I had to smile when I read that your cats make you a millionaire. Recently, after I had groomed Jordan, I commented that he looked like a million bucks. I then turned to the woman who stables him, and asked her how much she thought a horse like Jordan would cost (I got him for free, btw – he was rescued from a crazy, abusive owner), and she said, “Well, I heard he cost a million bucks!”

That being said, you are right that they belong to us all, and are an important symbol. I have heard of some of the organizations you mentioned, too. Good for you for your involvement!

For those who couldn’t watch, the bottom line is that people are stealing these horses to get their meat, which sells for $40 a lb. It is all abt the money.

And yes, they and those who eat this meat, deserve everything they have coming…

I sure don’t remember ANYONE in the MSM going after Obama when HE got/gets testy – no, they claim he is incredibly even-keeled, even when there are numerous examples to prove them wrong.

But after all the traveling, all of the difficult things she has seen on this trip, and the marginalization as the result of elevating Susan Rice, and the 24 gazilion czars who intrude in her territory, that she might BE a little testy. I would be, too.

Get Over it.

And then, last year when we watched what happened during the primaries, my Democratic friends said:

Get Over It.

I think Hillary is doing a fabulous job. Instead of the press highlighting these moments when she stands up to the gross brutality of rape and champions the rights of women and children, what do we hear? She went into a snit over a rude question and how unbecoming her behavior was.

The press and her own fellow Dems take every opportunity to cut her to size. But she’s bigger than all of them and she keeps on keeping on.

Makes me proud [and those moments are hard to come by anymore].

Of course, if Obama had said it, everyone would be tittering (and twittering) away abt him acknowledging what all the rest of us knew, blah, blah, blah, and he would be hailed as a hero. But Clinton? Nope.

Coast. Stop taking long grueling trips and then being asked to comment on anything. Do what Romney is doing – sitting back and allowing Obama to self-destruct.

Hillary can walk into the 2012 nomination if she does the basic job – keep a low profile – and do little to associate with Obama. She does not need to “shine” and, in fact, it could backfire on her.

This country is rapidly building an enormous distrust of Obama who has been caught in too many lies and deceit. The more he talks the more accelerated is his self-destruction. Romney is smart to stay out of the way and allow it to happen. Hillary should do the same and not risk any more gaffes because of exhaustion and bad translators.

Thanks so much Rev. Amy for this story. it really breaks my heart how disrespectfully she is still treated by the media here. And the worse Obama is doing the nastier they will be to her. Bank on it.

I’m very thankful to all the dinosaurs that gave us energy to stop using beasts of burden.

There could have been no more dramatic setting: Overruling the security fears of her aides, she traveled to eastern Congo, where hundreds of thousands of women have been raped over the past decade. She visited a refugee camp and met with one woman who was gang-raped while eight months pregnant; she heard of another who’d been sexually assaulted with a rifle. She was told of babies cut from their mothers’ bodies with razors. She spoke of “evil in its basest form.” She promised $17 million to fight sexual violence….

I hope this doesn’t happen.

The first first-lady to have a Master’s degree, the first-first-lady to have her own office in the White House, she went from First Lady, to US Senator to getting the most votes in Dem primary history.

Hillary’s a bad sista (she’s my honorary sista, lol) and I hate to see the Obama’s try to ruin her.

Condi Rice was the right hand woman to the worst President in history and even she gets more respect than Hillary does. It’s insane.
