Maybe it's because I have a daughter? If Polanski had molested or raped my daughter, he wouldn't have had the option of jail. I am sorry for his past tragedies, but sorry, losing a loved one doesn't give you carte blanche for your own depraved activities. The upside for us for the 30 year wait is that the courts will be much tougher in sentencing (I hope). Ninety days for drugging and raping a child? Travesty. She, this advocate of women's rights, excoriates the Swiss for their outrageous, disgraceful, and unjustified compliance with US authorities for arresting Polanski in Zurich, where he was to receive an "honorary award" at a film festival. I could "not" believe what I was reading.
