JibJab Jabs Obama

For those of you who think Obama is a “light bringer,” (yet another gem from sfgate) this video feels like truth. For the rest of us, it’s just gently mocking.

FYI, JibJab combines the video with an advertisement at the end.

Funny – particularly the Obama signal in the sky. Could we please have more funny about Obama? Please????

That was funny! It’s so ludicrous, but I am sure there will be those sorry souls out there who do think this is a true depiction of our POTUS.

Oh, no doubt, but I thought it was hilarious! Thanks, LisaB!!

Please…for the love of god…resign from this administration Hillary!!!!!!

Comment by Ellen D | 2009-06-22 14:38:41

Mark – go away.
You turn every post on any subject into something negative about Hillary.

I know you’ll turn this into the usual “constructive criticism because you are a Hillary supporter” defense but that also is getting old.

I’m not carrying on any conversation with you after this unless you get a new theme. You bore me.

Comment by Onofre's arm | 2009-06-22 14:52:04

Wow Ellen, it sounds to me like Mark doesn’t want Hillary to get splattered when the shit hits the fan in the Obama administration.

At this point however, it wouldn’t look good for Hillary to bolt, but she should at least consider wearing a raincoat and goggles.

Comment by Docelder | 2009-06-22 14:56:41

She never left the party, the party left her. Left her standing in the dust of the 90’s, and the party is not coming back. The party has moved on. So should we all, or not. Whatever.

This man is a frickin joke and an extreme embarrassment to this country!

Unfortunately, in my opinion, when it is all said and done, Obama will be the reason why we will never have another black President of the US——-atleast not in our life time. This man is truly a disgrace! Many of his kool aid drinkers are beginning to see it but now it is too late!!!

I am apart of the 5% of black people that did not vote for him and I am so proud I didn’t!! Obama is leaving a bad mark on this country and history. Quite frankly, he is making it appear that a black person is not competent enough to run this country! The media and liberal america along with the bulk of the black community picked the WRONG PERSON to make history and we all are paying and are going to continue to pay a heavy price for this until he is out of office!!!!!! Once he is out of office, we will begin the LONG road to recovery! I never thought in my wildest dreams that anyone could do worse than Bush—- boy was I wrong! Obama makes Bush look good!

Comment by politicalidentitycrisis | 2009-06-22 13:10:32

I would take Bush back in a heartbeat over this fraud/thug!

Better yet, can we please have Hillary now? Please, God. Everyone is sorry. The bad people who voted for this promise to never do it again! If we can’t have Hillary, can Bill have another run? Please, pretty please with sugar and whipped cream and a cherry on top??? Please!

I think Americans had best start praying! We are in for a nightmare indeed!

I totally agree. There were so many better choices. I believe the reason they weren’t considered is because they couldn’t be controlled the way Obama is.

The man is full of ambition, he just has no interest in working for it. He wants to be a star. Charm and charisma can only carry you so far. He can’t even write his own speeches because he has foot in mouth disease; no less than Biden. He relies on others to do everything for him, while he’s still to this day out campaigning. He sits back and pounds his chest, then points his fingers at everyone else when things don’t go his way.

Michelle had it right in the beginning when she said, “He’s not ready.”

and pathetic..lol.

Comment by Scout | 2009-06-22 14:23:57

I agree with you. He will make it much harder for legitimate black candidates at all levels. For someone who was supposedly “post racial” and who wanted to have a “national conversation about race,” he has deepened racial division in this country.

Comment by Onofre's arm | 2009-06-22 14:35:49

Don’t dispair Yeah Right, I don’t think that Obama will ruin the chances for another AA Pres. While it is certain that a large portion of Obama’s support was due primarily because of his half black heritage, it was only enough of an issue to cancel out his complete lack of experience. In other words, while race may have helped a man with no other credentials, race will NOT hurt a man with impressive qualifications.

I was very dissappointed by the apparent lack of sophistication displayed by the voters this last election, they were blinded by a movement with a purely symbolic foundation; elect the fist AA. The novelty of that is rapidly wearing off. In a way, electing Obama (who will be a dissaster) may actually serve to educate people that the content of an individuals character absolutely is the most important consideration, while skin color is simply genetic pigmentation. I don’t believe that a well qualified and compelling AA candidate will be overlooked next time because of skin color.

Crummy leaders come in all shapes, colors, and sexes, and this last election demonstrates the folly of selecting a candidate on those superficial physical chacteristics. I hope the focus next time will be on the intelligence, integrity, honesty, and acomplishments of the candidate, and there is no shortage such individuals from both sexes and racial backgrounds.

Also, next time I’m certain that we’ll make sure that the individual was actually born an American citizen.

Comment by Yeah Right | 2009-06-22 15:28:22

Onofre’s arm, I LOVE your optimism and I want to believe that people will vote based on qualifications——-and simply looking at the best person for the job but unfortunately, I do not believe that this will be the case. Race played a STRONG factor in Obama being elected and it was a primary factor in his opponents being scared to criticize him for fear of being called a racist.

I strongly believe that race will play a factor in future elections, this can be a double edge sword.

This is my take, if the first black President does well (and thus far, his presidency has been a joke to me), he will make it easier and create the path of other black candidates to be trusted and elected. If he does terribly, then this will be subconsciencely remembered in people’s mind when they vote. They will remember that the first black president dug us in a hole and will be reluctant to trust and vote for another black candidate.

Comment by Onofre's arm | 2009-06-22 15:58:47

Unfortunately you may be right. I don’t look at Obama as the first AA president though, I don’t like racial labels, and I certainly don’t use a person’s genetic background to assess them.

And while I don’t view Obama as the first AA president, I do consider him to be the first pathological Narcissist, amoral, lying sack of sh** president,(no others approach Obama’s level of treachery) and his destructive activities will hopefully jolt his mesmerized worshippers out of their trance so that another pathological Narcissist, amoral, lying sack of sh** won’t have a chance in the forseeable future.

You may also be sadly right about race being an issue in future elections, but just watch which party makes it an issue. The Dems cornered the market on racism this last go around.

The lack of sophistication continues. Last night on Jeopardy the return champ was a black guy and one of the 2 other contestants was called Hillary. During the show’s opening, the guy made a gesture which Trebek asked him about. The guy proudly said he was brushing something off of his shoulder.

Nice, huh? It may have distracted Hillary and the other white woman. Alex should have ignored it, but he chose not to. All of them got the final ? wrong, but Mr. Class & Sophistication won with + – $5,000.

Just remember, he IS half White. I always facetiously said I voted against his half-White side. I am White, by the way, not even suntanned. :-)

It is very sad for me because there have been so many very eloquent, righteous, and intelligent Blacks who would have made much better presidents. His being the one who became the first is an outright crying shame. So think of him only as the first Mutt president, even though that makes me sad for my two rescued mutt dogs lying here.

We can still have a first Black president.

bush planted the seed of freedom in Iraq……and guess what….Iran liked it!…thank you president bush……watch obama blow it…

Comment by Docelder | 2009-06-22 14:21:00

If Saddam was still in Iraq, the people of Iran wouldn’t have had the confidence to revolt, because of the fear of Saddam taking advantage of the situation. History will be much fairer to Bush than we were, that much is certain. Not that it doesn’t suck that we had to foot the bill for liberating Iraq. But, don’t we always carry the water for lady liberty? That is what we are though, we run the world “freedom” store. Once we are out of that, then we are out of business for good… because that is our main export.

Comment by BlueTopaz | 2009-06-22 16:48:59

Iraq is now a breeding ground for terrorists, it wasn’t before. Many thousands of Iraqis are dead, far more than would have died under SH. Our soldiers were sacrificed to line Bushies already padded pockets, not to liberate Iraqis, otherwise we’d have liberated the world of the threat of North Korea.

Bush trashed the world economy to give Iraq elections and Iran the confidence to protest theirs? He stole 2 elections and paved the way for BO to steal a 3rd.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for my gratitude.
