While in college I also worked as a garbage collector one summer, with all the “benefits” and walked soy beans cutting weeds with a machete the other two summers to make enough to augment the money I was getting to pay for college and eat. I graduated with honors in 3 1/2 years with a degree in Chemistry and Philosophy. No small achievement. I’ve been working ever since, to include 4 moves and 5 temporary assignments away from my family.
