At that point in her life (the Princeton years), she needed to identify with a group first instead of being part of the human experience. That's not so different from other twenty-somethings. But, her heart was attracted to negativity rather than positive relationship building with the rest of the students. It will remain to be seen how much she's matured beyond her radical roots. The media is trying to polish the chip on her shoulder, but while pop culture will embrace it as change, the critical thinkers will still be viewing her with a rather skeptical eye. The thesis is a starting point to get to know Michelle Obama, whom the taxpayers are supporting. Sad, really. That is one scary azz picture of MO at the beginning of the page!
