The Sweet 16 is in the books and we are down to just 8 contestants left vying for the No Quarter Trophy which is annually awarded to the person you decide is the Biggest Ass on the American Political Landscape. March Madness is always full of surprises and this year is no different. The Number One Seed in the At Large Bracket, MSNBC Hard Ball host Chris Matthews turned out to a softball player. He was no match for the cajones of Donna Brazile. While she appeared to be fading as the tournament started, the DNC terror upped her game and sent Tweety packing 56-44. This sets up a dream matchup in the At Large Regional Final between Brazile and the Number Two Seed Oprah Winfrey. Oprah humiliated Bill “Judas” Richardson 66-34. This bracket final redefines At Large due to the girth of the contestants who can both claim to have the biggest asses in the field.
And what a battle in the Media Bracket. The claws came out and Andrew Sullivan held off a furious charge from Maureen Dowd. The final score 52-48 (just 14 votes). Sullivan now gets to go head-to-head with top seed Keith Olbermann.

Voted the same way except for Oprah over Brazille, primarily because she provided a critical turning point to the Obama campaign through her endorsement.
I wanted to vote for “O” on this for the same reason, but Donna was in on it from the very beginning (years ago) and did her tricks within the DNC. She has been anti-Clinton for ages. Her comments on air and in emails were completly ridiculous and rude.

I voted Oprah because she has a wider range of influence on the public perception of 0. Brazille, is of course, a terrible hag but although she’s a horrible person, her influence doesn’t go much beyond the Dims.

Personally, I think her evil-ness in the primary influenced the outcome of the entire election. I think Hillary would have blown McCain out. But thanks to Brazille’s cheating and “undeclared” lying, she blocked Hillary. So I think she affected the whole country, not just the dems.
Donna also was the one that came up with the idea that voters in the bigger cities (Obama ) would count more than the rest of the areas (the bitter clingers tend to live there) So Donna was the one that ultimatley stacked the deck because the first vote was voted.

Of all the contestants above, it is Pelosi who is running the show. During the primaries, she was instrumental in twisting delegate arms to support BO and now she is setting the tone and tenor of the Obama presidency. She holds the most power and thus deserves the award.
Sullivan is clearly outmatched and has very little chance against a seasoned ass like Olbermann.

For 20 years of my adult life I’ve lived in a state where I’ve never voted for a winner (except our great state auditor Brian Sontag, (D)). I can’t describe how good it feels to be finally four for four. Very fun, fabulous, and fantastic. I’ve found few functions from which I’ve felt finer, or more fulfilled. Only one comes to mind, and it DOES begin with an “F”.

I seem to be in disagreement with most of you..I cannot bear that opportunistic Oprah, threw all her women under a big bus…she NEVER supported any political candidate and when she finally did she did not support a superbly qualified woman and instead backed an inexperienced black man. Years and Years of Oprah shows on female self esteem..out the door!…In my mind, Oprah’s actions were more detrimental than Donna Brazile’s, who is by far the less evolved of the two. Brazile did the dirty work of her party, and if she had not someone else would have…I think that she is heinous, but Oprah is more heinous in my opinion!

Brazile is in a way worse than Pelosi because she was constantly spouting BS and making ridiculous statements on CNN. She still is. Pelosi had more power but wasn’t BSing to us every day.

Donna also came up with the idea that votes in cities counted more than votes in the rest of the areas of states. MANY states Obama won the cities (wether fairly or not) BUT Hillary won all the other counties, and sometime Hillary won all the areas of the state, but because of the way delegates were alloted, Obama would get almost the same amount or even more delegates than Hillary, Which is how she won the Popular vote but not the delegates.

This was much more difficult than I thought it would be. I went with Barack, Pelosi, Olbermann, and Brazile; Which appears to be the trend so far.
I think I chose them, because they seem the most caught up in their own Ass-holiness.
