Will ACORN & Obots Infiltrate and Disrupt Tax Day Events?

I am SHOCKED that Obots would use the race card! I am stunned they’d thuggishly try to take over an event. Well, there was that ONE time during the caucuses, but they were just excited! They’d never undermine us! Would they? (The spokepersons’ confidence is inspiring, but I hope they aren’t naive or unaware of how insidious, vicious and amoral the ACORN and HuffPo groups are, and are highly vigilant.)

On Wednesday, April 15th, concerned citizens will gather on the steps of the Massachusetts State House in Boston to protest government policies of reckless spending and punitive taxation.

Boston, Massachusetts April 8, 2009 – Inspired by the growing Tea Party movement sweeping the nation, organizers have scheduled a Tax Day Tea Party to take place at the Massachusetts State House on Wednesday, April 15th from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. The protest will feature speakers from Massachusetts’ grassroots, business and conservative leadership, welcoming over 1,500 followers who have committed to attending to voice their displeasure with the egregious growth of government and the irresponsible policies our local, state and federal governments are pursuing. Speakers, led by emcee Todd Feinburg of WRKO-AM 680, will take to the steps at 12:00 PM, offering their opinions and suggestions as to how to best deal with the recession and the government’s role therein.

The goal of the organizers of the protest has always been to provide a platform for citizens and grassroots leaders to come together in hopes of inspiring participation in the conservative movement, with a focus on recruiting conservative candidates for the 2010 elections. Carla Howell, Committee for Small Government, State Senator Bob Hedlund, R-MA, Jim Stergios, Executive Director of the Pioneer Institute, Michael Johns, conservative leader and writer, David Tuerck, Executive Director of the Beacon Hill Institute, Brad Marston, ConservativeSolutions.org, Chip Faulkner, Associate Director of Citizens of Limited Taxation, Shawni Littlehale of Smart Girl Politics, Barry Hinckley, MA State Director of FairTax.org and Sheridan Folger of Sovereignty Alliance will all speak.

Organized by three conservative women of varying political affiliations and backgrounds – a college student, a recent law school graduate and a stay-home mom – this protest has grown from 300 Facebook members to over 1,500 online members on various web pages on the internet. While the organizers have not received funds for any organization or political party, they have managed to coordinate volunteers, recruit speakers and secure permits from the city to hold the event in conjunction with over 300 protests being held nationwide on Tax Day, April 15th.

      Oh, they won’t just do that. They will show up with blatantly racist signs, pose as supporters, and try to incite violence, etc, so as to smear the whole movement.

      Watch. It will happen. Just as many of the blatantly racist and hate-filled comments on this and other blogs during the election came from Obama supporters trying to discredit us.

        I think I will take my laptop and a big screen. Show all the Obama stuff I saved the MSM never showed and begin introducing them to just what they voted for.

        How would this be for a loop? Obama campaigning for Odinga, then watching all the people murdered with a machete over and over when he lost. Cut to Odinga calling him during the primary. Can’t deny it’s Obama I have the video.

        Or how about a loop of what Obama’s district looked like before he was in office, and the children freezing, that died because he did such a great job.

        Or how about the women’s protest because they were being charged for processing their rape kits, with over 100,000 not even being tested in his district.

        Or his great speech in 2002 that couldn’t have happened the way he said because Colin Powell never gave his speech till 2003.

      I will be attending the Tea Party at my home town. Meanwhile it looks as if some other organizers are gathering their members [mob] too, for their own party(s). The small town residents of Marshall Texas have been waking up to find KKK fliers in their yards asking for new recruits. This may be to answer Al Sharpton’s mob when he marches in Homer Louisianna???? I wont be attending either of those two parties. But who knows, there may be a little excitement about to begin. Marshall is about ten miles from where I live but I don’t call that my home town. :)

        Yes, this may be happening. I occasionally peruse stormfront to find out what the more extreme elements of our society (aka “lunatics”) are ranting about. There’s a current ACORN Aims To Torpedo Tax Day “Tea Parties” thread. Some of the comments give one pause, though it should be remembered that most of these people tend to histrionic posturing. Still, it demonstrates that even reasonable causes can draw totally unreasonable people.

        Mr. Cavuto might want to consider that there could be more to think about than FOX’s favorite boogeyman organization. Acting out is far more common on the extreme right than on the left.

      My area tea party has already issued warnings, and examples of appropriate and inappropriate signs on their website. This is to be a peaceful, NON-PARTISAN protest. No anti-Obama or Anti-democrat signs allowed.

      I think that anyone disruptive is going to be in for a rude awakening.

    i don’ know if they have the chutzpah or even feel the need to do it here, but I almost wish they would.

    We are having one here in Santa Fe that I will be attending. And it’s the day after a meeting by our County Commissioners who were having a hearing on whether to raise our taxes 1.00 per thousand value on every home in our country to give a rebate program for individuals making less than 24K. Making less than 24k and how are they supposed to afford a home in Santa Fe?????

    Of course, the folks benefitting would not even be a fraction, it’s really a disguise to raise millions more for funding. They were unhappy when their measure to apply a home sales tax was defeated in November. See the kind of corruptionn and taxing Richardson brought this state?

    Sales tax has been raised so many times.

    Anyhow, I almost wish ACORN would try to disrupt services here. I would yell back “Get in their face, argue with them. Only Americans are sick of Community organizers bullying and intimidations.”

      Oh, and we will have a true blue Democrat, former Senator Grubesic, he was one who put together legislation to impeach Bush/Cheney in the 2007 Session at the event as well!!!

      He was also the one who wrote an oped basically wishing Richardson good riddance on his speedy departure from New Mexico, when he was nominated for Sctry Commerce.

    Another good site for finding locally scheduled protests is teapartyday dot com. Here in New Hampshire there are about a dozen parties scheduled in addition to the big one in Victory Park in Manchester. I’m considering going to one in Portsmouth since it’s closer to home. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about all the folks here who are fed up and disgusted and ready to speak up.

    As someone who saw firsthand last June in Unity, NH, how nasty BO supporters (ACORN?) can be to anyone who respectfully disagrees, I wouldn’t underestimate their possible efforts to disrupt any tea parties.

    Please, if you attend one, don’t let them provoke you. They will even try to get you arrested if possible. Trust me on this. They can get mean!

      This is the same attitude and tactics Bush supporters used. It was bad then. When Obama supporters do it it’s okay.

    Obama and his supporters cannot hide behind the race card to mask BO’s incompetence. BO and the Democracts have declared war on capitalism and its citizens. It is the taxpayers of the nation that are footing the obscene bill of a 500 person entourage for BO’s latest field trip to Europe and the Middle East.

    Checklist of BO’s socialist policies
    - firing the CEO of a major auto maker
    - Acorn part of the census to tamper with census figures to favor the Dems
    - the carbon tax
    - shifting Veterans care to the private sector
    - union check card system
    - Congress passing economic bills that they do not even read
    - legislating executive and compensation pay
    - forcing auto makers to make cars that Americans do not want to buy
    - asking Americans to sacrifice while BO and Dems are spending wildly – WH Wednesday parties, constant trips around the country as if he’s still campaigning
    - abuse of the press – censorhip by the Obama hacks in the media
    - nominating Cabinet appointees that cheat on their taxes while the rest of us have to pay federal, state, & sales taxes

    Yes, I realize that BO reversed himself on some of these policies ( Vets care, etc.) but, the fact that he even proposed such an idea speaks volumes about Obama’s agenda….

    Kudos to these Tea Parties!
