Congratulations, Comrades and Comradesses! You are Proud Owners of Government Motors!

Susan’s Note: I did not write this story. I posted it on behalf of Uppity Woman and forgot to change the author name. Thankfully, Uppity Woman is kind about my being absent-minded. Please thank Uppity for this story!
Congratulations, Comrades and Comradesses!!
Your government is about to become the proud owner of a company that can’t make any money!
Aren’t you happpppppyyyyyy?
And our government is experienced! Look at Amtrak and the Post Office! How can we go wrong???
There is great joy!
Of course, GM could have gone bankrupt last year and saved you about 20 billion in payroll money, but not to worry. It’s just borrowed money. You and your children and grandchildren will have plenty of time to pay it back to China. Don’t be a stick in the mud!
A General Motors Corp. bankruptcy filing seemed inevitable after a rebellion by its bondholders forced it to withdraw on Wednesday a plan to swap bond debt for company stock.
GM has until Monday to complete a government-ordered restructuring that includes debt reduction, labor cost cuts and plant closures. But a Chapter 11 reorganization is likely after the company said its offer to exchange $27 billion in unsecured debt for 10 percent of the company’s stock had failed. GM has received $19.4 billion in federal loans.
GM shares lost 16 cents, or 11.1 percent, at $1.28 in premarket trading.
You will buy shares, yes?
John Pottow, a professor at the University of Michigan who specializes in bankruptcy, said GM evading bankruptcy now is almost impossible.
“They said no. That’s it. They tried. That’s why they’re going to have to file for bankruptcy,” Pottow said.
See? They tried. Isn’t that nice? They “tried” to shake down those unpatriotic capitalist bondholders who wouldn’t go in a hole themselves for The Cause, not good Comrades at all, the unpatriotic SOBs. They “tried” to keep operating on the people’s money, putting our national debt into further peril for decades, but they tried. What more do you want, you Imperialist Pigs?
But don’t worry. Your government is going to run Government Motors into the ground the rest of the way really well. In fact, the same people who have been involved with the bailouts and those Auto Task Force appointees who own no cars themselves except for that guy with the foreign car are going to help out too. I know you feel better about that.
Wilkinson would not say why GM didn’t make the offer to bondholders more attractive.
Because the bondholder deal did not go through, the equity freed by the UAW deal now apparently will go to the U.S. government, which may have to commit billions more for GM’s restructuring in court.
Imagine those bondholders. The nerve of them not being as stupid as our government is. Where’s the sacrifice of these capitalistic pigs?
Here’s the best part, Citizens: After the billions of borrowed money, America now is about to own nearly 70% of on of its most unsuccessful companies. All for the Glorious Cause! Besides, we are saving money because we don’t even have to change the GM logo.
The government’s stake in the company originally was to be 50 percent, according to GM’s regulatory filings. But it now could be as high as 69 percent. The Canadian government also could get equity for up to $8 billion in aid for the automaker.
But take heart, Citizens. Your glorious government is about to own the company that is excited about building the PUMA.
You will buy one, yes, Comrade?
Don’t let the fact that your dog is bigger than this car deter you, silly citizens. This is good transportation to and from potato fields and the first 100 buyers will get a Free Whole Chicken for the family! And when you get tired of driving, you can just pick it up and carry it while you walk! The PUMA is good for Global warming too, especially in North East winters, where Government Motors will guarantee that the earth won’t feel warm to you at all.
Citizens, your government wants you to know it is about choices. So if you don’t like that PUMA, Government Motors might even offer you the Pelosi GTXIi Sport Edition named for one of our most glorious leaders. Wouldn’t that be nice? We could name all the vehicles after helpful and beloved leaders such as The Barack! (with exclamation!), The Reid, or even The Frank. Maybe they could even take a trip down memory lane and name vehicles after other equally great and honest leaders. Like the DeLay, for example. Or how about The Ashcroft. How cool is that? They had better name one The Newt too, else they will never shut him up and he will go one and on and on and ……and on……and on. And on.
You will buy one, yes? You won’t mind towing it a hundred miles to the nearest dealer when it won’t start, right? I didn’t think so.
And just to make you feel even happier, look who we have to make our new Government Motors commercials for us!

I try to come up with better words but.. Susan, you are a hoot! I wish we could file this piece under fiction. You are joking, yes? I fell asleep June 1, 2008 and this is still a dream, yes?
I am sickened by this. I keep thinking of a book I had to read for a Russian Lit class – “Cement” by Fyodor Gladkov. It deals with the state-ordered transition of Russian peasants and farmers into factory workers. It was written to praise that state-ordained transition…but we all know how that turned out. Well, move over Amtrak and let GM have its turn to show just how inefficient a government-run company can be.
Wow…I thought it was all just a bad dream.
Today from “PRAVDA”
…..”the end of an empire is messy” (from Wm. Ayers blog)
If the view of a Russian newspaper doesn’t shake us up, I don’t know what will.
Perhaps hillary should grow a set……resign from this terrible administration…I would have more respect for her…….but she has let obama do whatever the hell he wants…….I thought she had more substance…….guess not
Hillary wouldn’t give you the time of day with your own watch. Try not to pretend. You are really bad at it.
I am very disappointed in Hillary, what a waste I would bet anything this is not how she expected things to turn out, she should of read the blogs for many including myself was saying to run far away from Obama, guess power does corrupt.
She works for Obama, what do you expect? I was dead set against her taking SOS because I knew that she would have no power other than that which Obama approves.
one more quick thought…….it seems that obama has hillary right where he wants her…..on a short leash…and bill is now an ambassador to haiti….wow…..he must be so proud..
Bill is a Special Envoy from the UN, not an ambassador from the US. His job as Special Envoy will be to help with projects to end poverty and disease in Haiti and to help it become a productive country. It’s a much bigger job than being an ambassador. And he got the position due to his successful work in Africa, which he will be continuing. In the end, Bill Clinton will do much more for people of color than Obummer ever will think of doing. Actually, he already has.
For those of you who are contacting me, yes I know this is my piece and because I am lazy, Susan puts my stuff up for me when she sees something she would like to use. As soon as she notices, she will fix it. It is purely accidental, born of an overworked person who is doing my work for me.
mmmmmmmkay?
exactly what dowd was busted for……an accident?…..I dont think so……just my opinion
Cut that crap out. Susan posts my work for me and she has to remember to log on as me. So forgot. Cut her some slack. Jesus you people are like a lynch mob.
why is it “crap”..?….better people have been taken down for far less…..accident or not….its unprofessional, lets stop making excuses……so…we are expected to believe that you were lazy in posting…but not in writing the piece?……thats a stretch……Making excuses isnt professional…..sometimes its the better part of valor to fall on your sword…….again…just my humble opinion…
It’s my piece and if I know how it happened and you don’t, and i have informed you, it is no longer any of your damned business.
And there is nothing “Humble” about your opinion.
marktarheel, have you never made a mistake in your life? Pushed send by mistake? Replied to all instead of one person?
What ‘excuses’ shall we make for your ‘unprofessional’ grammar and syntax mistakes in your oh-so-insightful comment? That you are uneducated, unlettered, and illiterate….or just ‘lazy’?
It’s only infringement if you don’t have the person’s PERMISSION. This is nothing like the Dowd situation.
I told the cop…”I have permission” to be driving this car……and yet I still got arrested…..funny thing about getting “permission’….sometimes people dont believe you…..why not just do things the proper way….take away the reason for the criticism..and bam……it doesnt come in the first place…….problem solved…..and all before lunch…..next?
In which state can one be arrested for “driving without permission”?
Trick question? That is easy… BOTswana.
Well, the cop was probably going by the “stolen car” report instead of taking the word of the person driving that car that he had permission. Hope you get out of jail soon. Snicker.
I made an honest effort to quell comments I was getting and that was my mistake. I forgot the kind of people who show up on forums who can’t wait to add a little dirt to a mole hill and turn it into a mountain.
See there…..not hard to admit you made a mistake…….thank you….and yes….I am quite humble……next?
You are very lucky I forgot my password, you arrogant turd-stirring ass, or I would send your IP address where it deserves to land.
Maybe I can arrange it anyhow.
so…….you make a mistake…..but lash out at people who call you on it?….sorta like what obama does with his critics….amazing
I didn’t make a mistake you horse’s ass. I explained why my name didn’t appear on the piece. I realize that you live a life of quiet desperation with no power so a board like this is important to you, but to pick on Susan and imply she’s a plagiarist is beyond the pale, considering she busts her ass so that morons like you can come here and spew.
i never accused susan of a damn thing…..not once……try and be more careful…..thats the point…….and if name calling makes you happy…….go for it……the person who resorts to personal attacks….always loses the argument…..
BTW, you type like William Shatner acts. Ick.
Oh, will you please shut up? Thank you.
marktarheel–what is wrong with you? I doubt you have ever worked on a blog and know how it gets set up and the amount of teamwork and sharing that goes on inside a “virtual newsroom.” Uppity explained what happened. It’s a no-brainer to accept it.
In the meantime, it is a great post!
marktarheel lives a life of quiet desperation.
Come on Susan stop having a life!!! and change the name before marktarheel has a brakedown!
Im glad a correction was posted……thank you…I wasnt trying to offend…..but I guess it doesnt matter…..I got jumped on for merely pointing out a flawed post……..get over it…..
If you weren’t trying to offend you have a funny way of showing it. And you STILL offend. you are a stellar offensive person. One would almost have to take courses to be as offensive as you are. You didn’t point out squat. You jumped on my post about why my name didn’t appear. you are a most odious individual and you appear to simply be unable to help it.
Marktarheel….if you weren’t trying to offend, you should have sat down and shut up 10 posts ago…..what EXACTLY is your problem? Uppity wrote it, Susan posted it…….and you think there is a problem? Shut up already.
I wish it were QUIET desperation. Why do we all have to hear it?
I have a job for you marktarheel,
Take that blazing insight and rapier sense of fairness of yours and go find all of Obama’s missing documents.
Do something positive for all of us, azzwipe.
Thanks Uppity, once again right on. You bring some balance to a world gone absolutely nuts. So, as I read yet another of these articles… I can’t help but to wonder… are we all going to be sitting around reading one in the near future about the first “brown shirt” neighborhood patrol? This is very surreal that I would even pose such a question and not mean is as a pure snark.
Open Letter to GM President Obama.
BUY A FORD
I would say that, and I would say I will never buy one of these d**n government welfare cars ever. But, I am afraid that Ford won’t be able to compete. I look for Government Motors to have every advantage, receive every incentive and break whether they ever make another good car ever again. When you reward mediocrity, you are blessed with more of it in return. I just wonder how many auto workers we are going to be paying from now on “not” to make cars? Sound far fetched? Well since the USDA got into farming, we pay farmers “not” to produce. Somebody tell me it is going to be any different.
When the bond sales go to sh** in a few months the government won’t have the money to give to GM. At that point the company will collapse. So I would not worry about it to much.
I’ll take issue with the Postal Service and Amtrak as poorly run organizations.
Well, not really.
If left to their own devices both would be successful.
But, in the case of the Postal service when you have legislators determining the discount for
junker bulk mailings to please their cronies in business, and in the other, funding Amtrak just enough to fail in deference to big oil and the highway contractors lobby, then yes they are poorly run. Here’s a thought, car companies are made of of three major groups. Starting with labor that makes the parts then assembles them, to the engineers and designers that figure out how they look, work, and go together, and finally the marketing people who decide what kind of vehicle the public wants.
They, just like the marketing people at the financial institution that thought loans with no or not enough collateral was a swell idea.
Both of these groups went ahead with their plans without taking into account that any price spike in basic necessities would cause it all to come tumbling down. tumbling down.
Both groups are composed of MBAs.
It also helps not to have a postmaster who collect 800k as a “CEO” while his ‘company’ is tanking.
Yep. That explains it all.
I have to jump in and defend the Postal Service, so forgive me. After 31 years and a decent retirement, I couldn’t let the opportunity pass me by. The Postal Service has NOT been subsidized by the government or taxpayer money since the very early 70’s. The ‘Post Office Department’ was changed to the US Postal Service when the government stopped subsidizing. The Postal Service is reliant upon it’s revenue to stay solvent. In the past few years it has taken big hits due to online banking, email, online catalogs, etc. The goverment has very little say so in everyday operations. The Postal Rate Commission does approve or deny rate hikes. Congressman and Senators get involved with constituents when the USPS attempts to close and consolidate very small offices that can’t bring in enough revenue to even pay the Postmaster. Even with their involvement, the USPS has the last word. Prior to retiring 7 years ago, mail volume was on a steady decline, however, with strong union contracts and opposition, the USPS cannot lay off employees and therefore it is difficult if not impossible at times to capture the losses. Add to that the steady increase in fuel and you have a situation that is driving it into the red more each year. Every 2 or 3 years, privatization comes up…..you would be surprised how the Congress and Senate and other goverment agencies DEMAND free postage. You can believe all that is mailed is not government business. Just a bunch of politicians doing the norm and raping any and every system they can to their benefit. Now, I will sit down and shut up.
Americans are passing the post office by. They use UPS, FEDEX, and electronic bill paying. They use email and attachments, and online faxing of papers. That’s because the PO is comparatively more expensive. While when you think about it, it’s pretty awesome that a letter can get half way across country in a few days for 44 cents, for those who are on a budget, it adds up, so they use the free route. I use exactly four stamps per month and that’s only because I don’t trust two charge card companies taking money out of my checking account. The other two are personal things.I do most everything electronically, and most people I know do the same.
The PO appears to have laid off value-added workers and kept the managers where I am. At least that’s how it looks where I am. I think they have done it by attrition to bypass the union. In summer around here, we have children with summer jobs off of college delivering the mail and not having a clue where to put it. We spend a lot of time redelivering it to each other. Last summer I actually received the mailed medications of an old fellow who lives three blocks away from me. Twice. That never happened when we had our regular carrier who knew his route like the back of his hand, petted our dogs and checked in on old Mrs. Jones. Now we see a different face almost weekly. Children are not all that interested in delivering mail, you know?
If you go to the Main PO on lunch hour around here, you can no longer get stamps in a machine. They removed them all and you have to stand in line. And the line is long, because they close down 2 of the four counters for lunch on rotation. It’s a very unpleasant experience to waste a the good part of lunch hour just to buy stamps or mail a package. People look at their watches. They huff. They puff. They sigh. And still the “NEXT COUNTER” signs go up. Truthfully the workers who are there are nice, but they just aren’t there when you need them the fastest.
The post office has to face the times, and it’s not doing it. If like you say it is a union issue, that’s really unfortunate because eventually something is going to Give, like it did at GM. If there were competition, I would bet the competition could deliver mail cheaper right now. Depending on junk mail is a pretty scary thing if you ask me. Most people don’t even want it. And yeah, I am NOT surprised that those pigs in congress want free mail. That is truly despicable considering the finances of the postal service. But it figures, the greedy SOBs.
Very good, Uppity! (:
You can buy stamps online.

This fiasco makes me feel sick for all of us but particularly for my sister, who has most of her money [retirement funds] in GM bonds. She’s already been taken to the cleaners with the Chysler mess. Now this. Multiply my sister by thousands, not to mention the rest of us funding this insanity.
We’re being willfully pulled over a financial cliff.
But I appreciate the humor and snark. Might as well laugh while we still can.
I am confused nationalize the auto industry but privatize health care?
When you nationalize it the jobs go overseas and do not stay in America?
When you privatize the jobs stay here but the care is unaffordable for most people?
What part am I missing in this mess?
WOMEN WITH INTELLIGENCE AND EXPERIENCE,MEN WHO SUPPORT THEM AND COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY ALWAYS
PUMAS,BUBBAS,EQUALISTS AND THOSE PEOPLE RULE
We are being “broken” so that we can be remade. Obama said from the beginning he wanted to do this. People can’t see the forest for the trees sometimes.
Good to read you Uppity Woman, my computer has been nutso and I can’t get into my start menu to uninstall some crappy antivirus thingie, and so *everything* has parental control on it. I haven’t been able to get onto your blog in over a month. Grrr. I get blocked and it says “ADULT”…lol. It thinks “uppity woman” is something naughty, I guess. pfft. Goin’ to puter doc soon.
P.S. Oblow sucks.
Hiya sister, good to see ya! Is that just my blog giving you trouble or are you having it elsewhere as well? Maybe it’s at my end, although I haven’t heard this problem from anyone else, but we know you are special!
He he. Nah, it’s definitely on my end. I can’t read or post on any of the threads on puma pac . It says “adult” or “mature.” lol. I can’t even read stupid stuff about celebrities, because it says “dating”…and even youtube videos with the word “cute” (like cute babies, animals) in it block me, and it says “mature”…pfft. lol. If I ever have kids, I am rigging their computer with this kind of parental control BS. I haven’t seen a guy in underwear or cleavage online in like two months. heh.
I get onto No Quarter, Drudge, RBO, and some others without trouble though. Will fix soon so I can get onto your blog. xo.
Well I miss you and I could probably help you out for free if you could get to my blog and go to the FIX IT tab. Hate to see you spend bucks.
But then again if you could get to my blog, you wouldn’t have a problem. Circular, that.
Can you go to start > run > and type “msconfig” without the quotes in the box and enter. Go to the startup tab and uncheck the program you don’t want to automatically startup? Be careful just to select the right one though. Then restart.
Thanks Docelder. Yes, been trying that for weeks. Computer needs to be wiped out once I can save everything I need. Need to reinstall everything all over again. Computer is flashing & refreshing every 25 seconds. It’s crazy. Feel like I am playing double dutch jump rope signing on, gotta log in mid flashing screen & time it just right. It’s crap. lol. But thank you.
oh, I mean, I can’t get into start menu or anything on desktop, but I tried to run msconfig by way of task manager. (anyway, thanks again)
Can you run your AV in safe mode? Do you run Adaware? Sometimes they flag malware.
Or you can do a system restore back to a point before this all started.
Provided you can still install… Spybot search and destroy and malware bytes are good. The flashing sounds like errant popups. If you have another pc, get the files from that p.c. and load them on the troubled computer only after disconnecting it from the internet first. Sometimes though, it is really easier to wipe it and start over, provided you can save everything you need. Just scan everything saved before copying it to the new build.
Yup agree. Spybot is good stuff.
Did you ever use their advanced tab to look at your startup files? It’s a lot easier than running msconfig and you don’t get that silly message from windows next time up boot up. Try it.
Thanks so much for all suggestions. I appreciate it. And I’m working on it. xo.
O Boy! I can’t wait for the new O-Mobile! Of course, I have read that GM has plan for building cars in China to be sold in the good old USA! I’m really looking forward to taking a spin in the new Maomobile, or the spiffy Red Star Roadster! Who needs Chevy, Cadillac, Pontiac, Buick, or Corvette anyway . . .
Yes, we set up our carbon allotments and GM outsources production to China. Yet, GM has all those preferred government carbon credits. It then sells them to companies like Ford, who actually still try to produce here. GM takes the money and pays it’s union workers to not make cars. Ford and everybody who buys a Ford will pay the way. Meanwhile, China is happy and Obama is again the man in Detroit. Plus, union workers have a lot more free time to help ACORN out.
It will be Ooozemobile.
How many billions more can be sucked from the American taxpayers before we collapse as a nation? TARP, AIG, GM, next? Isn’t this a version of the Cloward-Piven Strategy?
“Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.”
From: http://romanticpoet.wordpress.com/2008/10/28/obamas-coup-to-destroy-capitalism-and-force-socialism-by-using-the-cloward-piven-strategy/
I wonder if they will use a red star or a hammer and sickle for the logo of
Gangsteruh, Government motors? When you look at Cuba and see those 1950’s cars, it does make you wonder… are we all going to be driving 2009 cars 50 years from now, and trading canned food items for used tires to put on them?
The short answer is no. Unless you have a good (and expensive) mechanic nobody will be driving 2009 models 50 years from now.
Older cars and their engines specifically are relatively easy to maintain because it’s all mechanical. Nowadays with all the enviromental stuff and computers nobody can work on cars without special tools and equipment.
Nah, they are going to use the Obama logo copped from his pal at Pepsi.
Obie wanted to become the head honcho at GM because he’s really into hummers.
lmao!!!!!!!
I actually did like the story….and if i came off as rude…..I apologize………
Accepted and ditto.
Problem solved.
Thanks for this Uppity. I’m absolutely astounded there’s virtually no general public uproar about these auto bailouts. What’s wrong with people — are they in a vegetative state? Free market types who kept saying the failing auto companies should file for bankruptcy surely didn’t figure on this type of restructuring. Are these deals basically to maintain UAW benefit cash flow?
It’s bewildering to think that Americans are so utterly deaf dumb and blind to what’s happening. I guess they won’t snap out of it until the big fat payment is due. It just gets worse and worse.
Patience there WAS a public outcry. Only 24 percent of Americans approved of these bailouts. The email servers of congress were bombarded, so they shut them down. Nobody wanted this, but they didn’t care. They ignore the public now just like Chavez would do. Their goal is to become despots and they have a good start at it.
You are right, UW. My husband and I each called our Senators and Congressman about this — the response was either a lazy, incredulous or terse, “yeah — we’ll pass the word along.”
Funny. I thought I was a loyal American citizen and a taxpayer who had voted for these clowns for years. How very sad to find out I don’t matter a damn.
It’s true that polling shows little public support for auto bailouts. But the latest Rasmussen poll has the POTUS’ approval rating at 58%. Rasmussen doesn’t do Congressional polls evidently but Gallup does and according to its polling Congressional approval has increased. So I still contend there’s no uproar.
Thank you both though, Ani and Uppity, for contacting your legislators about this.
Oh, and another thing. Wouldn’t it be better, considering the trend in fuel prices, if these huge sums of money were instead poured into expanding and improving public transit?
Oh, that’s too damned sensible for this bunch of jerks to handle. Sheesh- this shit makes me want to scream “Wake up, America!!!! Before it’s too late… Warning, Warning!!”
If you live out in the boonies Public Transit dont do you a hill of beans….Remember there are still a lot of good old farm boys and catttle ment out there.
Nor does it help if you live near a proposed area for it. It’s possible my house, my entire neighborhood, will be bulldozed to make way for this sh#t and at a cost of over a billion, it cannot be supported by the existing tax base. Even if installed and my neighborhood manages to survive the proposals for its destruction, I don’t want a hub for the forsaken thing near me serving as a quasi homeless shelter, illegal drug emporium, etc less than a mile from my house, thx.
I don’t want to pay for it, I don’t want to use it, and I don’t want it near me.
I don’t see Al Gore using public transporation. He is even too good for commercial flying.
Anti-transit folks are under the illusion that roads and highways pay their own way via the gas tax. Wrong. They require huge public subsidy not only to build and extend them, but to maintain them as well, even without factoring in the cost of military presence in the middle east to assure our access to oil. The same people who oppose transit because of the capital investment it requires want to believe the myth that roads and highways cost the federal taxpayer nothing.
Since when didn’t highway construction destroy neighborhoods, particularly older ones? Since when did people like having a highway in their backyard? Why then all the noise barriers along suburban stretches of highways?
Of course rail transit can’t serve everyone’s transportation needs. Neither do roads. But more and better transit can relieve highway congestion for those who must drive. As gas prices rise, so will the need for transportation alternatives. If just a fraction of the funds being allocated to bail out car companies was directed instead to public transit we’d be better prepared for the time that will surely come when fuel costs become unaffordable for an increasing number of working commuters.
With the auto bailouts, the POTUS is once again making the US taxpayer foot the bill to pay off his political patrons. What he’s proposed for transit pales in comparison. So much for his campaign rhetoric to make us less dependent on foreign oil. It’s all lip service with him — say one thing but do another.
The Russians have warned us not to go down the road to Marxism.
Very interesting article from Pravda
You would think that the Russians are republicans after reading this article..
http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/107459-0/
Hey Seattle, I saw that too, and couldn’t help but to link to it on another thread. Why is it the world can see this so clearly, and yet we can’t? Or at least our media can’t… or more aptly won’t? I really am beginning to think that we really aren’t so free as we think we are. I hope we can get back what we have lost.
“So this is how liberty dies… with thunderous applause.”
Why would a person like Ayn Rand write books with a pure capitalist model based on natural law, self determination and Objectivism.
Because Rand saw it first hand with the Bolshevik revolution. Rand saw the war on the productive class up close as Lenin became the dictator who played class warfare and destroyed all business and prosperity.
Today the ancestors of Rand in Russia realize the gift of freedom they were given after 91 and never want to lose those rights.
Americans because they have been educated only on sensationalism have not been taught the classics therefore it is up to the rest of us to save the country from the Marxists.
There is a large Russian community where i live. They are horrified at what they are seeing.
GM closed today at $0.75.
Right now, that looks like a bad investment to me. But I am no expert.
RRRRRRRRROFLLLLLLLll. And to think we will pork a total of 100 billion into it for the pleasure of owning 80 percent of this company.
I’m loading up on Bumper Stickers – “Don’t Blame Me – I Voted For Palin and the Old Guy.”
Good Bumper Sticker….
Put it right next to the one that says “Where’s the Birth Certificate”
[...] the closing of plants about which I just wrote, I recommend this post by Uppity Woman, “Congratulations, Comrades and Comradesses! You Are Proud Owners Of Government Motors“! That pretty much says it all! What’s next? [...]
How did the fools in this country elect this anti-American, Marxist-Leninist, incompetent, affirmative-action Negro fool? I once wrote that he must be a child of the Devil, but then I realized that too often the Devil gets blamed for our own rebellious, corrupt natures. So my apologies to the Devil.
Uppity Woman,
You have no idea what you are talking about and zero credibility on this issue! You should understand the issues around the auto industry, GM and what is actually being done before you write these superficial posts. You are not a expert on the auto sector and government policy. You just shoot from the hip and just regurgitate all the right-wing talking points.
I have a feeling you would be complaining about whatever happened. If the entire auto sector failed and all these companies, the manufacturing base, and all the jobs had to liquidate I am sure you would be blaming the Obama adminstration for doing nothing.
Once again Obama having to clean up the someone elses mess.
LMAO, troll. That One is all jabber and jingo. He spends more time in Air Force One being taken here and there for his own aggrandizement than he is actually looking out after the interests of the taxpayer. He is in over his head, which will ultimately screw us all but doesn’t care so long at he gets his attention fix. Your boob is just as bad as the last boob, so don’t come here looking for any support for your flaky beliefs.
Obama is not a natural born American citizen. He didn’t grow up whistling at the new Corvette or sharing a first kiss in a Chevy. He grew up in Indonesia doing god knows what. Obama is a fascist and represents European bankers; why else would he give them $13 trillion and let GM and Chrysler beg for crumbs. Obama is “the closer”; he is over seeing the total destruction of the USA economy and selling the assets to Europeans (ie Fiat) and China.
