Chicago is a nice city, but Rio seems more exotic than the other 3 cities combined. I didn't think they'd win because of their corruption and high crime rate, but then again the Olympics made a point by going into China and the World Cup made a point by going into South Africa. Maybe this group wanted to put their own stamp on the selection process. On the other hand the selection process is still probably pretty corrupt. I remember a quote from one of the Salt Lake City guys saying they had to spend at least as much as the Japanese did.
