Raising children & having one child can actually can be harder than having 2…. a single child needs attention and as a result will automatically go to the parents, 2 children are able to go to each other so the pressure in some circumstances is a little easier for parents of more than one child!

I would like to see her pick an issue she’s passionate about–and it isn’t military families, which she has pretended to care about, but that’s a lotta hooey pr bunk in my opinion, being a veteran–and take a stand on it.

She’s letting them package her as a fashion icon at the moment, why I cannot imagine, since it should insult her.

But then, I guess, if you’re a shallow person, you like to preen and sing “I feel pretty, Oh so pretty…” and be on the covers of magazines, instead of having to do hard work in service to some principle.

April Ratings: FNC Beats CNN and MSNBC Combined
How’s this for cable news domination – Fox News beat CNN and MSNBC combined in every hour from 6am ET to Midnight ET in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo for April 2009.

FNC had the top 11 cable news programs in Total Viewers and 12 of the top 15 in the demo. FNC is the #2 network in Total Viewers on all of cable.

From 9amET on, every program grew by more than 60% in the demo. The 5pmET hour, now occupied by Glenn Beck, is up 212% in the demo and up 128% in Total Viewers. Your World with Neil Cavuto is up 102% in the demo and up 60% in Total Viewers. On the Record with Greta Van Susteren is up 75% in demo and up 55% in Total Viewers. Also in demo: FOX Report is up 75%, Special Report 70%, The O’Reilly Factor 74% and Hannity 64%.

Fox & Friends has now been #1 for 90 consecutive months, Studio B with Shepard Smith for 80 consecutive months.

They can homogenize MO all they want, but you can’t take out the natural hate, selfishness, and racist feelings she brings with her.

The truth is, we have four years of watching a Hollywood production ahead of us. He can’t lead, so they have to constantly distract and have him make speeches. He has to make speeches because it’s the only way he can sound as if he actually understands what he’s talking about.

Can you imagine the result if they just let the two of them be who they really are? You’d have dumbelina standing around flapping his ears while Sherah, goddess of destruction, runs around torching everything in sight.

I’m more interested in seeing Michelle Obama be an advocate for some important issue, or constituency. I’d like to see her be a working first lady in the sense that she might have an abiding passion for something OTHER THAN LOOKING PRETTY.

I would hate to see the first lady advocating shallow principles to young women…especially since she’s smart, educated, and capable of making a huge difference in people’s lives.

Oddly enough, five months ago, he and Chris Hitchens of Vanity Fair were going to town on what an awful SoS appointment Hillary Clinton would be. Hitchens called her a ‘ludicrous embarrassment’ and Matthews said ‘why does Obama want the drama.’ Meanwhile, she is getting higher marks than anyone in his cabinet for revitalizing the State Dept. and being such a team player and has a popularity even higher than the Pres. when last checked. It’s not a competition, by the way — but I just find it funny that these kinds of guys do get traction with some viewers even though what they say it totally bogus.

There are still a lot of people out there who get their talking points from boobs with attitudes like his. And if you find him irrelevant, MrMike, that’s great.

Maybe the Obamas are hoping to be an example for a positive message to build strong black families in this country

is that most black women don’t have the luxury of being stay-at-home moms. They have to work to feed their children. If Michelle wanted to help black women, she would work on something to their benefit, such as helping them get better educations so they can get better jobs, making damn sure they get paid the same as the men doing the same jobs, getting funding for day care so they can have a place to safely leave their young children when they are at work, after school programs to keep the older kids occupied until Mom gets home. Flouncing around in false eyelashes and tacky clothes doesn’t do anything for anyone.
