More On Hillary In India
By Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy on July 22, 2009 at 2:01 PM in Current Affairs, Education, Foreign Policy, India, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Oh, you just gotta love that Hillary Clinton. Here is more of her trip in India. Here, she is speaking to 700 university students:
f you don’t have time to watch the video, click on it anyway, and the transcript is available underneath it.
I have company from out of state, so this will be brief. Suffice it to say, for someone Obama claimed to be a Foreign Policy lightweight, she sure makes him out to be a liar, doesn’t she?

Don’t miss the Q&A It was very impressive as usual

Thanks for posting these as well (the State Dept. is pretty good in releasing the videos). The speech and the Q&A are excellent. Very impressive and meaningful. She is simply the best !!
On the other hand, there’s this.
Doc99:
I’m hoping that was just the “Stockholm Syndrome” speaking, and the Israelis have learned that they can’t rely on assurances from any other country for their physical protection and existence, and they sure as hell can’t rely on any such guarantees from Backtrack Hussein Obama, particularly assurances that would not even come into play until their country was just an incinerated memory.
Agreed Rob G in Chicago. This is a good article I think (older but relevant)

You know I think those kind of statements are Hlllary repeating “Obama’s line” rather than Hillary’s own thinking. She actually later clarified what she meant and reiterated a nuclear Iran was unacceptable:

Hillary looks so Presidential..
When I see what we could of had for a president and what the dnc foisted on us I could scream.
I want every one of the dnc voted out of office the next time they are up for reelection. Then I want them ran out of town on a rail.
Donna Brazil was on CNN shilling for backtrack’s health care bomb.
She and Pelosi would make Axis Sally proud. Two women who followed in her footsteps.
WOMEN WITH INTELLIGENCE AND EXPERIENCE,MEN WHO SUPPORT THEM AND COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY ALWAYS
PUMAS,BUBBAS,EQUALISTS AND THOSE PEOPLE RULE
Thanks for the post, Amy. I’d read some clips on this one but not seen the vid.
She is good. She is very, very good. Thank God we have her as our face and voice to the world.
We were both right in our support for Hillary as SOS..The only hope this country has is with the pragmatist Hillary and her vast knowledge of History and America’s purpose and role in the world.
I also understand that Obama the ideologue apologist in chief makes sure that Hillary echo’s his failing strategy.
When the moment comes Hillary will stand tall and defend this country Goldwater style.

Agreed. I might not like her boss but I still admire her and feel as you do: this is a woman who will defend the American public and our interests when it hits the fan. She’s the only bright spot on a dismal political landscape.
It’s a pity Ozero is pulling her strings. Wouldn’t it be something if Hillary Clinton could somehow meet with Sarah Palin?
Two possible dreams…
Clinton/Palin 2012…
Clinton vs Palin 2012…
I’m ready for some fun!
Have you followed the interview from India with Greta—more great stuff. You know she will only be best case 64—worst case 68 for the presidentials in front of us. Assuming of course that O does not totally destroy us in the intervening years.
Hillary Rocks!! THis is the right secretary of State!
It breaks my heart evry time I see her and think what might have been.
Oh, yes, I totally get that - it is very hard seeing who we SHOULD have had as our president, and who we have…
Yes, the rest of the videos are impressive - I thought abt putting up the Q&A just because her ability to deal with a number of questions/issues without benefit of getting them ahead of time (ahem) is impressive. She is able to hold so much in tension as she answers, it is just mind boggling. WOW…
I’m sure we’re not the only ones wondering “if only.” I often wonder how many dignitaries outside of our country who have had to deal with both Hillary and O… think the way we do. What are their private thoughts on the merits of the two?
How about Hillary speaking about the DRNK? From SLATE:
Hillary unprofessionally starts calling North Korea names like she is a 4th grader instead of a dignified Secretary of State. It’s unprofessional at best -
From CNN - North Korea launched a scathing personal attack on U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday after she likened the leadership in Pyongyang to “small children and unruly teenagers and people who are demanding attention.”
At a meeting of southeast Asian nations in Phuket, Thailand, a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman blasted Clinton for what he called a “spate of vulgar remarks unbecoming for her position everywhere she went since she was sworn in,” according to the state-run KCNA news agency.
The spokesman called Clinton “by no means intelligent” and a “funny lady.”
“Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping,” the statement said.

Wonder if this is the only country with this opinion.
Sorry Barb. Since when does anyone give real credibility to anything the mental midgets of North Korea have to say? Hillary’s performance continues to be magnificent. I think we’ll see soon some comparison numbers comparing her performance to Obambi’s, and she’ll be growing in stature, despite what the Obots at Slate have to say.
