Here are some of her suggestions:
After watching the reporting by the usual suspects in the media, who are turning these protests into orchestrated, manufactured outrage, it’s clear that having a number of town hall meetings where those reps either chose not to participate in one or who chose to have a conference call instead, will help prove that they are merely trying to discredit these protests and undermine the citizens true feelings about the health care legislation. Or how Senator Boxer ridiculed citizens voicing their concerns as trying to “hurt our president” and too well dressed for this NOT to be orchestrated

Another point that should be put out there for all to see is that during the primary and general election, it was Obama, himself, who told his supporters to have debates with those who did not support him and “get in their face.” Here is a reminder of Obama saying that, along with some other actions by his supporters

More importantly, we want citizens to realize how important it is for them to participate in democracy and recognize how important they are in making these reps accountable and to expose their total indifference to the citizens’ concern, not to mention their total lack of knowledge of exactly what’s in the bill. This is a pivotal moment to increase citizen involvement in “taking to the streets” and keeping the pressure on. The longer citizens stay engaged in these protests, the less the MSM can dismiss them as “astro turf” (i.e., not real grassroots concerns), as Nancy Pelosi refers to them in this clip

asking citizens in those towns where the representatives have chosen NOT to have a town hall meeting or worse, canceled them, to “BE THE MEDIA” by organizing and conducting town hall meetings themselves and having a public discussion about what they don’t like about the health-care bill and any of the other bills that have been rammed down our throats and videotape the event. In particular, they should make it clear that they are having the town hall meeting despite their representative’s choice to not have one or to cancel one. That should be made clear at the beginning, and then say that they would not be silenced.Then request that clips of these events be sent to NQ, here, and other websites of their choosing in order to make the people’s outrage at not being listened to be seen and heard by other citizens, so that we know that this isn’t just a group of fringe groups being sent out to disrupt town hall meetings.*
It’s an end-run around the MSM’s attempt to ignore and not report what the people are really feeling about the Obama Administration’s policies.
Now word is coming that unions are being sent in to counter those who oppose this plan. And videos are already rolling in, including footage of union members (SEIU) getting into it with Tea Party protesters.
This is our country, and we have every right to speak out, to dissent, to question. And we have the right to speak out without fear of harassment, violence, or intimidation by those in power or their surrogates. We have the right to demand accountability of those whom we have elected to represent us, and that they REPRESENT US. That is their job, after all.

We’ll decide. None of you has the right to shove this plan down our throats, and every last one of you must read every word in the bill before you vote. We need health care and insurance REFORM, not an overthrow.

As a reporter I always cherished the first amendment. As a liberal and Democrat I was a gun control advocate. My how things change. Obama has made it crystal clear why the first amendment doesn’t mean a damn without the second amendment and the right to bear arms. Anybody else change their tune as well?
Yep, changed my tune sometime last fall. For years, I was the tree-hugging, bleeding heart Democrat who just would NOT listen to anything the other side had to say. Now people like Hannity, O’Reilly and even Newt Gingrich are making sense. Everything is not as it should be.
I used to like Barbara Boxer, but she’s become a real traitor to her party and to women. After she turned on HIllary, I tuned her out.
Everytime she sends me an email, I send it back with the response: You weren’t there for Hillary, so I won’t be there for you.

What all these politicians are doing is fueling a rebellion. You don’t get reform passed by ridiculing and mocking people who ask questions. Obama and members of congress have failed to effectively define the plan and have done nothing to reassure people’s fears. In fact, they’re dumping more fuel on them.

As a practicing physician I have major concerns with the healthcare bill before Congress. I actually have read the bill and am shocked by the brazenness of the government’s proposed involvement in the patient physician relationship. The very idea that the government will dictate and ration patient care is dangerous and certainly not helpful in designing a healthcare system that works for all. Every physician I work with agrees that we need to fix our healthcare system, but the proposed bills currently making their way through congress will be a disaster if passed.
I ask you respectfully and as a patriotic American to look at the following troubling lines that I have read in the bill. You cannot possibly believe that these proposals are in the best interests of the country and our fellow citizens.
Page 22 of the HC Bill: Mandates that the Govt will audit books of all employers that self insure!!
Page 30 Sec 123 of HC bill - THERE WILL BE A GOVT COMMITTEE that decides what treatments/benefits you get.
Page 29 lines 4-16 in the HC bill: YOUR HEALTH CARE IS RATIONED!!!
Page 42 of HC Bill: The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC Benefits for you. You have no choice!
Page 50 Section 152 in HC bill: HC will be provided to ALL non US citizens, illegal or otherwise
Page 58 HC Bill: Govt will have real-time access to individuals finances & a National ID Healthcard will be issued!
Page 59 HC Bill lines 21-24: Govt will have direct access to you ur banks accounts for elective funds transfer.
Page 65 Sec 164: is a payoff subsidized plan for retirees and their families in Unions & community organizations: (ACORN).

Page 317-318 lines 21-25, 1-3: PROHIBITION on expansion- Govt is mandating hospitals cannot expand.
Page 321 2-13: Hospitals have opportunity to apply for exception BUT community input is required. Can u say ACORN?!!

Page 430 Lines 11-15: The Govt will decide what level of treatment you will have at end of life!

Senator, I guarantee that I personally will do everything possible to inform patients and my fellow physicians about the dangers of the proposed bills you and your colleagues are debating.
Furthermore, If you vote for a bill that enforces socialized medicine on the country and destroys the doctor/patient relationship, I will do everything in my power to make sure you lose your job in the next election.

I’m writing my Representative and Senators today to express mu extreme displeasure. I hadn’t gotten past the first couple of hundred pages in this wretched bill, which is nothing short of socialism.
I tried to read HR 3200 — just call me stupid because I couldn’t make heads or tails out of the confusing piece of trash!
GOD BLESS YOU, DOCTOR. What you extracted from the DEAD BILL, not HC BILL, made me cry. Because, I pay a high price to run away from that kind of Government care for people system, and I find myself and specially my children in a more worts situation, I run away from. I never thought, not in a million year, that AMERICA, the most enviable country in the world could take over a system, that was trown away by the rest of the world. The way, they try to shut-up the people, is inconceivable.
Theres clearly only one answer. Give up your US citizenship and become an “illegal” right here at home.
Voting is a sham here anyway, and illegals do vote in quite a few states. Illegals get tons of benefits yet dont pay taxes.

I think a great idea is to allow all the illegal aliens to come here who so desire, with placards welcoming them to America–and then tax the hell out of them. The influx would likely end and those here would head right back across the border.

If only one person can organize a townhall meeting where their representative either chose not to have one or cancelled an already scheduled townhall meeting and opted for a “conference call” instead, and videotape citizens attending the meeting and having engaging in a real discussion of their concerns and what exactly they don’t like or don’t understand about the healthcare bill, that would really go a long way in showing the public, in general, that the MSM is not reporting the truth about the citizens attending these meetings, but are merely being used as propaganda machines by the obama administration.
They talk about citizens having signs with “swastikas” on them, but how about a MSM that sounds like frightenly similar to Goering’s nazi propaganda machine, which was so effective in Hitler’s rise to power?
The MSM and those in Congress who are blindly supporting this bill, and who are arrogant enough to not read it, much less understand what’s in it, are deflecting the truth that it is they who are using “manufactured outrage”, not the citizens, in order to silence our dissent and we need to call them on it NOW!

OH OH OH…I have to share this. I was shopping in a home improvement store that will remain nameless for those lurking. When we were checking out yesterday, one other patron was complaining that her purchases weren’t tax free. The man explained it’s for back to school stuff…for kids, not everything. And she didn’t let go, she said, “but in California they have tax free for all purchases”. The Cashier looked at us and said “Democrats are really greedy”. …. I was laughing all the way in to the parking lot.
Barbara Boxer who resents being called maam by our military because she worked so hard to be a Senator could very well lose that position in 2010. im fifteen years old i have been working aginst the obama camp with my father since 07 my family were hit by an ilegal imagrant in 05 my mother was seriously ingered she has been on these so called ”painkillers” for years we fianly were able to get surgery to try to fix her she has had 3 surgeries since january and she sitll is not finished she cries to me and my father daily those painkillers have caused her more harm then good if this bill is passed she wont get any more surgeries she wont be able to get a wheelchair ( if her condition worsens ) she’ll be forced to stay of those painkillers for the rest of her life we need to stop this any way we can yes i am young but i have seen and heared what most young people are so blind to see

amy thank you for your thoughts,i have not wanted to talk about what this family has gone through since the accident.we had greathopes after my wifes first surgery in jan,however she developed a staff infection and had to be opened back up,if we would have had to wait for approval for readmission we probably would have lost her as her white blood cell count was above 24,000 with normal being around 8,000.thank god she is still here as we just celebrated 21 years together.
so any prayers are appreciated as she is going to have to go back under the knife one more time which hopefully will fix it or at least let her stop taking meds for pain.anyway thanks all from the tufts.

No, that’s not what Single Payer should be, but then again, Obama doesn’t need to be making the changes to Medicare and cutting services there either, he is choosing to…to help pay for others, while we in the middle will get stiffed with the tab and higher costs and less service. I already have that, with a my insurance more than I ever expected to pay, for INSURANCE, and our costs just tripled on deductable, and percentages to pay on when the insurance finally kicks in. And this is from the state for state employees. And get this, this state just negotiated with all the insurers in the state, Blue Cross, Lovelace and Presbyterian, to offer the same exact coverages for no competition. Changed them all for the worse. Now Blue Cross doesn’t allow the wide service providers it used to, and the HMO’s increased their rates. now they all suck. Isn’t that swell.

I just attended a Patients First event. There was a bus but it traveled around…NOT the people. I was there when the bus arrived and it contained a couple of the people that spoke at the rally, a couple people who set up, a couple who took pictures and their equipment and that’s it.
We had over 200 people show up. I went right after work. My sign said “ObamaScare: the next Cash For Clunkers? Turn in Grandma!” Guess what? I made that up all my little, ole self. Stop patronizing and insulting. It won’t work. Unlike you lemmings, we have our own minds and actually look into things. We trust neither side. We trust ourselves. WE READ THE BILL AND KNOW WHAT’S IN THERE.
The recess rally is also from us, the grassroots. It was built by those who started the tea parties….local caring citizens. The reason we came up with that is because the lying, chicken Democratic Reps will not tell us the truth on the healthcare bill. WE READ THE BILL AND KNOW WHAT’S IN THERE.
