Which explains why MSNBC is at the bottom of the viewer ratings heap. Perhaps they are shooting for the slot just after the Civil Defense Alert channel. Basically, FOX lowered theirs into MSNBC’s mouth long ago. They will never recover so it’s kind of like the guy who has nothing to lose waving his arms and jumping up and down and screaming, looking for a way out.

Joe’s whole shtick was that he was a “regular working guy” — a plumber — who worried that then-Senator Obama’s tax proposals would hurt him. Then it came out that he a) wasn’t a plumber, b) didn’t earn anything close to $250K, and c)was a plant for the McCain campaign. Joe was a failed attempt to appeal to Reagan Democrats.

He remains an uninformed tool of the Right, most recently railing against legislation affecting unions which he finally admitted, angrily, that he hadn’t read.

The ostensibly damning Youtube of then-Senator Obama talking about Joe the Plumber shows Obama dismissively talking about a “plumber” (i.e., McCain’s faux plumber), not about plumbers in general. He isn’t mocking Joe for being a plumber. He’s mocking both Joe and McCain for their sorry charade.

7 out of 10 Obama voters voted FOR Proposition 8, especially since the Black church culture strongly condemns homosexuality.

Obama’s voters helped Prop 8 pass, while his media whores tried to blame the Mormons.

Obama refused to be photographed with the gay mayor of San Francisco, for fear of losing Black votes.

Well said.

Most of the signs I saw the participants carry were commenting that the Democratically-controlled Congress didn’t even READ the stimulus bill before they voted for it. They had no idea how much crap and pork was in it.

That’s a very legitimate complaint from ANY American taxpayer.

Rachel and Keith and AnnaMarie worked very hard to distract Americans from that legitimate point.

And they did it very childishly.

If you think David Axelrod and Mr. Gibbs had nothing to do with that backroom condescension and snotty diminishing of valid points, then you were asleep during the primaries.

It’s how the Obama campaign OPERATED.
