Not only in the fall but it will hurt the Dem party for a very long time to come..how sad..but many dems i know are changing affiliation to indy right now in Florida, and from what i understand candidates down ticket are having a hard time getting contributions!

People who i work with and have for many years are saying if Obama is the nominee ..no one is going to do the work nessesary..people are dropping out fast!

There will be little to no support for Obama..many dems here are telling me they will hold their nose and vote McCain!

I am asking people to just write in Mickey Mouse to send a loud and clear message to Dean , brazile and all the rest who are selling our votes out here in Florida, if they annoint Obama without our votes counting on the nominee.

We must make a statement ..and we will, count on that.

Obama did campaign in Florida..he was the only candidate out of all the candidates that camp[aigned and ran commericals for a couple weeks at a cost of 1.3 million that ran in Florida ..before our Florida election..so this is total bogus bullshit!

Obama brome his pledge and no other candidate did , in fact his commericals cost more than the campaigning than 8 of the republican candidates in florida..

TAMPA – Barack Obama hinted during a Tampa fundraiser Sunday that if he’s the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, he’ll seat a Florida delegation at the party’s national convention, despite national party sanctions prohibiting it.

Obama also appeared to violate a pledge he and the other leading candidates took by holding a brief news conference outside the fundraiser. That was less than a day after the pledge took effect Saturday, and Obama is the first Democratic presidential candidate to visit Florida since then.

Obama and others have pledged not to campaign in Florida until the Jan. 29 primary except for fundraising, which is what he was doing in Tampa.

But after the fundraiser at the Hyde Park home of Tom and Linda Scarritt, Obama crossed the street to take half a dozen questions from reporters waiting there.

The pledge covers anything referred to in Democratic National Committee rules as “campaigning,” and those include “holding news conferences.”

Obama seemed unaware the pledge he signed prohibits news conferences. Asked whether he was violating it, he said, “I was just doing you guys a favor. … If that’s the case, then we won’t do it again.”

I think that’s true. Just go over to The Corner at NRO. You won’t agree with most of what is said over there, but it’s said with great civility, and the women are neither denigrated nor patronized. They are treated as equals.

But they won’t. Instead they are trying to cover their behinds and their stupid mistake by pushing Hillary out. If she would just quit, Obama could be anointed, and the Michigan and Florida delegations could be seated and allowed to rubber-stamp Obama.

I knew then it was all over for this election. That was when the UGLY started and wasn’t going to stop. Obama is not the one.

I don’t have white guilt, and I paid my dues to AAs during the 60s, 70s and 80s. When AA educated professionals start calling former presidents and others “racist,” you might as well wrap it up. We are going to have to wait for a more enlightened, tolerant AA to come along. Maybe someone from the ranks of the middle class or even the projects, who had to pull himself up, work his way through college, pay his student loans,
maybe struggle a little so that he knows how the majority of people (both AA and white) survive in this country.

There’s nothing wrong with being middle class. We are the best people in the world. We give to all and support all. This country would come to a stand still if we stopped working for one day. We have integrity, patriotism, character, and we know a loser when we see one.
