Furthermore, Maher just went on Olbermann’s show tonight to defend the reasons why he was speaking out against Obama — can you imagine it — he feels he needs to go on an apology tour for criticizing “The One”. This is amazing.

Where to begin-how about comparing Obama before the election and then after. Before-against free trade, for single payer health care, against the war in Iraq,against torture, against spying, for openess in government, against DOMA, against dont ask dont tell and so forth.

After the election-he has switched on every position either by his words or actions.

I know its sad that Obama is not “the one’ after all (sniff sniff) but as time goes by and as it becomes clearer and clearer that he is actually a very ineffective leader I hope that the idea that the Clintons could have done so much more to help the country with their vast experience and intellect does not torment you-much.

Funny how this dirt bag can not admit he was wrong, “I gave him the benefit of the doubt”-what doubt Maher-anyone who looked at his record-actually anyone who looked at is campaign could see he had no principals and would do anything to be popular.

He courted gays and people who hate gays, he courted bankers and people who hated bankers, the rich and the poor, the intellectuals and the mob, people for free trade and people against, republicans and democrats, women haters and feminists-he claimed he was going to change politics and bring everyone together. The Clintons pointed out that barring divine intervention that was not possible-his story was a fairy tale.

Now Bill Maher wakes up and agrees (although he is too much of a worm to give the Clintons credit)-go back to sleep Bill and stay there.

Thanks for the link to L.a. Times. I can’t believe the epiphany that’s running rampant in the “Comments” section. I’d say it’s 90% anti-Celebrity-Obama. The Obamabots have decided to stop buying the Kool-aid. One guy wrote “I stopped watching Obama since his first debate with Hillary when I made up my mind he was an ‘unqualified idiot’”
The comments were 95% anti-Obama-celeb. Unbelievable! Yes, the Obamyopic sky’s fast falling on the heads of the faithful…
I love this commenter’s: “Will someone please tell Obama that he’s won the Election and can stop campaigning?”

Judging by the posts here, there’s a sense of decency and steadfastness of spirit–whether the posters supported McCain or Hillary. The key thing is everyone writing here has been right 99% of the time! Maher, the latent pedophile-jerk Letterman and Leno were some the most venomous Hillary-haters. Maher’s turning around and Leon got bashed and now Letterman may have gone up a bit after his sexist pedophiliac comment (unlike IMUS, he didn’t get fired!)but he’ll slip down the slimey ladder he’s climbed very soon… He has erred morally and professionally with his disgusting comment.
Reading UNDERESTIMATING HILLARY on Salon.com and reading someone else (another 30-something woman journalist) on the Daily Beast, I am convinced the List of Obamyopics that’s gaining their sight and sanity is growing. OBAMYOPIA is a curable affliction.
