obama is unaware of tea parties?

Excuse me, but I have a huge problem with this:

Americans are attending over 500 non-partisan tea parties throughout the country today, and Obama has no idea?

Talk about out of touch.

Has he already forgotten that he works for we, the people? That these protests are for him, and members of Congress? This is outrageous. He doesn’t even know they are happening?

Tomorrow, I will join hundreds of thousands of Americans across the country to express anger over Congress’s irresponsible and reckless spending habits. Taxpayers are not deceived by the notion that the American economy can be revived by government simply spending its way out of a recession. They are a sophisticated people who recognize that continued overspending runs up massive deficits that ultimately lead to higher taxes and less freedom for all Americans.”

The liberal MSM can continue to smear these events with their supersillious mocking, and get their jollies off giggling about *tea bagging* but these are Americans who have a gawd damn right to be heard.

They are scared about the continued spending, and the impending tax hikes. This isn’t just about Obama and his campaign promise to cut taxes, which will be broken. It is about ongoing, continued government spending, creating massive deficits, that have to be repaid. With taxes.

In recent years, the federal government has spent more money than it takes in at an increasing rate. Total federal debt almost doubled during President George W. Bush’s administration and, as much as we needed some stimulus spending to boost the economy, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office now estimates total debt levels could almost double again over the next eight years based on the budget recently outlined by President Obama.

Regardless of what politicians tell you, any additional accumulations of debt are, absent dramatic reductions in the size and role of government, basically deferred tax increases. Remember the old saw? “You can pay me now or you can pay me later, with interest.”

To help put things in perspective, the Peterson Foundation calculated the federal government accumulated $56.4 trillion in total liabilities and unfunded promises for Medicare and Social Security as of September 30, 2008. The numbers used to calculate this figure come directly from the audited financial statements of the U.S. government.

If $56.4 trillion in financial commitments is too big a number to digest, think of it as $483,000 per American household, or $184,000 for every man, woman and child in the country.” More from David Walker here.

Can someone please send Obama a message on his blackberry and let him know about the tea parties? I know he’s kind of busy with his new dog, and all, but it is kind of important he knows how the people are feeling. (Not just how the liberal MSM tells him they are feeling.)

  • Arabella Trefoil

Obama doesn’t care about anybody except himself. He’ll be bored with his new pet doggy in another couple of weeks.

I hope that dog pees all over the Oval Office.

    • destardi

American Girl! Great job on you recent work here at No Quarter.

I’m completely for the Tea Party protests, but I DESPISE the fact that it’s considered “right wing”.

It’s funny, actually, because the Boston Tea Party would have been true patriots, but these days during the bush admin, there were “protest zones” etc. Conservatives would bitch about the anti-war protestors, and now they’re whining about obama administration calling them out as potential terrorists.

How’s it feel, now, right wing nutters?

      Not very nice, huh?

That’s precisely why I’ve had enough of this partisan BULLSHIT, and I’m sick of hearing every republican condemn every democrat, and vice versa.

And look how many fall for the trickery!

      • Ani

I’m sure you remember one of the reasons that Obama got a leg up on Hillary early in the primaries with some Dems — because they were tired of the partisan bickering and felt that he would usher in a new post partisan age — scandal free — we’d all hold hands in the WH and pass great bi-partisan legislation.

Now that was the true “fairy tale.”

And now the right can see how the left felt when we were protesting the Iraq war and called traitors.

        • mary

          Ani

right on! Precisely how I feel….the shoe’s on the other foot (forgive me, dear Dubya…)

      • Ellen D

If the new tea party movement has any media/money interests espousing it, it wouldn’t be much different than the original Boston Tea Party which roused the people into a potent political movement. Seems like a reasonable comparison.

        • tek

EllenD: You’re exactly right. The activities of the Sons of Liberty were planned and led by Sam Adams, brother of John. The purpose was to ignite public opinion against the Crown. Some of their activities could be classified as terrorism today. Nothing grass-roots about it.

I believe the Democrats are going to find out this protesting isn’t partisan far right stuff. We’re Democrats and we’re sick of working hard so churches and certain neighborhoods can collect millions that they don’t deserve.

      • Bill

My family claims to have had a member of the Boston Tea Party. The story, as handed down generation to generation, is less glamorous. More out of drunkenness at a local tavern some young men in anger at the tea tax dressed up as Indians and vandalized the ship. Inadvertently, patriotic but definitely inebriated.

I appreciate the modern Tea Parties and the sentiment but can’t get the image of staggering young punks lurching towards the wharf.

    • Carol HAKA

Another Lie coming out of the top Liar-in-Chief!

      CAROL HAKA

    • KR

Obama doesn’t want the Tea Parties to become a “distraction”. He is sooo busy, … isn’t Wednesdays his Whitehouse party nite?

      • b mathews

it was reported that the msm were in a frenzy over the WH dog. how come no referred to it as “a distraction” oh right..the dog was more important than what was going on in the country yesterday.

    • http://noquarter foxyladi14

it will..that.s what they do best,,

  • I’mFedUp

LMAO Arabelle…Of course that dog is for show. I don’t believe the Fraud ever wanted one for the obvious reasons. In the meantime…come ON. He “doesn’t know” about the Tea Parties? Wrongamundo. He has to know. He just doesn’t give a damn about America and Americans. Maybe later today he will give us all the finger he gave Hillary and McCain.

    • Diana L. C.

I am a little miffed about the choice of dogs, too. We have family members who have had several like this dog, and they ARE great dogs. I get a little upset that they didn’t do as promised and get a shelter dog. I wrote my HSUS rep that I had been unhappy about their endorsement of O (which was really a slam against Palin). I didn’t like its getting itself involved in politics, and I know they got many complaints. There is surely at least one dog in a shelter who would not cause problems with the daughter’s allergies.

It’s his hobnobbing with the Kennedys that got him this dog.

So, again, he was just playing politics with his early promise about getting a rescued dog.

      • Portia Elizabeth

Are you kidding? The HSUS endorsed BO? If that’s true they’ll never get another dime from me.

        • Lyn

          https://community.hsus.org/humane/notice-description.tcl?newsletter_id=27497157

While we’ve endorsed hundreds of congressional candidates for election, both Democrats and Republicans, we’ve never before endorsed a presidential candidate. We have members on the left, in the center, and on the right, and we knew it could be controversial to choose either party’s candidate for the top office in the nation. But in an era of sweeping presidential power, we must weigh in on this most important political race in the country. Standing on the sidelines is no longer an option for us.

I’m proud to announce today that the HSLF board of directors — which is comprised of both Democrats and Republicans — has voted unanimously to endorse Barack Obama for President. The Obama-Biden ticket is the better choice on animal protection, and we urge all voters who care about the humane treatment of animals, no matter what their party affiliation, to vote for them.

          • I’mFedUp

Okay, well there go my donations to the HSUS for life. I can’t believe they did that. It’s McCain that has the house FULL of pets, and full of pets the McCains rescued. Screw the HSUS.

          • Portia Elizabeth

Lyn — thank you so much for this! I can’t tell you how disappointed I am. I have given so generously to them over the years. But that’s about to change. The next time I get a beg letter I will be sure to respond by pointing out to them that they should look to their Prez for any future help.

      • Boxer Mum 06

I think they ‘rescued’ this dog as an arrangement with the Kennedys that after the Obamas head back to Chicago, Bo will go live with the Kennedys with his littermate that Kennedy has. There are no coincidences with this fraud.

Although, I will say Malia seems to really love the dog. I read somewhere that one of the reporters asked her about her dog and she said he was perfect and she loved him. That made me smile. First time in my adult life, the Obamas made me smile :)

        • http://noquarter foxyladi14

          R.O.F.M.A.O….

  • Boxer Mum 06

If ACORN isn’t there, he won’t know anything about it. It’s just another distraction to him, you know he has more pressing issues at hand. Don’t forget today is Wednesday.. otherwise known as party night at the White House. Guess Bo will be the guest of honor tonight.

    • I’mFedUp

Regarding those parties, and the $500,000 pizza party…when do the “progs” get pissed that he is living large on their dime, when they are having financial down turns? This is outrageous.

      • beachnan

I’m Fed Up, where did you read that the pizza party cost $500,000? I need that info, so I can pass it along to a couple of people who are still on the fence concerning Obama. This would definitely put them in a different frame of mind concerning BO.

  • http://ezinearticles.com/?Three-Basic-Parenting-Styles&id=744499 Northwest rain

How about a unified one finger salute to 0zero??

Since he is incapible of telling the truth — EVER — he probably does know about the teaparties — and since HE isn’t the center of attention — he dismisses them.

He will be taking names and making his lists! That’s how narcissists like 0zero act when in “power”.

    • I’mFedUp

LOL…I think I am going to add “Buck Ofama” to my sign today.

      • http://noquarterusa.net/ SusanUnPC

That’s pretty darn clever and funny.

        • Eastan

When WVU plays Pitt at WVU the students use lime to write Puck Fitt on the hilltop by the football stadium. The TV crews can’t resist. They always sneak in one shot. So do it, IFU!

      • Marco Duato

I think I am going to add “Buck Ofama” to my sign today.

That is the most, brilliant, witty bon mot I have ever witnessed in my days. “Buck Ofama”! Ha hah hah hah hah!!!

Just stop it! My sides hurt! Oh, man, that’s too much. Whew, gotta catch my breath here. Sides pretty sore now. There, I calmed down.

Oh, hah hah hah, no, I just read it AGAIN, and it’s even FUNNIER the second time around!!! And so CLEVER!!! Oh, I can’t breathe! Ha ha ha hah hah hah! I better lay down. Think about accounting, or TAXES, or something boring like that. Anything but think about that amazing joke…Oh, oh, gosh, ha hah hah hah hah!!!

        • I’mFedUp

You really are embarrassing yourself troll. How pitiful you are.

  • Rob G in Chicago

If anyone has a few tea bags left over, feel free to send them to the nation’s banks and credit card issuers who have taken the taxpayers’ money, thank you very much, and said to even their timely paying customers, “F**K you very much.. here are some sky-high interest rates and penalty charges for you.”

  • barry bums a ciggie

Yeah, it’s kinda like he’s unaware that Rev. Wrong said all those hateful things in his church or Ayers being an unrepentant terrorist. That’s barry’s shtick, anything negative about him or what he does, he pleads ignorance.

  • donjo

He’s been clueless about the rest of the world as long as he’s been alive. Too self-absorbed; too busy continuously campaigning; too little curiosity, a la Chimpy. He just doesn’t know anything about anything as he’s lived his entire life in this little compartmentalized social cubicle.

But he has a great smile he can turn on in the flash of a camera.

  • Docelder

Poor guy… just probably needs a vacation.

    • candymarl

How about he vacations his way right out the WH and back to Chicago? From there he can just screw over the locals. As he did with the Rezko deal.

      • candymarl

        that’s “out of the WH”.

    • http://noquarter foxyladi14

      it,s back to hi.time

  • FDRdem

Obama knows about the protests. He just doesn’t want to answer any questions about it so he’ll just give the standard “I didn’t know” response. He’s nearly as shielded and ignorant as Bush was.

    • kato

Exactly. Anyone who thinks/believes he doesn’t know about this is being a bit naive. He doesn’t want to know about it, therefore he doesn’t have to answer to it…it just didn’t happen.

Enough of his followers are so clueless, or also choose to be clueless, they simply won’t care or will act like it’s no big deal. It won’t get attention until it goes on for awhile and gets so big they can’t speak it away.

  • politicalidentitycrisis

Oh, he knows. Count on it. Besides, how would the White House know to report he doesn’t know unless they asked him? Did it go like this?

News Reporter to Gibbs: Does the President know about the tea parties?

Gibbs(as usual, making crap up as he goes): No. The President has no idea.
    Later…

Gibbs to Obama: Dude, have you heard anything about some tea parties?

Obama: You mean the party tonight? No, no tea that I know of.

Gibbs: No, I think it’s some protest thing. angry Americans.

Obama: Yes, Americans are very arrogant. It doesn’t surprise me they’re angry, too. Well, whatever. I’ve got a party to prepare for and a photo op with Bo. Let me know if it’s any big deal or we have to bail out the tea makers.

Gibbs: Will do, Barack. See ya at the party!

so now he knows because he was asked.

    • candymarl

This was just more political BS and CYA. Being the most smartest, brillantest, Prez evah how did he miss it? He knew enough, about the public resistance to his spending, to send his minions out to try to gather support for his spending bills.

The Tea Parties? TOTUS didn’t tell him. Poor baby.

      • politicalidentitycrisis

They had to know if you read the article on Brett Bair’s show on FOX here on NQ yesterday. PER the article, Rahm says they watch FOX everyday. You have to know if you tune into FOX.

  • xis

    Non-Partisan?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    • I’mFedUp

Yes, Non-Partisan, Troll. All of the people I am going to MY Tea Party with today are DEMOCRATS. All of them. They are also the ones who were involved with the petition drive for Hillary, etc. Care to STFU troll?

      • xis

        LOL you’re a funny guy.

It’s a bunch of anti-Americans who don’t like paying taxes.

Go whine some more. Or better yet, go teabag eachother.

I had my teaparty already. It was called November 4th.

        AMERICA RULES

        • I’mFedUp

Oh my God…your immature little baby “tea bagging” post? ROFLMAO. Get lost you loser. America does rule…and thank God we can get rid of your kind sooner than later.

          • xis

And what, exactly does that mean.

And you wonder why DHS is issuing reports on the emergence of right-wing extremism.

            • I’mFedUp

It means that you moonbats will be out of Congress and the White House soon, dimbulb. Duh. Nice try on that DHS nonsense. You criminals will be packing up in shame soon.

Hahahhahahahhahha…You are the one that doesn’t “get” what a democracy is you putz. A democracy isn’t where you “tax people without representation.” Never mind. The concept is bigger than your pea brain. I won’t be responding to you any longer. I need to interact with those who can intelligently participate. And the troll volume this week has been outrageous. Scared for the Stoner in Chief? You should be. Seen the ratings dropping? ROFLMAO.

                  • Portia Elizabeth

Where DO you get your ideas? I’ve been a Dem probably longer than you’ve been alive. I formerly was quite active as a Dem. That all changed May 31st of last year. *ahem* I remain a Dem in the hopes that one day I will get my party back. You know, the party that was for the geberal welfare of citizens. In the meantime, I will be protesting the outrageous and egregious acts of our government along with thousands of other patriots today.

                    • Portia Elizabeth

                      meant for xis

        • barry bums a ciggie

Anti-American would be your guy’s pick Tim “I couldn’t figure out my Turbo Tax” Geithner and Tom “oops, I forgot to mention this as my revenue” Daschle. If you think this is about just taxes, then you need to get out of that basement a little more than once a year.

America does rule, and that is why Americans are out in force to say HELL NO! to this crazy spending.

          • xis

Like the HUGE group in Boston?

            You know, like 150 people

            OH NO

            • Portia Elizabeth

              Surprise!
Some people have jobs that require their attendance.

              • I’mFedUp

Portia…Brain dead won’t understand that. Blogging for the Fraud IS his “job.”

                • Portia Elizabeth

                  LOL!

            • Athena the Warrior

Like the 4-5,000 who showed up at the Chicago Tea Party, many who took time off from work to be there. The people were patriotic Americans of all stripes who are fed up with the damage being done by the Fraud and his administration.

Great turnout, lots of positive lets-take-our-country-back energy.

              • I’mFedUp

Right on! This is just the beginning of the people of this country taking our beloved America back from the Anti-America scum.

              • PamFlorida

Thousands showed up in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. according to my obot daughter, who was taking photos for her university newspaper. She reported that it was non-partisan, peaceful, and about runaway govn’t spending and the taxes that will be needed to pay for it all.

                • I’mFedUp

That’s great. I really think people are surprised about the non-partisan thing. Despite the Obama spin junkie liars, there’s no way that the MSM will get away with saying it was a bunch of violent right wingers. It was clearly a bunch of America loving patriots who didn’t give a damn about party today. I am so proud of my fellow Americans who are fighting for our country. I just decided my favorite sign of the day was Obama – Commander in Thief.

                    Hello Fed Up,

Tonight was a tremendous success at the tea party in downtown Seattle.
Everybody was taking pictures of my sign and an NQ blogger who has her own site came up to me and asked if I was Seattle Moss.
Puget Sound gal took many pictures and will make a U-tube of the event to put on her blog.
I look forward to sharing this with all of you.

                  • Docelder

I saw a couple things that were more funny than the other… I think the best for me was an older man wearing a t-shirt that read… “Obama ain’t my mama”.

                  • Senneth

I dropped by my local tea party in thebeautiful downtown area in front of our court house. About 200 people there. Carried a sign that said, “get your fingers out of my wallet” and talked to numerous people. Lots of people honking and waving. Dems, Repubs, Indies, etc. All of us joined together to show our patriotism and that we love this country.

                    • I’mFedUp

Hey Seattle…Can’t wait to see you in all your glory with your sign! Was it the pitchfork sign? You kill me.

It was a great day for all of us. And how American to have all of this non-partisan bonding and sharing of our love of country. I’m really happy you all had a good time. I thought ole Lady Liberty was a gonner. Good to know she’s still there.

        • Obama: Dubya II Electric Boogaloo

Hey asshat, you can always submit an updated W-4 to your payroll department to have maximum and additional taxes taken out of your check. In fact, I would make it mandatory that all Obamabots do such a thing, as paying high taxes means you’re a great american.

        • Newly Independent

It’s a bunch of anti-Americans who don’t like paying taxes.

          Bull.

They’re millions of angry, patriotic Americans who are refusing to allow elite crooks like Obama rob them blind & steal their tax dollars to support rich Wall Street crooks.

The new American Revolution has begun.

          Get used to it.

          • I’mFedUp

The new American Revolution has begun.

            Hell YEAH!

          • Anna

Well, I don’t like paying taxes. Do you? Does anyone?

        • Marco Duato

I had my teaparty already. It was called November 4th.

          Amen to that!

  • chris from Chicago

What is everyone fussing about anyways?

*He bowed in front of our eyes, they told us we were wrong.
*Now, there are tea parties AKA tax demonstrations all over the country, but he doesn’t know.
*He has no birth certificate, so they made one up and posted it on line and voila! They had a birth certificate.
    etc. etc. etc.

As I heard some pundit say on air a few days ago…
The masses [that's us] are asses [that's also us]
They have no regard for you or me or Joe Blow down the block..shame on those who fall for this crap and buy into it….

yes! he does know about the tea parties..and I bet President Pantywaist is fretting, and if he is not…he should be!

  • IndieDogg

Gee, now revolutionaries are RIGHT wing? Standing up to your government in the name of INDIVIDUAL rights is a RIGHT wing movement?

Pardon the confusion but it reminds me of moving from the Right Coast to the Left Coast. All of a sudden, the ocean’s on the wrong side.

But, that was just geography, eventually sorted out.

This is about the future of this “grand experiment” called America.

    Wait….

What if we used Caffeine-Free Herbal Raspberry Saffron Green Tea hand harvested by monks on a mountaintop in Tibet? And threw that in the harbor?

Would that make the tea parties OK with all the “wingers” out there?

    No. I didn’t think so.

    • xis

“Standing up to your government in the name of INDIVIDUAL rights is a RIGHT wing movement?”

Yea, it’s always been. Right-wing has always been equivalent with pro individual rights, anti-Government.

How they’ve been able to label Democrats as Anti-American is a true sign of their success over the past few decades.

      Well, fun’s over guys.

      Sorry.

Get used to it (a line I heard plenty over the past 10 years from Republican friends).

  • Yeah Right

Who does Obama thinks he’s fooling??! He is VERY aware of what’s going on and is very concerned about!!!!!

Right now he and his cronies are thinking of a way to counter and try to destroy the credibility of the protests!

    • xis

Oh no, a few thousand bitter extremists don’t like paying taxes?

OK, well the next time you have an emergency that requires police or firemen, you can figure it out yourself.

Oh, and your troops say thanks as well.

      • I’mFedUp

Hey, troll, get a life. And while you are blogging in mommy’s basement…look this up…CONSTITUTION…it’s worth a read freak.

                • Marco Duato

But he just quoted you Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Your only response to that is “LOSER” and “Obutt”? Surely you can do better than that.

                  • I’mFedUp

Like I said, Marco, when we get an intelligent Bot, I’ll answer. If you guys are too stupid to know what people are protesting. I bet your ignorant ass didn’t read the “pork bill” did you? Hell no. It’s pathetic. Period. And we’re not paying for it. Move along Obutt.

  • xis

Are you all seriously unaware of the meaning of teabagging?

    David Shuster sure knows

    LMAO

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELy61zkZHO0

    • candymarl

I know what tea bagging is. So because David Shuster knows that negates the right, not the privilege, but right of the people to protest.

      How sophomoric.

      • xis

Nope, but it also means that we get to make fun of you for choosing an absurdly easy to make fun of name for your little protests.

        • Lyn

you know like all thru the primaries and then the GE, all of a suddent you see the same phrase being used over and over by CNN, MSNBC and the bots, We get it, it’s your clever talking point. I guess the English made fun of the origonal Tea Parties too. Funny thing is The only sites I read are Dem sites that supported Hillary and saw thru the conman known as Obama or is it Barry S? But of course anyone who speaks out against spending Trillions of dollars we don’t have or anything else that Obama, Reid and Pelosi dream up to make their friends and family richer, meust be Repubilcans, it’s a shame 1/2 the Dems forgot what our Country was founded on an doesn’t find the Consitution a “flawed document”

I’ll never understand IF the bots don’t like it here why they come every day, I sure don’t want to read the garbage at Huffo or Kos.

        • Arabella Trefoil

Mom ran out of Hot Pockets again, huh?

What do you mean “we get to”? How old are you …twelve?

          • I’mFedUp

Mom ran out of Hot Pockets again, huh?

            LMAO…Or the Totino’s Pizza Rolls.

        • http://deleted Buzz Latte

Ah it devolved to teabagging. Well, bot, there’s no credibility there.

You just licked your own case. No pun remotely intended.

        • Katmoon

So of course you will not mind, our euphemisms for your leader, not a problem from you about this ever again right? Since you have just drawn a silly little line about name calling: no problem open season. No crying foul or claims of bigotry, ahh no

Nope, but it also means that we get to make fun of you for choosing an absurdly easy to make fun of name for your little protests.

Which then in turn means it is aok to make fun of your skinny little leader with the “funny” name. I mean he did choose Obama over Sotero, correct?

          ahemm

        • kato

xis, It is people like you who are helping to flame the emotions of people who love our country/love our constitution/love what and how our country became so great. It is people like you that caused and gave us the power to revolt the first time.

          Please keep posting. Please.

    • politicalidentitycrisis

I believe David Shyster would know the meaning of teabaggin’. Good for him. Getting a little will keep him calm when the right wing protesters drag the Government and MSM out of their cushy offices!

    • Angel

Are you SERIOUSLY unaware of how pathetically stupid and immature you have shown yourself to be with this post? Probably not, you poor little guy.

You sound like a pre-teen boy who’s caught the wave on the kewlest new smackdown and using it ad nauseum to show your friends just how you are. Did you think you pwnd us with that ‘teabaggin’ comment little boy?

When you get to high school, maybe that peach fuzz above your lip will start to turn into real hair so you at least give the illusion of beginning maturity.

Til then, why don’t you go back to your video games and let the adults continue their very important conversation.

    • Portia Elizabeth

So tell us, which one are you?
      Beavis or Butthead?

      • I’mFedUp

LMAO Portia…they come out in teams of two to really “put the heat on.” I don’t get it…no one listens to their crap so what’s the point of sending these morons out here?

    • obamaphobe

That tells me a little something about David Shuster.

  • candymarl

Don’t forget that the Civil Rights marches and protests continued under JFK and LBJ both Democrats.

But now? Suddenly all protests are “right wing”. Gimme a break.

    • xis

Who said that? Anti-tax demonstrations, on the other hand, are and always have been right-wing.

Like anti-war demonstrations are generally left wing.

      • candymarl

I am a life-long Democrat. Many Democrats, Independents, and Republicans are upset about the the country’s economic situation. Why are we upset? Because we are Americans first.

When you eliminate certain tax deductions it will raise your taxes. I’ve taken classes from the IRS.

The IRS doesn’t care if you’re right or left wing they’ll come after you. I know. I lived it. So did others if you watched the Senate hearings in the 90′s.

Obama is not only keeping but expanding many of the Bush neocon policies. Is he a right winger too?

      • I’mFedUp

Give it a rest, troll. After your milk and cookies, and your afternoon nap, maybe you can curl up with your binky and read the Constitution.

      • http://firefox AnnieCollier

That’s right. The Left doesn’t do anti-tax demonstrations, they just don’t bother paying them.

I did suggest to a friend of mine the other day (she’s behind in her taxes) that she should remedy all that tax stuff by applying for a cabinet post with BO. Then she said she was making an arrangement with the IRS to pay them…oh, well. Most of those jerk offs at least wait until they get the job before they pay.

      • kato

Sweetie, if you’re so disposed to paying taxes why don’t you just volunteer 90% of your salary (if you have one). But you won’t will you? You enjoy living off the rest of us. Think about it troll.

Give an honest answer. Why won’t you volunteer 90% of your pay to taxes?

        • politicalidentitycrisis

I think 99% would be even better. It would be cool, just like that song…what was it again…um…oh, yes…99 taxes and a bitch ain’t one…something like that anyway.

I guess obama will now create a job for one of his flunky friends and put them in charge of picking up ob’s shit around the white house grounds.

Was Obama unaware that his and congress’s out of control spending wouldn’t have a reaction? Right! (eyes rolling):

    http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/04/unreal-obama-preaches-biblenomics-says.html

When we hear the numbers of Americans attending these Tea Parties, remember that the numbers are actually much higher considering all the people who can’t get away from work and other obligations but would like to be there. Sooner or later, it will be a force that the politicians will have to face up to. WE THE PEOPLE!

  • IndieDogg

A common tactic, overstate the obvious, misstate your opponent’s position, then refute it with your pea shooter. By making the other side appear ridiculous (at least in theory), your arguments, which have little force of their own, can knock down the straw man you, yourself, set up.

See, e.g., BHO’s statement in defense of his opening the floodgates to try to drown the evil recession in US dollars, “There are those who suggest we should do nothing.” Well, not really.

So, to some of the comments above. Citing the taxing authority of the US from the Constitution (who has the Constitution in their mother’s basement — I admit, that’s impressive)? Uh, gee. Yes, the government has taxing authority. Duh.

Would you suggest that means the government can and, more relevantly, SHOULD raise the tax rate across the board to 98% for all Americans? Well, of course you wouldn’t. See how much fun it is to apply the “tactic” to yourself?

Same with deficits. Oh, so running an occasional deficit can be okay according to many “leading” economists? Alright. Accepting that arguendo, does that mean deficits are good? All deficits? The bigger the deficit, the more economically sound? See how this goes, fun, huh.

The RIGHT wing (I’d suggest, in the TEA party case, it’s more RIGHT than wing) is anti-government? Does that mean that Republicans, assuming we can agree that R’s are at least somewhat to the right of D’s, believe government should be abolished and we should all be left to our own devices with a hearty back slap and a parting “good luck out there?” See, fun again.

No on all of these (though there are apparently some in the current administration, including it’s leader, who actually do buy the economic fallacy that deficits are the key to economic health).

We’re talking about degree. We’re (at least trying) to talk about reasonableness. We’re talking about limits on government so that it does what it’s good at (a limited list, yes) and shows some restraint in areas where it sucks, including micro-managing the lives of its citizens.

Yes, live within your means. Know your limits. Extend when needed but, otherwise, restrain yourself. Do not tax and spend this tottering empire into oblivion.

Chinese is a very difficult language to learn.

Many of us apparently have enough difficulty learning English.

BTW, anyone who suggests that revolutionaries are all right wingers did not live in the 60′s. Or, for that matter, the 10′s, 20′s, 30′s, 40′s or 50′s.

    • Marco Duato

An excellent point, which you then unfortunately mimic yourself:

BTW, anyone who suggests that revolutionaries are all right wingers did not live in the 60’s. Or, for that matter, the 10’s, 20’s, 30’s, 40’s or 50’s.

Who has suggested “that revolutionaries are all right wingers”? Seems like just another straw man of your own…

  • Marco Duato

He doesn’t even know they are happening?

Yes, the leader of the free world may actually have so much on his plate, he doesn’t have time to focus on the nationwide tea-bagging. What a shock.

    • jjsmoof

      fresh batch of argula?

    • I’mFedUp

Yeah, really, Marco…he’s got the big White House Party tonight…and the new White House Doggy to show off, and maybe he’s worried about flying in another pizza chef tonight for some $500,000 pizza for his friends…then maybe he’s thinking about his next vacation, smoking some crack and ciggies, playing some hoops, shooting the shit with Stevie and Jayz…what a busy guy he is! No wonder he can’t pay attention to nonsense like pirates and irate Americans.

      • Marco Duato

No wonder he can’t pay attention to nonsense like pirates and irate Americans.

(could one of I’m Fed Up’s friends at No Quarter pull them aside and whisper in their ear that Obama had Captain Phillips successfully rescued, and his captors killed? i would tell them myself, but i don’t think they’d believe it coming from me. thanks in advance)

        • Seattle Moss

          Hey Marco..
here is what you said to me yesterday

Really? You’re departing society to deprive it of your unique importance to its very survival? Wow, I’d love to be a fly on the wall in your palace of Galtian wisdom!

What is my unique importance I serve…

that I have many folks that depend on me for their jobs and livelihoods.

Or is it that you just want to pick my pockets and enact a punishment Carbon tax on the amount of energy generated in my industrial production.

          • Marco Duato

Look, yesterday you ended a comment with “Going Galt!”.

Ok, so, ARE YOU? Are you going to ditch your business and deprive society of your unique importance to its survival? Are you going to bite the bullet, or just whine about taxes?

Have the courage of your convictions! Go for it!!!

            • Seattle Moss

              Marco,
Considering I’m totally vested in my operation and care about all my workers and the thousand companies I represent I guess I’ll stick around because there is no escape anywhere in the world from this calamity.
Besides I’m a fighter and leader in my community and I see opportunity to be the voice of industry, business, liberty and freedom.
Going Galt is just a rallying cry just like my pitchforks.
Here is what YOU can expect…

My raw material suppliers use the most energy to refine and produce high quality specialty resins which under the carbon tax will be passed on to my company.
Include the other vendors that supply me ink, boxes and tape and you have price increases also do to the carbon tax.
I will be hit from all sides.
Then you factor in carbon taxes for my business plus extra regulations to produce.

My projection is a quadrupling of my prices to producers and manufacturers that use my industrial bags. They in turn will have their own increases since they use a lot of energy and will be dealing with their own vendors which will be raising prices do to the carbon tax and regulations.
The final product produced for the consumer will be incredibly high compared to now
Of course if we keep printing money eventually hyper inflation will also be a factor

Other countries will not follow suit with this suicide proposal and will finally wipe out what’s left of American business.

Only then when I’m unable to compete and have to close my doors will I being going Galt.
Italy sounds like a nice place to kick back.

              • Marco Duato

I guess I’ll stick around because there is no escape anywhere in the world from this calamity.

Good to hear you’re sticking around. Good to hear a voice still tethered to reality on this site.

Going Galt is just a rallying cry just like my pitchforks.

That’s kind of a strange rallying cry, considering that you are planning on sticking around. Might as well shout “I’m not making the bed anymore”, and then neatly make the bed.

                • Seattle Moss

Did you read the rest of my post about the effects of the carbon tax.
I should have said..Who is galt?
but if we destroy business like Obama and his Marxist minions intend then I will have no choice and you will have no products.

          • I’mFedUp

Marco probably supplements his government assistance check with the penny a post check he gets from Camp Fraudbama. Of course he wants to pick your pockets, and punish your success.

            • Marco Duato

              “Camp Fraudbama”.

That is so awesomely lame. Thanks for the laugh!

              • I’mFedUp

“Awesomely lame?” What are you going to say next, Junior? “Gnarly, dude?”

                • Marco Duato

What are you going to say next, Junior? “Gnarly, dude?”

No, that’s probably what you would say, old timer…

Stop the lovefest and pay my bills!

                    • Senneth

Oh Donna, I love your last line. I’m so glad you’re here to make me laugh.

                    • Marco Duato

What’s your problem with older people Marno?

Nothing at all against older folks! Old timer thinks “gnarly dude” is what all the hipster kids these days think is the boss lingo, dontcha know! Oh these kids, with their rock n’roll music and mtv music video parties. Party on Wayne!

                    • I’mFedUp

Ummmm…dipshit…you do know I was being facetious, right? It was in response to your “awesomely lame” dumbass comment, which is a little on the old-timer side itself actually.

                  • I’mFedUp

Hahahahhaa…”old timer?” Okay, well, I guess mid-40′s is really, really old to a juvenile imbecile like yourself? Man you guys dig yourselves in deeper and deeper with every immature little baby post.

          • Docelder

All of us carbon based life forms need to take heed of a new CO2 tax. What is next? Taxing the right to take in O2 itself? How about food? It is entirely over-reaching and arrogant as well as repressive. I would imagine Gore and Pelosi in deep belly laughter as they fly over us “little people” in their private luxury jets as they envision us toiling to pay for the very right just to live on their planet. The very gall of the little people.

        • I’mFedUp

Marco…Yeah right. He actually jumped onto the ship, swashbuckler that he is, slayed the pirates and steered the ship to safety. ROFLMAO. He signed a piece of paper put in front of him by people who know WTF they are doing. Period. You morons give him credit for wiping his azz properly, no wonder you give him the credit he doesn’t deserve for the heroics of Phillips and the SEALs.

        • Portia Elizabeth

Marco — I can almost promise you that coming here and trying to join in the discussion is not going to earn you extra bonus points in civics class. You remind me of someone trying desperately to write with a pencil with no lead in it. Do you get the inference?

          • Marco Duato

I can almost promise you that coming here and trying to join in the discussion is not going to earn you extra bonus points in civics class.

Are you saying no one can learn anything about civics from No Quarter? LOL!

            • I’mFedUp

Yes, we are saying that Barko…and we think you could learn some manners, grammar, history lessons, class, dignity and patriotism while here too! No worries, we won’t charge you for it.

            • Portia Elizabeth

I am not saying No One can learn anything. Please read with comprehension. I said you will not earn(not learn) any bonus points in civics class from trying to join in dsicussions.
But since you brought it up, I do think that you will not learn anything here because you are to close-minded to absorb any of the valuable info.

You can lead a bot to culture but you can’t make him think.

              • Senneth

Oh my gawd, Portia Elizabeth, what a line. This is one of the funniest threads I’ve read here in a while. “You can lead a bot to culture, but you can’t make him think.” First prize! Bwaahaaa. This was a good day.

    • Docelder

the leader of the free world

A lot of third world dictators would be offended by that statement… as would the leader of France maybe.

  • jjsmoof

the obodrones are out in force today. the tea parties must have someones attention.

    • I’mFedUp

The Obutts have been out for a week in full force. Starting with the pirate stuff…now the Tea Parties. They must have also looked at the latest Rasmussen Poll…seems the Fraud’s ratings are way down.

      • http://firefox AnnieCollier

Fed Up, we can always tell when to expect the silly trolls can’t we? Sometimes they get sooooo quiet and whenever teleprompter guy is not lookin’ good, they swarm.

I wonder whether that “Private” rather than “Pirate” flub the other day was due to teleprompter typist’s typo or is BO goin’ all dyslectic on us?

        • I’mFedUp

Annie…LOL…yeah, they’re pretty predictable. The Fraud has been f**king up a lot lately, so out they come. Never mind the Tea Parties that he’s ignoring. That “privacy” flub was humiliating, just like every other gaffe by the Stoner in Chief. I’m still laughing at the 60 Minutes “punch drunk” interview. Who the hell could still be supporting this buffoon? How embarrassing he is to America.

          • http://firefox AnnieCollier

You know, when you combine all the stupid stuff he’s done, in the past 3 months even, you have to wonder about anyone still following him. I sometimes think they might be who the U2 song…”stuck in a moment and you can’t get out of it”…was written for.

            • I’mFedUp

Annie…I can’t BELIEVE anyone is still supporting him. Part of it is denial, I am sure. They will never admit how wrong they were. And part of it is desperation. If they had to admit how badly he screwed up the country in 3 short months, and where we are headed because of him, they would off themselves.

    • Portia Elizabeth

I have to say I’m impressed with how efficiently and quickly the Obots can be mobilized to do their master’s bidding. I never really believed in zombies until last year.

      • Senneth

Portia, another winner. Yes I believe in zombies now too.
AGI, thank you for this great article. This has been one of the most fun threads in a while.

  • I’m a Linda too

That confirms the bubble Weary Barry is in and their need to keep his ego falsely inflated so they can do as they wish.

Oh boy. Change you definitely don’t want to believe in.

  • Obama: Dubya II Electric Boogaloo

As a public service I’m providing a link to the 2009 W-4 at the IRS so the Obamabots can INCREASE their tax withholding, so they love paying taxes.

Here’s the deal, the smaller number you claim the more the IRS takes out. You can also specify additional taxes to be taken out as well.

    http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf

    • Portia Elizabeth

It’s like Annie Collier pointed out above. They don’t love paying taxes, so they just don’t pay at all. What they love is seeing other people pay taxes, so they can get a free ride.

      • IndianaDem

Obama supporters don’t pay taxes? Huh. Maybe I should have gone over my federal, state, and county returns again.

    • Hg

There are only Two types of Obamabots, the wealthy and the welfare recipients–neither pay taxes, just like T.Daschle of Dakota and most the citizens of Zewello Louisianna. Oh, I forgot, Daschel pays, except when he forgets to.

      • Portia Elizabeth

Don’t forget Tim Gaithner and K. Sebelius and so on and so on…

  • Lisabona

I was watching the crowd of the Tea Party participants where I saw many AA, who I’m sure, voted for 0. Some time ago, I was writing to a AA blog and told them to be carefull what they are wishing for. Yesterday, when I hear the Educational Dep. are cutting down tuition for inner city children, some of this children who benefited of this kind of tuition are collegs of Malia and Sasha. So, what 0bama cares, NADA. This children, many of them who worked hard, have to go back and accept to attend in a schools, where a High school graduate, read at the 5th grade student level. If this is a CHANGE they hopped for, they get it. And this is just the beginning. YES WE CAN, what a irony. In what category the DHS will put this Tea Party participants, right or left wing terrorists?

    • Docelder

The term “terrorist” as an effigy belongs to Bush II. That word has been struck from the collective vernacular of the population at large and is to be uttered in public no more. The effigy of change is now “extremist”. Please substitute the correct wording in any and all attempts to incite fear and unrest in public discussion. Thank you.

      • http://firefox AnnieCollier

        T

hat word has been struck from the collective vernacular of the population at large

I’m wondering whether it’s been removed from the dictionaries as well?

      • Hg

        Terror occupies the oval office.

    • http://firefox AnnieCollier

I should hope they will become known as American Voter Terrorists. Heads up, Barry. We are the ones who go to the polls.

    • Portia Elizabeth

I’m so sorry to hear that about the school children. The very people who needed help will get shafted. Meanwhile BO continues to eat very expensive pizza.

      • I’mFedUp

Very sad about those school children. I always thought the people who would be most disappointed would be those who he promised he would wave a magic wand and their lives would be perfect overnight. Sigh. And the fact that he has NEVER helped his own, not even in his own district, shows what a classless, arrogant piece of crap he is.

        • Hg

In earlier times something like Obama was known as Carters Little Liver Pills. Before that, there was Hoover. But ol Pat Buchannan finds no distinction between the two. They were and are the s—-s.

maybe we should start referring to 0bamas bow to the king of saudi arabia as “0bama teabagging” the king.maybe send it to anderson , shuster and maddow, since they seem to know so much about it.

$483,000 bucks is what I now owe? Where is my god-damn bailout money? Hey Obama! Gimme a little somethin over here! For the first time in my adult life I am now ashamed of America and living in poverty. What do you mean”he is kinda busy with his new dog”? did he get rid of Michelle? Hey! Come-on! If Obama doesn’t know about OUR TEA PARTIES, then, he probabely doesn’t know how much he owes China either. And all that crap about the financial crap he inherited?—-BS! He stole it, he didn’t inherit a thing. Besides he is most likely an illegal alien an thereby ineligible to inherit anything made in America. My wife told me not to go to any Tea Party because they might get your picture in the paper and that could cause you a lot of trouble. I told her, “yeah, thats what happened to the Jews in Germany a few years back”.

Bo is the Presidential wonder dog. Bo is the best and smartest dog of all time. Bo needs a T.V. show right away… and a statue of Bo the Presidential wonder dog needs to be placed next to Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial. Bo has earned it.

      • Hg

LINCOLN? YOU ARE EXACTLY right! It seems ol Abe started a civil war over states rights and right now B Hussein Obama’s HLS just declared people like Gov Perry a domestic terrorist because he prefers States Rights over Federal Dictatership. Put him on a leash and tie him to the statue before he begins a rerun of honest Abe.

  • CamdenRave

Obama is unaware of the tea parties? Of course, he’s unaware of them. The same way a Kentucky Derby winning horse is unaware of the gnat on its ass.

    • I’mFedUp

Kind of like we’re unaware of the immature little trolls that crawl up our asses all day.

  • Lisabona

My blogging today,I wish, to be the proof of my participation of all 50 States TEA PARTY. To bad, the Tea Party in South Florida was cancelled. I don’t know WHY. Blogging is my way to show solidarity of those Tea Party participants all over America. WE HAVE A VOICE.

  • Lisabona

I can’t believe it. I just saw the Tea Party in Fort Lauderdale. A few days ago they said the party is cancelled. Curious, who could do that and lie.

    • Portia Elizabeth

Somebody who wanted people to stay home?

      • I’mFedUp

        ACORN.

        • Docelder

ACORN thinks taxes are too cheap. When you see their people carrying signs… you just know they are in the group that doesn’t make enough to even pay federal income taxes to begin with.

          • I’mFedUp

I couldn’t believe what I heard today. That now 50% of the country doesn’t pay ANY taxes at ALL. WTF? So the rest of us have to support that? OMG. Wow.

            • Docelder

Yes. I was saying that during the campaign… 95% get a “tax cut” when 50% don’t pay federal tax to begin with. More than a little disingenuous. Now we have Mr. Acorn and Joe Government in charge of Nancy and Harry and their spoiled brat children we call representatives. They are a dysfunctional Jerry Springer family if I ever saw one.

              • I’mFedUp

Well, this isn’t going to last long. This is the early rumblings of some pissed off folks, including me. 50%? Good God. Did you see the sign that Katmoon posted from the Tea Pary?

                P.O.R.K…

Pelosi, Obama, Reid are Killing us with taxes

  • arran

These “tea parties” should continue with all party members participating to demonstrate the weightiness of the protest of the tax$ bailout and high taxes by *Americans”.

    I offer these ideas:

Next time have a (Bill of) “Rights” party and throw out lists with amendments 1 and 4 blackened out.

At another “party”, throw shoes at the WH.

Lastly throw bananas at the “Banana Republic” party.

Obama’s not “out of touch.” He’s lying. Robert Gibbs is lying for him. Obama knows. His whole administration knows. And I hope they’re shaking at the prospect of what they smugly thought were their tactics being used by those in opposition. Obama’s always been a liar. You know that.

    • AOK

      They’re not. Don’t worry.

Obama sat in a church for 20 years and did not know what was going on.He did not know his appointments had tax problems. He does not remember having a sexual affair with larry sinclair. He did not know his aunt was living here illegally, his brother was a child molester or his other brother was living in kenya in a hut.He is a clueless person.I believe he really does not know about the tea party protest.Obama does know about tea bagging though.
