Interesting how he always talks bad about the “people in Washington” and he is one of them

There in lies his curse.

He was quite happy running scams in Chicago with Rezko and assorted Alderman and Emil. My reading leaves to believe with 20 years of spews on pews Obama goes to Washington thinking he can ride herd on the bulls in the senate. He spends time with Lieberman because Lieberman, always the opportunist, saw the freshman candy first.

Then the bulls caught whiff. Obamas’ thinking he can run scams like the ones he ran in Chicago and is punked. This serves to re-enforce the ‘New Nation of Islam’ selfish, arrogant sense of entitlement, antagonizing his childhood loneliness.
After all, the freshman senators are expected to carry water for the bulls of the Senate, but not big bootstraps Obama, he is to good for that.

He refuses to play the “game is fixed” and is lacking any self motivation that does not have something in it for him. Insult, injury and plagerism are only tools his self absorbed warp perception of reality.

Had Obama been able to relieve himself of his own self-loathing, imbued by years of percieved parental neglect, he might have had a chance.
But now?

IMO, the blogger who has the conscience of the REAL AMERICAN, is a PATRIOT in my eyes!!!Why???
Without his/her courage, do you think we will know the dark side of Obama? Should I say, his true color??? SNOB,RUDE,ARROGANT,LIAR TOO!!!!Oh yes, include “elitist” who is pretending to be one of the
“bitter” people, but down inside his brain, he is faking it, just to get votes! This truth would not have been out without this blogger, ’cause, according to CNN & other news, the reporters/media were not allowed in the SF fundraiser that day.No wonder,the “bitter” white people would be toasted.
I pray that people will not be “touched” & “cry” again,when Obama will use his rhetoric prowess, just as what he did after the revelation of his pastor’s “damming America”!The pundits were all “hynotized” by this great speech of the century, they said! That’s really pathetic. How could someone educated enough to attend college not know that it’s cheating. Our troops are dying in Iraq to give those people the right to cast their votes, and yet Americans (with privileges people around the World would die to get) are abusing them. Apparently civics classes have been eliminated in schools now. Thank God I taught my daughters right from wrong, and they listened.

A while ago, most here thought of Obama as a nice guy, just not seasoned to run the country, then opps reality set in and it was discovered he is a conman in a tailored suit and thus we have come to dispise him!

So we do believe in freedom of speech, the word FREEDOM in this case isn’t the freedom to believe in Obama like he demands we do!

Those two truly believe that they are some type of messiahs brought her to save our little souls. They scare me… Some two-bit politician that wrote a book or two is going to tell us how it is. How touching.

I found it so ironic that the religious event on CNN came from “Messiah College”. Obama probably thought it had been named for him.

And did you notice that some people behind him were already nodding their heads when he started with his first few words… all he started to say was “people in small towns….. ” and these people are nodding their heads. Wow.. he’s pretty impressive to attract all those clairvoyants to one event! they didn’t even have to hear him speak to know they agreed with him.

Aeon: Obama has every right to stereotype and demean the people of PA and IN and many other Americans (yes that's free speech) but don't expect those people to elect him President then. He is not "another intellectual doing a sociological comment" He is a politician running for President. Get it? What he said is insulting and he just as he has the right to say it we have the right to judge him for those words; which as he sustains: matter, words matter.

You still don’t get it do you Aeon? The point is not whether or not people are worse off now than 7 years ago (depite Obama trashing he Clinton years) but the fact that he said the people’s bitterness and frustrations make them cling to religion and guns: get it not?
We can intellectualize Reich’s article and anything else in an objective discussion about economics. But this is NOT what Obama said nor what he meant.
