washington for approving a $787 billion economic stimulus package, which he said encouraged “protectionist” trade policies. He said the overall U.S. strategy for ending the recession would flood global markets with too many dollars and lead to bigger problems.

“All of these steps, these combinations and permanency, is the road to hell,” Topolanek said. “The United States did not take the right path.”

Another little goodie on the press conference.

These “Internationalists” have already seduced Russia and China by promising them the wealth of other lesser nations and the continuations of their dictatorships to President Hu Jintao in China and Vladimir Putin in Russia if they agree to this “new global reserve currency” they have been planning to replace the dollar.

J.D. Rockefeller who was a member of this group of elitists once said, ”

But what is Brack Obama planning to do? Is he already planning to agree to this new global reserve currency? How will Americans react? Won’t the Americans protest against the loss of their sovereignty and Democracy?

This Threat to America is Real.

It is so real that Obama told a prime-time televised news conference, “I don’t believe that there’s a need for a global currency,” , adding that the dollar is “extraordinarily strong right now”.

In a congressional hearing on Capitol Hill, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, a Minnesota Republican, asked U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner: “Would you categorically renounce the United States moving away from the dollar and going to a global currency as suggested this morning by China and also by Russia, Mr Secretary?”

Geithner replied, “I would, yes.”

She posed the same question to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, who said: “I would also.”

Now, Obama used the word “need” in his statement which leaves it open to the suggestion that if America “needed” to move to a global currency it may be in the cards.

Why would Obama leave this option open like this? Why wouldn’t he just say “never”?

God, I used to get upset when the Cons would call Democrats socialists and communists and in the past it was a lie, but this bunch–The New Democrats under Obama–are certainly beginning to look like they fit the accusation.

I oppose Geithner’s plan to seize hedge funds or whatever because I’m tired of the government using catastrophes to augment power. We’ll never get the balance of power back from the Bush years and now this administration is trying to increase executive power even more. I knew that’s what they were up to.

It’s refreshing to see a politician who really is a good speaker - and not a teleprompter in sight. I’ve no idea if he’s right but the eloquence of his argument makes me want to find out more. It would appear that the Brits go for competence over hope in picking their candidates sometimes.

Comment by Docelder | 2009-03-26 11:16:10

It is apparent that man could run circles around 90% of our elected congress and senate… not to mention our President. That wouldn’t even be a contest. Common sense and eloquence from the heart and not recited from a “teleprompter” after you have weighed the words with some focus group. The AIG employee said it again in the other thread… we don’t get the best leaders… we get the leaders who are the best at raising money and promoting themselves. The rest of us be damned along with any long term interests of this nation… provided we even have that long a time left to worry about.

It is not like they represent the people of their states anymore. Both parties have failed the people and the country. Neither party is in America’s best interest.
