[Fox News Video Updates] Rep. Thaddeus McCotter Fights For His State’s Auto Industry and Workers

This man (who rocks, really) is hitting the nation’s air waves non-stop today to fight for his state and its primary industry, essential not just for the economy and jobs but also — critically so — for our national security.
Today, Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) is on Cavuto, Fox Business, David Shuster, Lou Dobbs, and CBS. Next, from his press release and his Detroit TV appearance:

Detroit is a last bastion of honor. Earlier this week, the President and the Treasury Secretary met with the Wall Street Chieftains who crashed our credit markets and dragged us to the precipice of a global depression. The White house pledged to work with these Wall Street CEOs who, even now, defend their bonus packages.
“Now, Mr. Wagoner has been asked to resign as a political offering despite his having led GM’s painful restructuring to date. Mr. Wagoner has honorably resigned for the sake of his company’s working families. When will the Wall Street CEO’s receiving TARP funds summon the honor to resign? Will this White House ever bother to raise the issue? I doubt it.”

A brave man indeed. Maybe he should consider running for POTUS in 2012! Of course I really want Hillary, but I doubt she’ll ever be allowed. I’ll be voting for whoever steps up to actually lead so all politicians, take note. I will only hire leaders for my top job. There isn’t a lot of competition these days in that regard. I certainly hope he continues to speak out about this Usurper in Office and others join him.

I really like this guy. He is forceful, articulate, coherent and clearly has passion. I think the Republicans should really look at this guy and consider prepping him for a 2012 run. There is nothing and nobody else in their quiver that looks like someone who can appeal to main street voters. I am not in love with the automakers but I absolutely resonate with the idea that they are a better bet for helping our future than the financial deadbeat criminals from AIG and the other trash in the crevices of Wall St.

What is right for the auto industry is right for the banking industry, why is Obama protecting the banks who can also file bankruptcy, that would have saved the American people trillions of dollars?
Obama is out to destroy our country, he is not an American and certainly is not patriotic! I wish him ill will, I wish him nothing but bad for all the hate, racism, sexism, misogyny, fraud, intimidation tactics, cheating, lying scum that he is.
I wish he were never born, but if he had to be I am glad it was in Kenya. He will never be my president, and when the shit finally hits the fan, he wont be any one’s president. His name will be forever deleted from memory.

Workers say Obama treated Autos worse than Wall Street.
“It’s the age-old Wall Street vs. Main Street smackdown again,” said Brian Fredline, president of UAW Local 602 at a plant near Lansing. “You have all kinds of funding available to banks that are apparently too big to fail, but they’re also too big to be responsible.”
“But when it comes to auto manufacturing and middle-class jobs and people that don’t matter on Wall Street, there are certainly different standards that we have to meet — higher standards — than the financials. That is a double standard that exists and it’s unfair,” Fredline said.
Many workers — not generally known for their affection toward executives — even sympathized with Rick Wagoner, who was forced to step down as chief executive of General Motors Corp. He was by turns called a “sacrificial lamb,” “scapegoat” and “fall guy.”
