Amazingly, There Is Even More On ACORN

Just when you think there cannot possibly be more hidden agendas with ACORN and the people who are affiliated with it, something else turns up. I stumbled onto this video while looking for something else entirely: I don’t usually watch Glenn Beck, but the title sure grabbed my attention:

Holy moley. Teresa Heinz Kerry is a BIG contributor of a foundation whose director secretly paid off the funds embezzled by one of ACORN’s founders?? Hmmmm. I have to say, I think Glenn is right – they have some ’splaining to do.

But did you notice what other organization was listed beside that one office building of ACORN’s? That’s right – the SEIU, the very union that just held CA hostage with the help of their puppet, Obama. Yes, they were the ones who went complaining to Obama that The Governator was going to trim back some of their wages in an effort to keep CA from going belly-up. In return, Obama threated the Governator with cutting off any more Federal funds to CA if he continued to mess with Obama’s posse. Oh, the plot just continues to thicken, doesn’t it?

For an excellent recap of just how closely Obama is linked with ACORN, I recommend this article by SusanUnPC at No Quarter, “A Damning Expose of Obama, ACORN, and the New York Times.”

But don’t forget Barney Frank. No doubt, the reason the intrepid reporter was trying to get Frank to comment on investigating ACORN was Frank’s attempts to funnel BILLIONS – that’s not a typo – BILLIONS of your tax-paying dollars to ACORN. Uh, yeah.

In the words of Sir Walter Scott, “Oh, what a twisted web we weave when first we practice to deceive…” And there is sure a lot of deception going on when it comes to Obama, ACORN, SEIU, Frank, and the list goes on…Some change, huh?

I am convinced ACORN is the reason Hillary Clinoton lost some primaries to that Obama. But you can only have good Karma for so long. Obama tricks will be his downfall.

KmX…thank you for hitting the nail squarely…”what goes around, comes around”…”as ye sow, so shall ye also reap”…”the engineer is hoist on his own petard” and so on. However we say it,it will prove true. But keep your powdre dry in the interim…

I concur. Moreover, in the caucus states the reported bullying would seem to go hand-in-hand with the fraudulent registration practices.

That being said, I do hope you are correct in that his tricks will be his downfall.

Comment by FranSC | 2009-05-26 01:39:09

I hope you are right about the Karma, reaping what you sow, etc. However, Obama’s illigitimate win of the nomination and ge is so multi-faceted with no interconnections to each other that it is hard to imagine that someone or some entity could possibly tackle the whole thing. Not only was there ACORN and the caucus fraud that played a role in every single caucus, there was also the history-making fundraising, 76% of which were the $1,000 or more contributions that included foreign money, with some coming even from the middle east.

The Rules & Bylaws committee meeting on May 29, 2008 that set a shocking precedent by disenfranchising voters, giving B0 delegates from Hillary that he did not win that represented 500,000+ voters who voted for Hillary.

The race-baiting and race card playing on a regular basis by elected leaders – Jesse Jackson Jr, Rep. James Clyburn, SC, Donna Brazile of the DNC and many, many others.

Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, and Howard Dean, Chairman of the DNC both worked against the front runner, Hillary, to make sure she did not win. Others include the former Clinton White House defectors – Rham Emanuel, Joe Klein, Susan Rice plus many others.

The ground breaking media bias that was ‘in your face’. Then there was George Soros and his $40Million he threw into MoveOn.org that organized the caucuses, took them over and made sure there were comfortable margins for B0. MoveOn.org also used the text messaging to get people to the rallies – that’s how they got the thousands and thousands there.

All of these facets were rooted in illegal, immoral, and unethical acts that should not go unpunished.

This is a great tape. And Barney Frank, justifying his refusal to investigate ACORN by insisting, President Bush gave a million dollars a year to ACORN for housing counseling and, unless the reporter pointed specifically to ACORN’s mismanagement of these funds channeled by President Bush then, he saw no need for inquiry. (I will distribute this link to local outlets.)

Comment by Nellie | 2009-05-25 11:17:57

Thank you for your willingness to distribute the video.

What I have done is contact my Congressperson. I sent him the link to RBO’s ACORN reader, links from NQ and the link to the blog of former ACORN staffers for “bedtime reading” about these crooks for his “enlightment”.

As I live alone, and do not allow criminals and thugs into my home, I formally requested that my congressman send me the census form with the appropriate envelope to mail it back.

I closed with advising my congress person that I would work and vote against anyone who voted to give ACORN funds.

If everyone writes to request the census form from their congress person, with prepaid postage for return, then there is no need for ACORN people at all. Of course the additional burden of the postal costs will be because the Census was not being done traditionally, and by law, via the Commerce Department and responsibility will be laid at Obama’s feet.

Comment by jbjd | 2009-05-25 11:37:52

My Congressperson is Barney Frank. My U.S. Senators are Kennedy and Kerry (whose wife, Theresa Heinz, of the ketchup fortune, gave millions to the Woods Fund, which paid off Radke’s embezzlement of ACORN funds…).

jbjd,

I left a long comment at your blog.

Then the request for the census forms will make the point where it needs to be made. As well as the comments and links about ACORN. Perhaps if the Senators and Congresspersons get lots of these requests, citing ACORN as the reason, then maybe the light will dawn on them that ACORN is not a trustworthy organization. It’s worth a try, right?

Rev. Amy…..I had to laugh out loud when you wrote “I don’t usually watch Glenn Beck”. I laughed because that’s the way many of us feel. We’re all reading and watching people we wouldn’t have last year. But now we have to get the truth wherever we can find it.
And Glenn is one of the few talking about ACORN. Like Hannity was the only one talking about Bill Ayers ( btw, does Ayers have an alibi for 3 a.m. this morning? The Starbucks on the Upper east Side?)
Thank you, Rev. Amy, as always, for you vigilance!

Comment by CamdenRave | 2009-05-25 11:34:59

What makes you think you get the truth from Hannity or Beck? Have they changed or have you changed?

Comment by imustprotest | 2009-05-25 11:47:11

I tell you what changed for me. My party, the Democratic Party died on May 31, 2008. Democracy died. I don’t really trust any news org. I lived through the disaster caused by the ACORN thugs so I know that at least on this issue, Beck is correct.

Comment by lorac | 2009-05-25 15:21:13

I want to wear something like a black armband on the 31st – and tell anyone who asks exactly what happened the day democracy died.

Comment by Benjamin Franklin Berfle | 2009-05-25 18:35:25

A black armband is a good idea and appropriate to the occasion.

Comment by alphaBeach | 2009-05-25 20:40:34

I agree – excellent idea. I’d wear one!

Comment by elise | 2009-05-26 01:25:32

Your comment gave me an idea, lorac. I haven’t emailed the DNC since I left the party and May 31 would be a good day to break my fast. I think I’ll put Donna Brazil and Howard Dean on my list of emails to send next Sunday also.

The party changed. I left the Democratic party after 32 years due to the undemocratic way in which That One was selected. And while I disagree with much of what Beck says, I’m certainly glad he is out there getting information on this thuggish group.

As for you, you must be getting your information from the voices in your head.

Comment by helenk | 2009-05-25 12:27:36

I also left the democratic party this year after over 45 years. I would love to know the number of people that left after the obamacrats took over and killed the real democratic party.
I read somewhere that the Republican party raised more money in April then the obamacrat party.
Gee do you think things like donna brazille saying Stay home to real democrats is coming back to bite?

BTW, notice how the msm only reports how many Repubs have left the party since GWB, but is oh so silent about how many Dems have left the Party after fraudulent primaries and GE.

I would love to have the statistics on that, as well. We’ll never get them from the Democrats obamacrats, however. Perhaps the Republican party or an independent group will do a little investigating.

What makes you think that you can’t?

Comment by Fae | 2009-05-25 11:10:38

I agree. I never watched Hannity or Beck or ever Fox news. Now that is all I watch because they are the only people that are finding out the truth about this horrible administration! Our boy an officer in the Marines left Saturday for Afghanistan again. Of course I cried. He said to me “Politics is just like the NBA. One party wins and the next time another party wins. But the military works and protects THE CONSTITUTION OF AMERICA! So read between the lines and do not worry. When your in the military you
don’t pay attention to the petty back and forth. It
would distract and it really does not matter.”

I think what he said made sense and made me feel better. Please pray for all our soldiers today and the ones that gave their lives for our country.

Yes, indeed, Fae – thank your son for us for his service, and thank YOU for your service, too. Families serve in a different way, but your support allows your son to serve, too.

As to the whole Fox thing, I think many of us liberals (and I was a far left leaning liberal Dem my entire life – still progressive, just not a Dem any longer) were sold a bill of goods abt Fox. Heck, abt the Dem Party in general, for that matter.

Cindy, thanks – I do what I can! Thank YOU all for participating, too!

Comment by Jules | 2009-05-25 23:40:51

The far left has moved so much further left, that you are probably center-right by now. Ha.

Comment by elise | 2009-05-26 01:37:52

Jules, the people in control of the Democratic Party now are not liberals. They call themselves Progressives, but they are not. They are more authoritarian than devoted to any ideology.

Comment by J S Ruby | 2009-05-25 11:50:06

I have been following the Acorn saga with Glenn Beck. I have been astounded. I wish other reporters, if they exist anymore, would follow this trail. Glenn should probably watch his back. This is not a group I would trust very far.

ACORN will be picking our president for the next 30 years by manipulating the census results. No doubt many of the census workers are also involved with ACORN . Welcome to the one party state. It will not be long before any dissenting commentators from the new official govt. positions will be subjected to beat-downs or worse by the texting thugocracy that is being constructed as we speak from the ranks of ACORN and other hard left organizations.

Comment by Katmoon | 2009-05-25 14:02:09

Hopefully this will reach to a level where names are recognizable, otherwise we see more scapegoats being herded up, for the sake of P.B.S.

Comment by JRD | 2009-05-25 14:52:58

Glenn also had a poll that said that democrats and republicans are tied at 33% and independents are at 34%. What the tea parties are about is that people are fed up with both parties. The lame stream media won`t report this. 0bama is in just as much trouble as the republicans. This is the politicians worst nightmare. The politicians goal is to pit republican against democrat and take the focus off of themselves not doing their job. To have the people united against them is death for them and they know it. The masses have finally awakened. We have seen that this week in California. First we have to vote them all out and take our country back while we still have a country. Democrats and republicans can go back to their mutual disregard for each other later after we get rid of all these corrupt politicians who don`t care about anyone but themselves. The e-mails and phone calls to the house and senate against the stimulus bill were 8 against to every one for. The people haven`t forgotten that. It`s time for the responsible adults in both parties to unite and take their country back.

Comment by lorac | 2009-05-25 15:26:36

I’ve heard that stat, too, and I’m wondering how they came to it – is it by official registrations? Because from May 31st on I have considered myself an independent and will not call myself a dem again, but I haven’t officially changed my registration, and I don’t think I’m the only one. In other words, I think the official registrations aren’t accurate, and there may be even fewer “democrats” than they think.

I left the dems after 28 years. Although you can’t rely on news from the left or the right, you can take those articles and do your own research. ACORN has been in trouble since way back when, so I tend to believe that there may be something to Beck’s story.

Transparency was only a campaign word! Verbal kool-aid, if you must!

Comment by NoBama | 2009-05-25 18:28:23

Great article, Rev Amy.

When asked I report myself as an Independent now although I used to vote mainly Republican for years. I loved Hillary and hated that the primaries were stolen from her and am convinced she would not be bankrupting our country for generations to come like what’s going on now.

Where is a leader who has the courage to speak the truth, to stand by his/her principles, come what may? IMO, an honest leader who will do what they say and say what they mean will capture the new Independents. Maybe I’m naive.

I still love you guys at NoQuarter…

She’s heading the State Department and receiving award after award and honorary degrees and trying to make worldwide peace.
She just did what she said she’d do on the campaign trail to creat equal rights and benefits for partners of Gays who work at State. It’s in the works to becoming final.

Comment by Brodie | 2009-05-26 08:01:18

Hillary does what she says she will- that’s exactly why the “powers that be” were so terrified at the prospect of her becoming President. Goodness knows, we can’t have any truth or accountability in our “gummint”- who knows what might happen?? I am personally sick of seeing Barky’s face on the telly every other minute- and even more sick of his humongous power grab that threatens to dismantle our system.
