I'm tired of the few deciding the outcome for the rest and I'm tired of whiners who bitch about the government but don't lift a finger to do anything about it. It is counterproductive and illogical. It is one's duty to vote--period. I served at 18 and voted at 18, 34 years ago–and I still vote. Their vote in the last election was determined by a rock concert. If you think I'm exaggerating the emptiness of these younger people, I can tell that this phenomena is not restricted to that age group. In the sixties, I worked in a factory in NH. Out of 12 middle-aged workers, men and women working in my section, none knew that Johnson was President. The country was safe from this group because they never voted. Unfortunately we can't say that about the empty youth in the last election, and look who we got - a tool for socialism and communislm - a community organizer. Tragic.
