I first heard about TIPS from the Suze Orman show but she was general and the people I have my mutual funds with, are not very helpful. From what I'm getting, correct me if I'm wrong, is that don't be leary of diversifying and even buying stocks, just watch it closely and do low/no risk if you are going to need the money within 10 years.
