March Madness turned into April Fools in the battle for the No Quarter Trophy. The Trophy is awarded annually to the person you decide is the Biggest Ass on The American Political Landscape. While exciting play and buzzer beaters are usually the norm this time of the year, the Elite Eight was blow-out city (which is also the name of one of Barney Frank’s favorite watering holes.) Not only were none of the national quarterfinal match-ups close, but the winners had these contests wrapped up moments after the opening tap. VOTE BELOW!.
It certainly seemed like the tournament selection committee knew their business as three number one seeds have made it to the semi-finals. The only non-number 1 to crash the party is the red hot Donna Brazile. The number four seed in the At Large Bracket humiliated the second seeded Oprah Winfrey 75-25. That was the closest of the Regional Finals.
Oprah’s size and weight advantage were just no match for the feisty Brazile who showed during the primary season that she knows how to play and win dirty. Donna now gets a crack at Keith Olbermann who had his way with Andrew Sullivan (and Andrew loved it) in the Media Bracket final. Olbermann was the leading vote getter in the entire round and racked up an 85-15 win. Keith was a huge favorite to make it into the championship game when this tournament started, but no one should be betting against Brazile at this point.
Over on the side of the brackets. Barack Obama easily disposed of the First Lady in the White House Regional Final. The Messiah was an 80-20 winner. It was a disappointing performance for Michelle, whose makeover as “Mom in Chief” seems to be softening the hard as nails image that propelled her through the election season to a number two seed. Barack showed his sharp elbows, when despite the fact he was winning this one going away, he bowed to a Saudi Prince just to run the score up and remind everyone why he was the overall top seed in the tournament. Barry has yet to be tested in this tournament, but may have his hands full with Nancy Pelosi. The number one seed in the Capitol Hill bracket destroyed number three seed Barney Frank 85-15. After the game, Frank immediately made himself eligible for federal bailout funds. Pelosi has faced the stiffest competition so far, already beating Christopher Dodd, Claire McCaskill and Barney. If anyone can take a piece out of the Community Organizer in Chief, it’s Madam Speaker.

I voted for axis sally pelosi due to fact that she does more damage to the country in passing bills that hurt America and stopping bills that help America.
I voted for traitor brazille because she has undermined the election process in America in at least three elections. She has kept America from getting the best and made sure we got the worst.

Man that was tough. Between Barfy and Pelousy, I switched between the two many times before being able to pick one.
The White House bracket was the easiest pick for me. Pelosi has really been a slouch recently and the strain is showing through the botox. Obama all the way on this one IMO. I’m frankly surprised Brazile is making such a good showing. Olbermann has been working hard on his game all season long and, don’t forget, he scored some early points. Brazile is making a good final push, but I still think she’s out of her league.
Between Peloski and Obama was a bit hard.
The reason why if that I have this sinking feeling in my gut that obama is just a puppet with Peloski, Kennedy and a few others pulling the strings. I mean look at this guy he’s not even smart enough to make a speech or speak about any subject that he has studied without a teleprompter. I dont think he really even knows what was in any of the bills he has been supporting.
You are right, KintheNorthwest. I became aware in February 2008, before Super Tuesday, of the fact Nancy Pelosi was heavily involved in getting the nomination for BO. The first clue came when it was announced that Pelosi’s closest confidant, a congressMAN (don’t remember his name) had endorsed BO. Shocked, I started to pay more attention to what Pelosi was saying in interviews. While she did not come right out and say she was for BO, everything, and I do mean everything, she said was hand and glove with 0’s candidacy, including a book her daughter wrote and went on a book tour with during 2008.
The daughter used themes from the Obama campaign, but like her mother lied about being uncommitted. Pelosi said nothing in support of Hillary unless she was specifically asked about “the woman” running. Then, she would give smoozing type statements only to come right back to things like, “it’s a delegate race”, knowing full well the problems that were going on in the all-out wars in the fraudulent caucuses, the problems with FL and MI, and doing absolutely nothing. She never admitted to sexism in the campaign, did not defend or give credit to Hillary in her valant David And Goliath fight.
I remembered when Pelosi first became Speaker of the House she had dissed CA Rep Jane Harmon from her own state who was in line for an appointment Pelosi was to make. Instead, P. gave it to an AA man. It was then that I started to wonder about Pelosi’s commitment to women.
The more I looked into it, I realized Pelosi and Howard Dean had decided in 2005 to “make” him the nominee. After BO’s 2004 speech to the Dem Nat’l Conv that was widely reported how democrats were literally salivating at the thought of this *brilliant* (God help us all) young AA running for POTUS. He was just then running for the US Senate. Pelosi as Speaker and Dean as Chirman of the DNC were determined to win the 2008 election come hell or high water, even if they had to steal it. After all, the republicans stole it in 2000 and they were determined to get revenge.
When the June 2008 Atlantic.Com article was published by Joshua Green on his February interviews about Obama’s “Amazing Money Machine,” that convinced me. According to that article, Pelosi introduced BO to Hummer Winblad and Mark Gorenberg, the company doing Pelosi’s “Take Back Congress” campaign fundraising in 2006. 0 knew nooooothing about raising money since the most he had ever raised was about $100K. Nor was he high teck. It all came from that Silicone Valley venture capitalist company.
Therefore, Pelosi is guilty of selecting and getting this neophyte nominated and elected. Yes, BO went along with it, but, on his own, he would have fallen flat on his face. It is no wonder Hillary’s campaign thought it would all be over February 5th, Super Tuesday. She had no clue that this *&%$*&%$#@! had (1)the entire democratic leadership support and these were the architects for his campaign. (a)Dean, Brazile, and several other DNC members had taken SC Rep Clyburn’s advice and moved the SC Primary so that it was the second primary contest, a state with 60% AA voter registration and they made sure they got 91% of that vote for B0. (2)Hillary’s campaign did not know they had B0’s campaign laid out for him at least by 2006, using the 50 State strategy to justify their decision to “put resources” (busloads of out-of-state people to run up their delegate count). They accomplished this with the help and leadership of George Soros “MoveOn.Org” and his $millions he infused into this separate campaign in fraudulent caucuses in republican red state, when the other dems including Hillary did not.
(3)Hillary also did not know that Pelosi had arranged for a company in her SF district, Hummer Winblad, to be the fundraiser for B0. *Someone* advised him to use the first money raised by this company in 2007 to pay off the Super Delegates with $5-$11K for each of their campaigns.
So if anybody doubts which one of these two are the biggest asses, just consider all of the above. This is why B0 can act so humble. He has not done the heavy lifting in anything since his 2004 fairy tale began, the biggest night of his life.
Wow–great information that here, some of which I had blocked out and some of which I had never heard.
Don’t forget that Brazille changed the DNC Rulz in 2004 so that AA votes had more weight than other votes resulting in the scenario that led to Hillary garnering more votes but fewer delegates in places like TX and NV.

I agree choosing the bigger slime was difficult. hmk_me made a very valid point that Pelosi could do more harm by passing bad bills, but I had to give my vote to Obama because his long term goal seems to be to reduce America to some kind of apologetic houseboy for Europe. That’s not the America I grew up in and it’s not the America I want for my children.

I had to go with Obama, and this is the only way that man will ever get my vote. It was a difficult choice between Brazille and Olbermann. He gets to influence America on a nightly basis, but if it weren’t for Brazilles’ role in the DNC fiasco, I don’t think we would be stuck with Obama today.

Olberman is a run of the mill asshole. Donna Brazile is a new entity entirely. She almost single-handedly manipulated the nomination in favor of Obama.
She made numerous insane comments, sent bizarre e-mails to numerous people, made predictions worthy of Prof. Trelawney (blood in the streets if Obama didn’t win), stold a blanket and claimed that now that Obama was president she would not be prosecuted for theft, and clowned around on TV pretending to be a pundit. America loves an underdog, and I admire the come-from-behind winner, Donna Brazile. She sets a new standard for assholery.
I could walk into any bar in NYC and find a Keith Olberman clone. KO is a stereotypical aging frat boy. Donna Brazile is the next big thing.

Olbermann didn’t change the DNC rules to give more weight to the city voters than the rural ones to help Obama, that was Donna. and Olby didn’t go on tv as a DNC leader and pretend to be unbiased, but was one of the first to say as an AA Bill Clinton saying fairtale was racist(again Donna) and Olby didn’t help with the RBC farce where they STOLE Hillary’s delegates and gave them to Obama (guess who that was) and Olbermann NEVER said IF SDs over rule the Dem voters to choose the nominee I will quit the party, (but then stayed when the SDs decided Barky would be it, and lastly Olberman didn’t send emails to Hillary supporteres and call them evil and racist and vile …yep that was good old Donna stop the hate Brazille

Almost impossible. But I did vote for 0 and Donna…because I’m racist and all. Difficult choices though since I can’t stand to see/listen to any of them and either hit the mute button or change the channel when they’re on.
