I well remember her as NavyVet and the tireless way she worked for Hillary and, after Hillary was robbed of the nomination, NavyVet worked on with equal vigor to expose the rancid underbelly of the Obama machine and ACORN. She was an inspiration to me to keep caring about our democracy when I felt like giving up and walking away from anything political. Her good works will resound long after her voice has gone silent. I got her name off Hillary's official campaign website. Nancy wanted to go work for Hillary in Texas and was willing to drive down if someone could supply a motel (not the more expensive hotel) room for her and a pal. Given my job at the time, I couldn't work for Hillary during the day and told Nancy I'd put her and her friend up in a basic motel in a fairly inexpensive Dallas suburb. Talk about synchronicity--there I was, having seen Bill in Arlington, TX recently and standing in one of the eight long security check lines, having left a message for Nancy before we all enteried that raucous coliseum in Fair Park, eager to see and hear Hillary in person, and this tiny woman right behind me was our Nancy. I still remember that day, the hard work of all us ordinary Americans with an extraordinary love and repect for our country and people like Hillary and Bill who put up with so much to help us. Honest, decent hardworking people who hitched rides from state to state, slept on living room floors and in bargain motels--across America working for a great American, HRC. Now Dallas is a pretty big town, we had 4,000 people show up at the rally (Hillary won the Texas primary by 4% and "lost" the caucus later that evening by 12% in what has proven to be massive fraud by the bho immoral camp) and I told Nancy I'd meet her at the east entrance and would call her cell phone when I got there. So I'm standing in line and hear two ladies behind me chatting, one saying they drove in from Kansas. I said I'm meeting a lady from Kansas, Nancy Armstrong, and Nancy Armstrong extends her hand! If this is the same Nancy Armstrong mentioned in this blog, that's one more hardworking American for Hillary, our democracy and our country. Peace in the passing.
