I just heard that pathetic creature, Liz Trotter, on FOX being interviewed by Eric Shawn. Her unbelievable attack on Sarah Palin was one of the worst I’ve heard yet. The Left has gone overboard in trying to destroy Palin and the press has been more than willing to assist. What a pathetic bunch of pompous, self-proclaimed experts - Didn’t we have a revolution to escape these kind of elitists who despise the very people they so desperately need? Yes, the average Joes and Janes out here in middle America are watching and growing weary of THE ELITES telling us what to think and who to dismiss and who to destroy. A pox on the whole bunch.

nice! I missed number 6. I guessed c. Better go read up on Madison.

I got #8 wrong. I said D. I should have gone with what I originally thought it was, which would have been the correct answer. I know you’re supposed to stay with your original answers and not change them…Oh well, I did much better on this test than on the Economic one.

I got 8 right. I missed #6, & #9. Guess I nodded off during those parts.

Comment by Ferd Berfle | 2009-07-05 11:27:22

Yeah, I missed No. 9, too. I didn’t realize that the cost actually went down. Were the same sort of discernment present today, the citizens of the U.S. wouldn’t be purchasing all those products that junk from China.

I missed #6 too. Guess I think freedom of speech trumps everything.

Most Americans don’t know that Britain reduced the taxes on tea so the product could be sold lower than the price being charged by the Dutch.
The tea party was engineered by a few interests:
The merchants selling the Dutch tea and protesting the monopoly Britain held through the East India Company, the idealists who wanted representation in British Parliament, and the rowdies in Boston who supplied the muscle.

Most Americans also don’t know that being tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail wasn’t an amusing event - it was a horrible death.

I missed No. 9 also. I love the fact that the colonists rebelled, despite the reduced price of tea, due to principles. We need more folks like that today.

Comment by Ferd Berfle | 2009-07-05 14:33:58

We need more folks like that today.

We certainly do.

I have to admit to getting 10 out of 10 even though I did not get a 4 year degree as Sarah did. if you caught the slimball remarks of That Liz airhead on Fox she described Palin as poorly educated. Talk about a elitist remark, how can these people stand to go home and watch themselves on tivo and remain as smug as they are.

Comment by Diana | 2009-07-05 23:30:57

WTG John. I would have gotten them all right also, but I changed one of my answers. I love history, always have. I wanted to be a historian, always got straight A’s in it all through school, but they convinced me in High School it wouldn’t be a feasible choice. I wish I hadn’t of listened.

Liberal Rapture has an article up refuting the claim that Sarah Palin is under FBI investigation for the Wasilla Sports Complex fiasco. It appears that this was just another baseless charge, flamed into being by a particular Alaskan blogger and alot of Palin haters. I’m sure the trolls that were out yesterday will be sorely disappointed.

Thanks for the quiz, Linda. I join the ranks of not knowing the price of tea went down with the Tea Tax. To think that people would revolt for principle, rather than money.

What a concept!

You can’t help but to notice how much the government has morphed into King George.

Anyone see these video’s on the New York Tea Party at Times Square?

Wonder how many other news stations covered it other than Fox? I could only find it there. Looked like a great one.
