Open Thread * The Incorrigible Nocturnal Warrior: Tonight at 9 p.m.!

The Nocturnal WarriorWe’re proud (always proud) to promote the One & Only Nocturnal Warrior on No Quarter Radio. Warrior’s a real-life radio pro whose show is as humorous as it’s entertaining, with top-drawer professional production values.

Tune in to NQR tonight — 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET! Join the live chat and call in to the show via (347) 677-0792.

The Warrior e-mailed me, and revealed tonight’s plans …

Tonight on the Nocturnal Warrior Show we will continue our serious discussion about comedy. What you can and cannot get away with. (Don’t miss the show open where we break a taboo and make fun of a terminally ill woman). We’ll have the highlights (or is that low lights) from the Correspondent’s Dinner. Be prepared to tell us who you think are the best comics working today.

We will also look at the Obama spending plan and the impending deficits, which would be funny if they weren’t real, the death of the newspaper industry (the only thing left in the paper worthwhile is the comics) and we will all say a prayer that John and Elizabeth Edwards will just go away.

Join the Warrior, Puma Pam and Jay at 9:00 PM Eastern on No Quarter Radio. The chat room will be open and you can be a part of the show by dialing in at (347) 677-0792.

NOC, Thought about the best comdian of the day and for the life of me I couldn’t think of one…what does that say?

The country has lost it’s sense of humor? Or is just me?

I had the same problem Teak. As much as I love Chris Rock and still think he is on top of his game, when he gets to the Barack love it is hard to take.

Bill Maher lost me forever with his Hillary attacks.

John Stewart still does a good standup routine, but isn’t on the road that often.

Boy, do we miss George Carlin.

Jerry Seinfeld still strong, but past his prime.

I can’t stand Dane Cook.

Keep thinking. We’ll find someone to laugh at.
