I went to Mydd first thing this morning to recommend this diary and it was not there – What happened?

so what is it that you are doing? are you being paid to lie and distort? are you kidding me, she would not be able to take on mccain in the fall? Give me 2 examples of how Obama would take on and beat mccain, just 2. Not only Obama but so-called “progressive” bloggers who are using the race card repeatedly like a fire hose. Its to the point now if you’re white and don’t support Obama you have to be a racist.

Funny thing is these “progressive” bloggers are merely doing a variant of what Bush did after 9/11. Where if you didn’t agree with him you were against the U.S. and “objectively pro-terrorist”.

Sam Seder is just a more polite male version of Randi Rhodes. All reason and common sense has disappeared on Air Obama. I cringe to recall that just a few months ago I listened to those people all day everyday. This Obamamania has been a wake-up call for me in so many ways.

welcome to the radio world. sam seder knows how to run out the clock on the air. having done literally thousands of hours of radio i can tell you there are few mistakes when the host runs out the clock. we look at the switchboard, almost always have a sidekick screening calls for any bombs then skip around to pick the calls we want to take.

in my case i rarely did a talk show format and mostly did voice work, hosting forums, all sorts of music shows, and some work for the local news coverage. most community stations don’t have a paid staff but when they do, those folks aren’t always the on-air personalities.

i used to wince at piss-poor hosts who would act like cowards after they raised issues they should have known would be very controversial or would raise the ire of the audience.

and unfortunately, and speaking from experience, liberal talk show hosts can be some of the worst because they seem to be bound by some bullshit code of “nice guy” that makes them passive aggressive most of the time.

As for Air America, the network has never been stellar anyway. It was a neat idea based in phony concepts about talk radio. I do clearly believe that America would love a ‘liberal’ network of sorts, but when it is showcased as such it fails because America doesn’t really want a ‘conservative’ network. Its kind of like what Outfoxed showed about Cablenews and how they all went dumb as shit when FoxNews showed up and went as low as possible. Now you have Glenn Fucking Beck!! Catering to the biases of listeners only makes more biased listeners. Build on a principle not a ideology.

Air America is the latte sellout radio version, the McRadio version of what Pacifica was trying to do for the last 60 years. Lew Hill founded Pacifica after WWII, after he lived in a concentration camp to be a contientious objector. He was doing it out of a principle. Air America was built on capitalistic ideals. There’s a big fucking difference between the two. Air America insulted Pacifica’s very existance by trying to pretend it was the first Liberal Network. Pacifica may have only 5 stations, but it has vast affiliates as well. Air America never learned from Pacifica’s mistakes or successes. Instead it simply went to Advertising radio. It played mimic to right wing radio, and look at the result, too many shockjocks.

And as for Gerafalo, let us not forget she’s an actress, a talented one no less, but as for radio?…not really. I think only Franken and the Young Turks are the only good thing to come out of Air America. I’d like to say Rachael Maddow, but after watching her on MSNBC I don’t think so. Smart in many ways, but her bias runs her and she puts on airs too much. She gets caught in the conversation and forgets to have much of a critical voice. There are others who get on the same shows that make her look like a complete MSNBC sell-out, trading access for integrity.

I heard Gerafalo’s take on Rhodes, and she blew credibility with the woman who matters in my home. She was deeply disappointed. “Awww…not her..damnit” Spoken like a fan disappointed.

Drink the kool-aid if you wish, but stay off the radio or become a part of the vast wastebin of AM radio talk show hosts.

1. Loss of $37,000 (probably not his own money so it can hardly be called a loss)

2. Gain of a $1,500,000 real estate land and house

3. Gain of at least $1,500,000 from not having to pay interest on the mortgage over its lifetime.

4. Gain of $10,000,000 for his house expenses over his time in that house (divide by 20 years, provides about $500,000 for expenses like heating, hydro, water, taxes, landscaping, snow removal, maintenance, renovations, travelling around the country and thus, air flights, hotels, restaurants, etc…)

I’m curious how he was living before his lawyer Obama became a US senator with the intention of running for president, thanks to the “donations” of campaign money by Rezko, a Syrian national, who if he was wealthy in Syria, means he was a Bath party member there, the same party as Saddam Hussein. Since Rezko loves politics so much, there can be no doubt of his connections to the Syrian and Iraq Bath parties – and since he was Obama’s principal backer, no surprise Obama would side with Saddam’s Bath party against the US Wash. parties.

It’s not a coincidence that Obama also got to expand his real estate, at a loss for the seller Rezko, a slum lord real-estate thief, so that Obama could increase his mansion. I’m not surprised to see Obama tied to a pair of twin real estate thefts.

Bush got rid of one Hussein supported by the Bath Party. Hopefully, McCain will get rid of the other one if Hillary can’t.
