I couldn’t get this video to play, but I saw one earlier and I suppose it’s in the eye of the beholder because it appeared to me she was laughing at the irony and every thing she said was thoughtful and clear. I know every time some criticism of Hillary comes up, while I’m not doubting your sincerity in your support of her, you are pretty consistently negative, I’mFedUp. You’ll see it your way and I’ll see it mine. I read she began to contact people as soon as she got the news which is what I would expect her to do.

Hillary’s laughter in that video is a reflection of the irony taking place. The fact that Morocco and the US came together to get rid of piracy 200 years ago and did successfully get rid of it, and here she is again, in Morocco, asking for help to end the piracy. The irony is not lost on her or the Moroccan Foreign Minister.

It is ridiculous with all of our modern military equipment, technology, etc. that we are still dealing with and plagued with piracy in this so-called modern era.

Her laughter was not inappropriate and she completely recognizes the seriousness of the situation and the continuing piracy problem.

anyone notice that every time 0bama and his minions are asked a question they dont want to answer they call it a “distraction”? 0 used this phrase during the primaries and the election, whenever someone brought up anything disparaging (like the truth) about him. so pirates attacking american ships is a distraction? he says he needs to focus on the ecomomy? then stop flying around the world with 500 lackeys (and not one of them had the intelligence to tell him that the POS does NOT bow down to anyone) and stay home and do some real work for a “change”

I liked Ford and voted for him–don’t get me wrong. He was a good man. He just had no ability to pick people. Cheney was his Chief of Staff and Rummy was Defense Secretary.

Harold Brown was much better at Defense.

I don’t know whether Ford ever aspired to the job, but Carter did. The frustration of watching someone so inept during the hostage crisis is the only reason that so many rooted for Ross Perot. And for RR. Weak, ineffective leaders have rendered this nation powerless at some of the most critical junctures. Say what you will about Jerry, at least we didn’t see it all fall apart when Tricky walked into history ….

This is the only time I will defend Carter–I served in the Army under both Ford and Carter. Carter had a better Secretary of Defense as compared to that blithering idiot Rumsfeld under Ford. An empty chair would have been better than Rummy. He sucked then, sucked under Shrub and continues to suck to this day even as a private citizen.

If President Obama laughed while discussing such a serious subjects, you lot would be sputtering furious denunciations.

He already did, dimbulb. But you, in your self-induced, mesmerized state, didn’t catch it and even if you did you would never admit it because you, like him, are in love with yourself and the look and sound of your own twaddle posing as sophisticated banter. Your work is to the arts as KFC is to chicken and MTV and rap are to music.
