Obama’s town hall meeting in Montana (3 p.m. ET/noon PT) is supposed to be more “open” than his New England town hall. Tickets have been dispensed openly. “Officials and media are bracing for a potentially aggressive crowd similar to the ones that have confronted lawmakers during town hall meetings across the country during the past two weeks,” reports the WaPo. Please jump in and share what you see and hear!
Especially let us know if Obama is confronted by any opponents. How effective were the opponents’ arguments? How honestly and directly did Obama respond to their concerns?

That was SO NOT MONTANA. Granted, there is a yuppie strand in the population there, but they are a distinct minority. Obama’s people clearly gave the Obamabot yuppies favorable seating arrangements for that event.
Then too, most real Montanans have to work during the day, and mostly only those with the financial means are able to take a day off from work.
If this event had been held in the early evening or on a weekend, I think we would have seen a more accurate cross-section of Montana residents.

Don’t buy it, it’s the cruel fiction of the usual crafted political theater meant to inspire you to do something stupid, and thus far it has worked on 69 million voters. Please, use your brain, don’t add to that number. But the vulgar stupidity has to stop, a slack public education system has to be overcome, the MSM needs to be either overhauled or ignored, and normally intelligent people have to wake up from the hopey changey trance that compelled them to toss common sense in the trash and vote for a slimy psychopath. These things need to happen before we can address our health care issues, as well as any other items that may come before congress. Until the change of power in 2010, it would probably be best if NOTHING were to be passed in congress. Let’s put this current government on ice, it seems the most prudent course at this point.

I saw that happen not too long ago at one of his press conferences. Several times he called out a reporter’s name, but each time he had to look around the room to see where that reporter was. So he wasn’t calling on a raised hand - he had earlier knowledge that these were the names of the people he was going to call on. And why would that be, unless someone screened their questions beforehand and supplied the “ok” ones to BO….?

i guarantee that the tickets were handed out by some Obama-affiliated group and they were only given to known obama supporters. i think that people in the midwest are less likely to get into screaming matches with each other, but you certainly would have seen some serious questions or opposition voiced if the audience was representative. another possibility is that those folks who don’t like The Fraud simply didn’t want to go see him, so only his devotees showed up at the meeting.
As angry as people are, it would not be possible to have a large audience of true believers without being staged. They really do believe we’re stupid.
When I was channel surfing, I saw the smirks of two women behind him when he gave the standard…seniors who don’t want government interference and don’t seem to know Medicare is a government program. Yes, you condescending Ahole, we do know. We know how the government has mismanaged it and robbed SS and THAT’s what we don’t want you making even worse or making it less effective. It is already rationed.
I asked my doc the other day “where should I go for euthanization, since I am in the senior citizen category?” He said “well they have a program at the dog pound”.

I find it terribly sad. Most animal rights activists are working hard to move toward no-kill policies as we do more to spay and neuter and find homes and build shelters. Animal rights people value older and high maintenance (because of illness) animals a lot
The percentage of animals being “put down” in pounds has gone down tremendously since I worked in a shelter in ‘74 and ‘75.

People know me as very compassionate and giving having helped feed 50m people by volunteering my time and effort by my own free will without anyone demanding me do such a service.
As a believer in Darwinism and natural Law the Health care plan is an attempt to divorce mankind from nature.
There are winners and losers in life and I have been on both sides of that coin. It is up to the individual to survive in this rough and tumble world by his own means or hopefully through family and connections. We have a safety net for those completely without means.
When I look at wildlife in this great State I see survival of the fittest and a dog eat dog world. The democrats don’t think we are part of nature and believe that mankind can live by a pre-written script or blueprint which covers everybody in health care and makes every person have the same amount of wealth communist style

Your post reminds me of E. O. Wilson, he often points out the divorce between Americans and nature, not necessarily from the natural world, but from his true nature. Man has a nature that is the result of millions of years of evolution, trial and error, and countless natural pressures. And you’re absolutely right, the type of communist mentality that is driving this current demand by a large swath of this nation to enslave the medical industry is fueling tempers and possible hostilities because it is in direct conflict with the natural instincts that have been deeply planted by millions of years of evolution in all of us.

I think there’s a lot of what happened during the dem primary that Fox doesn’t really know about, maybe because they weren’t interested yet, or maybe because they didn’t like Hillary.
But given that Fox is an important station to have, to offset the bias in the other stations, they’re the only ones who would even be interested in telling the truth about the primaries. Maybe we have to let them know. Obama’s bad history didn’t stop at Ayers, take a break, and then resume in the general election! The Hillary phase of his “badness” might even be the most significant time (as it made the dems lose a lot of members), and including it shows that BO has a loooooong, uninterupted life of cheating, etc. He’s goooood at it!

During the conversation Mayer claims to be a general practitioner for 4 year which Jackson praises and uses to further her pro Health Care talks. (Side Note this was the Rep who was Talking on her Cell Phone while someone was asking her a question at last Town Hall Meeting)
Turns out Mayer is not a doctor.
Mayer was however one of Obama’s delegates last year.

I watched the Obama vs Montana clip. That was definitely a stacked in Obama ’s favor audience. Obama looked like the shiny shoed city slicker that real Montanans like to play practical jokes on. He wouldn’t last too long in a bar in Missoula.

I am in Montana and I must say that the town hall looked rigged. I also read on the local news blog that they gave the tickets out an hour earlier then they should have. Not sure it would have mattered but I find this to be wrong no matter what. There is video feed of the protest though and there seems to be a pretty big crowd.
I also thought it was wierd that only a few clapped about the NRA speaker. Guns are as common as snow up here and the majority of the state cling to them as if it was their religion.
Yeah..I thought you guys were bitter types like I am.
I bet most of you revere the constitution as well.
Only two people clapped tepidly at the sound of that glorious word.

Where there are thousands coming out to speak up there are thousands, maybe even millions more at home thinking the same thing! His little made up images and signs he feels he must have for every occasion give us the creeps. They look weird in their blue fields with red stripes and some sort of muslim/communist looking cresent on them. His health care sign with ghostly looking lines of people standing there and again his 3 stars and logo just like the nazi signs remind us of the jews lines up for the gas chambers.
The people he places close to him, Rahm, the Eugenists, the black liberationists he makes czars of, the out and out communists he is trying to go around congerss to stack our government with, gives us the creeps.
The fact that his AG Holder, when he FIRST comes to power calls all of us in the nation COWARDS ON RACE, and then proceeds to let off the black panthers who were intimidating voters gives us the creeps. The fact that they were even allowed to be outside a polling place and that one has been cleared to be a poll watcher next election is creepy.
His website for Americans to TURN IN other Americans because something they expressed in their rights as Americans to exercise freedom of speech because it was somehow “fishy” is Hitleresque and creepy.
His hoards of Americorp, and ACORN, and Organize for America people with their bling following and military style plans for our children to be indoctrinated in some sort of forced so called community service is creepy. The fact that our tax dollars are taken from us to fund these tax free entities who are investigated for voter fraud, and embezelment of those tax payer dollars, who try to win through intimidation is creepy.
The way his wife has this look of absolute hatred on her face when they catch her not knowing the camera is there is creepy.
The things they both say about this being a great country, and they are going to change that. That Barak will REQUIRE you to engage, and there will be sacrifice, and for the first time in her life she is proud of her country is creepy.
Telling people they need to do something (anything) so that all can be equal is something we have heard too many times in other countries as we watched or read in our history books about how millions have been tortured and killed to atain that utopian ideal of equal is creepy.
A sitting US Senator going to Kenya and campaigning for a family member who wants to install sharia law in all of it’s abhorant forms to women and then is later heard of hacking up Christians is creepy.
The fawning followers and media coverage bought and paid for makes us wonder if the whole of what we always considered principaled people were always fooling us. Most people just realized after his death that even Walter Cronkite the man they always looked to in their times of trouble in the country was one of THEM! One of those who thinks the best path for us is to give over all of our freedoms to some sort of world power to be led around from birth to death by a human concept of good and equal for all. That is creepy!
And most of all the powers in the dark behind him, the Rockafellers, Soros the country killer, the Kennedys, the Bilderbergs, the tri-lateral, the UN, and EU, all point to what we just feel is the untimate goal of them and that is domination and destruction of America, it’s constitution, and our way of life! That because of this country’s greatness we should somehow be ashamed and give it all up so that all in the world be they good or bad, if they want to kill us or not can have the same. We do not understand how they cannot see, that by making us weak they make the whole world weak because America and the wonderful people of this country will no longer be there to fight their wars against those who would conquer them, or rescue them from disasters and bring them food, and comfort. We will no longer be there for them, and believe me it would not take long for them to notice our absence.
Any president that stands before countries some allies, some not and declares to them that America is not a Christian nation is an abomination to us! We are a Christian nation, we were FOUNDED on God’s laws, our CONSTITUTION, was written by Godly men and patterened after the rules of morality and love for one’s neighbor. And whenever ANYONE we elect to represent us attempts to tell us, and other countries, that we no longer back Isreal, and we no longer believe in the principles installed in the constitution, and we do not want God to be a part of our government and country we say to that person: YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA, AND YOU SIR HAVE NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY TO REPRESENT US, OR SPEAK FOR US!

Why?
The bags they want to eliminate through the 20c tax are grocery bags which I don’t make which are made in china from a certain resin mix that is not made here in the states do to high pollution in the manufacturing process.
Even though I voted against this STUPID tax from our Nanny Mayor indirectly this ban actually helps me.
Since I make industrial bags any size you will find me offering alternatives to end users and consumers when they call.

Had a 300 slip Marina Built with taxpayer Money ..( By NOT allowing the taxpayers to Vote on it) then got developers to build A whole row of Waterfront Condos above and beside the marina..just before the Bubble Burst..
Now they are being sold at auction..and the marina…which we were promised would pay for itself has 1/3 Occupancy..
Now, he just stepped down from his MAYORS Job, to Become EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of the PORT…foran EXTRA 50,000 a year above His Mayor Salary..
Oh, and on the way out, He and city Council are proposing adding 30 dollars to our Vehicle registration Fees…to Pay for all the Pot Holes in the other 95 % of the City..
