At 9 p.m. ET: ACORN Insider Turned Whistleblower Anita MonCrief on No Quarter Radio’s Sins of Omission
By Linda Anselmi on September 21, 2009 at 5:58 PM in Current Affairs
Program concluded, but you can listen at ANY time to the archived radio show in its entirety!
Join Sins of Omission Monday, September 21st at 9pm (ET) as host Paulie Abeles talks to Anita MonCrief the former ACORN insider turned whistleblower who was interviewed at length by a New York Times reporter. But that investigative news article, full of damning revelations on ACORN, was never published by the New York Times. On October 21, 2008 the story was killed.
In the 2008 election, allegations swirled about then-Candidate Obama’s close ties to the Association for Community Organizations for Reform Now (better known by its acronym ACORN).
At the time, ACORN was being investigated by Attorney Generals (both Democratic and Republican) in 15 states for fraudulent voter registrations. Perhaps lesser known, but still controversial were ACORN’s alleged ties to the subprime mortgage crisis. Critics contended ACORN had secured billions of dollars in loans for unqualified applicants it knew could not repay the loans.
In July, 2008, an employee of ACORN, Anita MonCrief was contacted by the New York Times about ties between the Obama campaign and ACORN—specifically that the Obama campaign had provided a list of its maxxed out donors to ACORN to solicit—a violation of FEC law. The Times never printed the story.

More Terrorist for us to worry about? And is it possible we are losong our country at a rapid rate? And why did the media fail to report this!?

MG nothing the media fails to report surprises me anymore. I swear, the entire country could be on fire and they’d be yucking it up about “It’s a little warm out there today”!
This is why the government is looking so hard for ways to control access to the internet. We “the unwashed masses” are finding out far too much about what they’re up to when surfing the net. Scares the heck out of ‘em.
