Sins of Omission With Paulie Abeles canceled tonight * Open Thread

I’m sure that all of Paulie Abeles’ fans will want to know that Paulie is battling H1N1. She would do her show if she had to crawl to her telephone. But just not tonight. Paulie will be back next Monday, we’re sure.
And this is an open thread so you can send Paulie your best wishes (!) and also bring up anything you’ve spotted in the news.
This morning, I heard Mika on Morning Joe complain that she cannot find the vaccine for her children. Another friend just told me that his wife is getting the vaccine tomorrow because she works on a high-risk hospital unit. (I.e., the vaccine has not been available before now to this high-priority person.)
From Paulie’s descriptions of this flu, it is quite serious. She is truly one sick woman. Let’s hope that the high-risk groups (pregnant women, etc.) get the vaccine ASAP.
