NEW YORK (AP) – Yankees manager Joe Girardi benched slumping outfielder Nick Swisher for Game 2 of the World Series on Thursday night and again put Jose Molina behind the plate to catch A.J. Burnett.

Philadelphia also had a different lineup. Raul Ibanez moved from designated hitter to left field and Matt Stairs was the DH.

If people think Cliff Lee is arrogant, maybe that is what they see. Myself, I am so thrilled that the Phillies acqired a pitcher like Lee, that I may be overlooking his arrogance. I know that I will never see my team win as many WSC as the Yankees, but for them to go to the series 2 years in a row is almost as close for me. If they win 2 years in a row, it will be a little piece of Heaven for me, if not I will still love them. To me, they will still be number 1, as I am sure all fans feel about their favorite team. Cliff Lee pitched brilliantly and had the Yankee lineup completely off balance. It was up to the bullpen, however, too keep us in the game . . . and they didn't. Maybe too young and inexperienced?
