How Well Do You Know Yourself?

racism_flowchart-450x432

Apologies all for my prolonged absence - getting married, changing jobs, moving apartments and turning 30 years old are to blame (and, just in case you were wondering, they were awesome, good, not so good and great, respectively).

And while I’m at it, forgive me also for flogging a dead horse with the above.

But, hey, if it’s acceptable for the Obama administration and all those affiliated with it to whine incessantly about racism (of the overt, covert, latent, imaginary and genetically-ingrained varieties), then who am I to stop the party?

So please follow the fool-proof chart and discover, much to your own amazement, the racism that you didn’t even realize resided within you.

You dirty, little racist-oppressor-colonialist, you.

But it still looks a little complex to me. Isn’t there a simpler way of displaying this information? What was it again?

Oh, yeah: white = racist.

Anyone disagree (white racists aside)?

PS - Click here to enlargify the image. Hmm, is that even a word? Magnify… enlargify… magnify… nah, enlargify’s way better.

Track–good article. Believe me. You are not flogging a dead horse. This is Mr. Obama’s ace in the hole. From South Carolina, all the way up to Health Care. It is who he is. It if what he does. Occasionally it slips out in careless comments, i.e. typical white person, stupid white cop, etc. Most of the time he uses corrupt surrogates like Clyburn and big media to promote it. And you will see it again–guaranteed when we get to the amnesty part of the Soros agenda he is implementing. But he will distance himself from it and try to position himself as the great healer. It is like the vignette in the movie Goodfellas where the hapless restaurant owner comes to the mafia capo for help and the capo gives it this is your problem, not mine, what do you want from me crap. It is called a protection racket only here the res is the race card. Get ready for another sermon. How do I know? I know because this is what a one trick poney does.

I know myself pretty well, and I have a good read on Mr. Obama, also. He reminds me of Jim Jones.

Obama’s Speeches– The President Mentions Self Nearly 1,200 Times!

The White House is occupied by a Narcissist. What a shame for a great nation born of liberty!

Of course, to Democrats, they don’t think Obama is overexposed. 54% say they see or hear him about the right amount.

Osellingbullshit, great find.

It’s nothing unusual for politicians to adore themselves, but Obama’s approaching a John Edwards level of self-love.

Not to mention ol’ Hair Plugs Joe, of course.

I was taught at a young age that real racism is stupid.
Today the word is used as excuse to not have to think when someone disagrees with your view point.

This article about backtrack is very thought provoking.
Does it explain why there is such a disconnect between the American people and some of the backtrack bunch?

Thanks for the link, HelenK–it’s a great article.

Track–Thanks for boiling this down. I do prefer the direct approach. Now that it’s all clear, does this mean I don’t have to listen to so many Obama lectures? Please?

The charge of “Racism!” is the new McCarthyism.

I find this whole chart and racial crap a bit absurd.
I have bi-racial children and grandchildren which all live in my household. All of this racial crap isn’t good for society, I worry about the after effect. By this chart I am a racist. Duh? How does that compute? Well I was born in the south, and I didn’t support him in the primary or the general. Does any of this crap really make any sense??

Comment by jwrjr | 2009-09-23 13:07:11

It is absurd (to say the least). That’s the point of it.

Comment by Track-A-'Crat | 2009-09-23 15:12:05

SoCalDem - you’ve hit the nail on the head. In their focus on today only, those using the racist charge with abandon cannot see the damage that they’re storing up for tomorrow.

Slandering tens of millions of people as racists (which, in my mind, is pretty much the most offensive personal insult possible) simply because of their opposition to a president’s policies is a wonderful way to divide society further.

And to do so under the guise of anti-racism is as detestable as it sounds.

Obama is TWO, I repeat, TWO races in one. Having said that, yes, I think there IS racism directed at him….racism against his WHITE half, that is.
Wait a minute! I must contradict myself, because racism against whites is not considered racism at all in this country. Nevermind.

Comment by samb | 2009-09-23 15:04:44

Obama needs to embrace his inner white person. OH, THAT’S PROBABLY A RACIST SUGGESTION. ( isn’t Obama the man who is like all of us , OH THAT WAS ONLY WHEN HE WAS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, stupid stupid me .

I got to the south question. Now how do I get out of that box? or is it a life sentence ;(? I got a bunch of black friends here in the south too, but they tell me that black people can’t be racist because of their past. Apparently racism is unique to white folks and suffering is unique to black folks and hypocrits are common among both (white and black). White is beautiful and black isn’t bad and class and character isn’t inherited but learned. Some of my black friends says the dude in the oval office is a trouble making M—–F—–. We (some of us black and white) do have common grounds. Does white = racist? In the south? Does a duck like water:)

Years ago Kevin Kline made a movie called “In and Out”. He played a teacher who finally came out as a gay man when he was outed at the high school graduation. Because he was so well-liked by his students, they showed their respect for him as they stood up one by one, in cap and gown, and declared, “And I’m gay.” Then people in the audience stood up, too.

I think of that scene because there were those on the school’s faculty who tried to make being gay into something outrageous and shameful. By standing up and speaking out as a group the students made the label into one that was innocuous and even one to take pride in. Certainly those students diffused the ridicule intended by the bigots in the crowd.

So maybe we all should just stand up and say, “Okay, if being a racist is anyone who opposes BO, then I’m a racist.”

I actually HAVE said that … and I am NOT white! But incredibly, I have been called “racist” for supporting Hillary over Obama in the primaries. Does that make sense? Of course not. So, I just thought I would play into it just to show how absurd the whole notion is.

I’m not a Repub, but I think you should look a little deeper. Most hardcore racists despise the Repubs — they consider them to be weak on immigration, welfare fraud, etc., which indicates to them “support” for “minorities”. Add to that, the Republican National Committee is now headed by a black man, Michael Steele — a fact that has the racists tearing their bigoted hair out.

Comment by MrX | 2009-09-24 23:28:49

Obots see racists everywhere. The racists walk around like normal people. The racists don’t even know they’re racist.

Sorry, but the real racists are the Obots who projects their own racism onto others.
