Democrats Rue the Obama Halloween Surprise

So you are in a bar. Lights are low. You’ve been over served with an adult beverage. The music is seductive and a good looking lady sidles up and makes you an offer you cannot refuse.
But she’s not just any lady. It is Marilyn Monroe (the 28 year old version, not the 82 year old). So you go to bed. You have a night of mad passion.
And the next morning?
Turns out you went to bed with Marilyn Manson.
Whoops.
Well that’s what is happening to Democrats who chugged down the Obama kool-aid. Buyer’s remorse is setting in big time.

My friend, Brent Budowsky, who has been a big Obama booster just wrote this:
The Nobel Prize gets to the heart of the matter of the Obama presidency. The prize was not awarded to President Obama, but to the idea of Obama.
Voters may vote for an idea. Prizes may be awarded for an idea. But war and peace, prosperity and joblessness, legislation and treaties, illness and health, are not decided by the idea of the candidate but the actions of the president who is elected.What made Roosevelt Roosevelt, Kennedy Kennedy and Reagan Reagan was that the idea of their persona during the campaign was followed by their actions during their presidencies.
This has not happened yet with Barack Obama. The difference between the idea and the actions, the persona and the program, the words and the deeds will ultimately define the success or failure of the Obama presidency.
The Jerusalem Post piece was troubling because it is true. There is a pattern that others repeatedly say no to the president. Passing weak legislation and calling it a “W” does not change the pattern of his presidency or satisfy the powerful yearning for change that is not realized by promises, public relations or the cult of personality.
Virtually every player in the Middle East has said no to the president. Banks and Wall Street say no to the president. The Europe that said yes to the Nobel Prize says no to giving more support for Afghanistan. The president even snubbed the Dalai Lama in anticipation the Chinese would say no. The list is long of those who say no and short of those who say yes.
It is time to worry when “Saturday Night Live” makes fun of the president for achieving so little. It is time for alarm when so many power players believe this president can be rolled. Even a Senate where Democrats have 60 votes shows an almost daily disrespect for the president.
The reason so many power centers, at home and internationally, say no to the president is that they do not know his bottom line. They believe he may shift with the winds. They know he accepts a tiny loaf while claiming a big victory. They believe he can be rolled.
Tom Tomorrow and Brent Budowsky are not isolated voices. The bloom is off the rose. The Dems hopped into bed with a Marilyn Monroe beauty queen and have awakened with a Marilyn Manson nightmare. Trick or treat!

Obama was never qualified to be President . . or U.S. Senator . . or for that matter State Senator. He is not as smart was everyone makes him out to be. MSM has to be reformed-they have a played a major role in this mess…..There is a need for a third party-which is not corrupted by greed and power? Americans need a party which is not controlled by the international corporations.

As institutions of propaganda they are a resounding success, and the intended result is “this mess,” out of which the international corporations, owned by greedy and powerful individuals, continue to amass wealth and power. Perhaps a systematic investigation of his machinations would throw some light on the subject. And steve1 I share your hope that we will change this fairy tale in 2010.

Disillusionment will become pervasive.
Paglia represents an interesting test case for the evolution of disillusionment re: Obama. Although she can sometimes be annoying, I respect her independence of mind and ability to admit her mistakes. While she strongly supported Obama during the campaign, she was also a real rarity in her admiration of Palin’s feisty approach.
Also reassuring to see Tom Tomorrow, Jon Stewart and other comedians finally waking up and doing their job.

I recall that the “idea” of Obama also got Hillary to carve away her FL delegates in the primaries and hand half of hers to he who wasn’t even on the Michigan ballot. That’s exactly the point at which I said to hell with the Democratic Party — you just justified Bush’s stealing the 2000 election and you didn’t bat an eye.

At first I thought you were going with the Kennedy brothers when I saw the photo of Monroe. I thought maybe it would be a post about the Dead Kennedys.
But, this about Obama is a real frightmare.
I liked Dr. Long’s contention that Obama was only a brand. It’s definitely a brand that we can hope will soon be recalled.
Yep, he was an advertising dream. The people who “shopped” his brand to the gullible public should be held accountable but I for one, don’t want to emulate their “permanent revenge” tactic…too much to do getting them out of office. We can’t lose in 2010. Hopefully the youth will have their hair standing on end by then, contemplating the massive taxes they will be facing on everything from soup to nuts to pay for the national error.
It would be great, but unfortunately the real impact of 0zer0’s health care reform will not kick in until 2013 and then it will probably take a year or so before a lot of people really see what they have gotten themselves into and by then the damage will have been done. (Most of us who follow NQ realized the damage was done when 0zer0 became president.)

Thus, Obama and Tim Geithner most probably were childhood friends. Remember Tony Rezko? Obama used Rezko to launder about $100 million of taxpayer dollars while Obama was still a State Senator. Geithner is Obama’s right hand in accessing the Tony Rezkos (people like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates) of the national level for Obama and the Democrats while he’s President. That’s why that with all this trouble about AIG, Obama is still not going to get rid of Geithner. Geithner is a valuable tool for them to rob this country through its national policies.

China knows that if the US is to become Socialist/Marxist, our country will no longer lead the world in innovation and technology. China has their own plans for world “hemogany”. There is also a solid link between the Islamic Banking Cooperative, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, The Ford Foundation, Devron Bank of Chicago and the Bank of Indonesia (Stanley A. Dunham was a research coordinator at this bank and a program officer for the Ford Foundation).
Devron began selling Islamic home refinancing products for Muslims to Freddie Mac (see below).
Hillary has supported microfinance because it empowers women in poor countries. Perhaps some people have used it for bad reasons, but Hillary has always been a public servant, and has always worked to empower women.

Why would Hawaii aid a known illegal of British birth in illegally obtaining a fake birth certificate?
The answer is: in 1961 the American public had not yet been herded by Teddy Kennedy and socialists into providing welfare benefits to illegals. Hawaii had a large population of illegals who were slave labor, but were a huge burden to the system in poverty and crime.
The Hawaiian answer, as it was a Democratic state and still is, was to start registering all those foreign kids by the thousands. The purpose being to tap into all those federal hundreds of millions then which would profit the state. All of those poverty programs flowed funds into the pockets of the retailers as the golden goose pipeline.
If one makes citizens out of illegals, then Hawaii converts a debt into their asset in obtaining more funds and growing the socialist system which empowers Democratic liberals.
The fact is there are hundreds of thousands of “Barack Obamas” registered in Hawaii.
Do you think even a Republican governor sitting on this explosive mess wants any of this coming out?
Not for one moment though have the Rothschilds nor Rockefellers not known Barry Soetero is dripping wet with fraud. Bill Clinton constantly hinting at “Constitutional qualifications” means in the boardrooms where these people meet, they have discussed it, have the paper trail and have Obama by his testicles that Jesse Jackson wanted to cut off. There is a lot more in the continuing saga of Obama and his identity fraud made up by his family to obtain “free” education but what started off as a little name changing and birth certificate switching to be American when you want and Indonesian when it suits has snowballed out of control into now a massive coverup which will cause the whole country to rock out of control when it all finally comes out.
And it will finally come out. All of these documents are now under freedom of information statutes and they are daily being requested daily by people. They can only hold off for so long in giving them out.
It is time to be scared…very scared. We have a moron in the White House.

Wonderful words are great but we rise or fall on our actions, not simply our words. To pretend otherwise is to dilute the words to action that have been spoken, written and then delivered on throughout history. Our Founding Fathers did not simply mouth the words. They lived them, were willing to risk everything on them. Had the Revolution gone the other way, all those men we quote endlessly, would have been hanged. They knew that. But they said and wrote the words and acted on them anyway.
If the trance is ending, I’m glad. But we shouldn’t fool ourselves–the task ahead is weighty. Our system is being undermined, domestically and abroad. Anyone who cherishes what the USA has been, what it’s meant to people, better wake up and take a good, hard look.
This is the worst time to have a hollow, effete Administration, who talks a good talk but blows over in the wind. Our financial health right now is on critical list. And the wolves at the door? They can’t wait to bring the house down.
But oddly enough, I hard a radio report saying the WH was still involved in a game of chess, not checkers. You know the 11-dimensional chess game?
I never believed it. Still don’t.
