Do pity Liddy..he will HATE being pitied. After all, this is a man who once held his hand over a candle flame until the smell of burning flesh made the person he was with, a journalist, sick. He did it to prove how tough he was. So pity will be like poison to him. Everyone should email Liddy and tell him how much they pity him. Um, if she isn’t post-menopausal, she is a very rare case. Most women of her age are exactly that, post-menopausal. I am just a few years younger than Hillary and I am post-menopausal. So it is a safe, and non-sexist, assumption that Hillary is too. Not that it’s any of our business, actually.

I read something interesting the other day. BOTH Parties are losing members. The fastest growing political group in the country is Independents, as you said. Looks like the voters aren’t too thrilled with the Dems or the GOP these days. That is going to make the next couple of elections very interesting, I think. I am staying as a registered Dem, so I can use my vote to help keep out the nuts they may be nominating. At this point, I am so totally disgusted with the Dems in Congress, they are nothing more than lap dogs to our future dictator. I wonder what it will take to wake them up. A trip to Guantanamo for not voting his way, perhaps?

Yes, he said that Hillary “periodically got down”, referring to her menstrual cycle as influencing her decisions. The fact that she is probably well past menopause and no longer has periods never occurred to him. And the idea that women make bad decisions because of PMS is ridiculous.

Has he lied our nation into a war?

Not yet, but he did lie his way into office. Lied about his resume, his plans once he took office and his associations in Chicago. And now he is happily bankrupting the country to pay back his main supporters at the expense of the voters.

My only complaints about him so far are that he isn’t prosecuting the cretins that perpetrated torture.

Oh, so you don’t care that he thinks that “prolonged detention” to prevent crime is fine and dandy? Remember, if he can do it in Guantanamo, he can do it here. Once he has the power, the chances of his letting it go is minimal. You are fine with his promising to return the power that Bush grabbed through Executive Orders to Congress where it belongs and not doing so, in fact adding to it through more Executive Orders? You don’t mind that he is doing his level best to become a dictator who rules by fiat rather than a proper President who governs through Congress?? I mind all those things a lot. So should you. Unless living in a dicatorship where only the rich corporations get a voice in the government is something you are looking forward to. I, for one, am not interested in seeing this country go any further down that road. Neither are most of the citizens.

I did not mean funny in the ha ha sense. I meant funny as in weird. However, I don’t think he ‘hates’ women. I think he is just not very enlightened about women (as in clueless). I have had to deal with a lot of people like him over the years, including bosses and relatives. You just have to keep pointing out their irrational thoughts. Eventually some will get it (to some degree) if they are capable of responding to logical arguments. For some it is just so ingrained in them that they don’t know they are doing anything wrong. Yes they annoy the shit out of me, but in the end, they have no bearing whatsoever on my self worth, so I don’t let it bother me.

Hannity on the other hand, I do not believe is sexist…probably the least so in my estimation. I also don’t believe Beck is sexist. I wish you would pull up crap on Beck and prove me wrong if you can. I’ve watched him for awhile and haven’t heard any comments that insulted me at all. He seems like a pretty decent guy. I think I’ve heard the ‘crying like a girl’ thing, but he was trying to be self deprecating by using a cliche. I don’t think he was trying to insult women.

I might add that none of these men have dated a lady named “Superhead” like Bill Maher has. Yes I also listen to him when I want to torture myself.
