I would not contest her intelligence, hard work and all her very positive qualities. But what I’m worry about is, she deminished her chance, is she intend and want one, to be a candidate for POTUS. She knew very well, who 0bama is. I don’t know, why she accepted to be part of his destructive administration. We could have a hope for 2012. We loose our hope, unfortunately, she gave it to 0bama.

For someone who “can’t connect the dots”, you sure use a lot of them.

For the record, as a first lady, as a senator and now as SOS, Hillary Clinton has a very positive record on this issue of child abduction by non custodial parents and I dare say you could fined an interview on this topic with her.

Why should she resign? In for a penny in for a pound. She will not quit. She does not do this service because of her own ambitions or she would have staied put in the senate as she recently stated. She does not do it for POTUS’s political benefit either.

Ani, I agree with your interpretation and also the first part of nan’s but what I cannot get is the generalizations that don’t apply to Obama but to me in general. I think it’s sexist.

Women who abhor sexism shouldn’t practice it in reverse. In fact if women began fighting for their rights not as women but as PEOPLE and/or PERSONS as the Bill of Rights reads then they could and should win.

Anyway let’s stop the sexist generalizations from both sides.

Yes and we live in a sexist country. 2008 proved that if nothing else did.

What nan is accurately pointing out is that Hillary will play the game with O so long as she can accomplish something for others that need help. Is it fair? No. But that is our current environment. Do I like it? Hell, no. She is not perfect but I’m glad there’s an adult in the room who gives a damn.

I look forward to a day when we don’t play this game anymore. It is easy to just say stop but after the media slaughter last year, who would get something done. They would continue to excoriate her making it impssible to do any job because too many in the public still believe all this crap about “divisive and polarizing” or “ego driven and power hungry”. It’s all b.s. of course, but some don’t pay close enough attention to figure that out.

I won’t forget her and Bill actively campaigning for Obama. It was like a switch was flipped and she flipped with it from saying Obama was unqualified to regurgitating the old standard Axelrod inspired “McSame” pitch. I know a lot of folks here practically worship her, but the more I think about it, the more I am starting to believe that if it were not for the republican house in 1992, we would have seen much of what is happening today back then. For example, the Clinton’s started Americorps and now we are seeing the GIVE act and CityYear emerge prominently. Do what you will to us adults, provided we are stupid enough to lay down and take it… but start indoctrinating kids and a line has been crossed. If we ever clean house in Washington, I hope she gets tossed out with the bathwater. But, that is just me, and I am maybe in a bad mood about things lately.
