Her comment was about how you could see blacks at the corner liquor store in the morning and this translated into how generally, blacks were lazy. I grew up in such a neighborhood. But for every one drunk I ever saw, I knew ten outstanding families who were hard working and usually better educated and better mannered than I. I say that to you now. Do not lump all African Americas into one negative group based on the comments and/or actions of a few. There always may be a fringe group who may act out but they do not represent the AA community as a whole no more than Timothy McVey represented white America. And if you doubt that, please pay close attention to Hillary's dedicated support group which includes a large amount of African Americas. (Why aren't 2nd or 3rd generation Haitains not called Haitain Americans? How about the Columbians? The Irish? The Russians? That we categorize a section of our population by color is still curious to me.) Having said all of that ... for the first time in my life I can tell you that I am "up to here" with the race issue.
