The thing is buddy, nowadays everyone is a criminal - no matter what: " The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. "
It is now "reasonable" to consider anyone and everyone a criminal and threat to whatever the powers that be are protecting at the moment, even if it's just their own law enforcement egos or out of control "mandates" and "dictates" from on high.
I think the conbination of all the domestic wars the government has undeclared and declared, along with the insane media driven frenzy of suspicion on everything and everyone has created a climate where anyone and everyone is a lawbreaker. And let's face it, technically, with the tens or hundreds of thousands of laws standing on the books, everyone IS a lawbreaker nowadays. It's almost to the point that breathing is a fineable global warming pollutant crime, and it may soon some day be, unless the proper fee is paid.
So, everyone is now a suspect, and there really is no chance of them not being able to claim instant and on the spot "reasonable suspicion". They can create it from a thousand diferent excuses, and unless you have a dream team lawyer, you might as well forget it.
I'm not sure how different it ever was, but it's becoming ever clearer how it really is.
Don't ever open your mouth in opposiotn during the search and interrogation etc, that much is clear - that submission is an absolute requirement, because you are outgunned, outmuscled, and they will outlie anything and everything you ever dreamed of, even if you are an expert deciever.

When I came home from Washington May 31,my husband and I both switched our party affiliation to Independent. I don't want to belong to a party that lies, commits caucus fraud, intimidates voters, calls us racist because we differ politically, promotes sexism and mysogony, and on and on. I still don't understand why they went to such lenghts to get Obama in there, and maybe we never will know. How different things would have been if we would have had a fair election, and Hillary as our POTUS.

I can't get that worked up over Ziegler's problems. But, when Steven Anderson was attacked by Arizona state highway patrol and police recently, I got pretty worked up about that.

Here's what the 4th Amendment says about that:

<blockquote>The right of the people to be secure in their <strong>persons</strong>, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.</blockquote>

<strong>Baptist pastor Steven Anderson was beaten and tased repeatedly by police and Arizona highway patrol officers for asserting his rights under the 4th amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The day afterward, he filmed this video describing what happened to him: </strong>

http://www.infowars.com/baptist-pastor-says-he-was-tased-beaten-by-border-patrol/

I got worked up over Cheye Calvo, Berwyn Heights Mayor, whose house was raided by a swat team, which slaughtered his two labs, after the police themselves set them up in a drug sting operation:

<blockquote>When the shooting stopped, two dogs lay dead. A mayor sat in his boxers, hands bound behind his back. His handcuffed mother-in-law was sprawled on the kitchen floor, lying beside the body of one of the family pets that police had killed before her eyes.</blockquote>

http://www.opednews.com/articles/Botched-Raid-in-Maryland-o-by-Doug-Donovan-080809-330.html

That's not the only time innocent people have had their homes invaded, and their pets gunned down, by police--who mistakenly raided the wrong house!

<strong>Obama's refusal to hold the Bush administration responsible for violating the law prohibiting torture gets me pretty worked up. </strong> It is the irony of ironies because <strong>Obama is breaking the law and obstructing justice with his decree that no one will be accountable for violating the law. </strong>

Bruce Fein has remained a stalwart defender of our Constitution no matter which party is in power.

Bruce Fein writes that Obama's decision to release CIA memos without prosecuting Bush administration officials flouts his constitutional duty.

Glenn Greenwald has covered this issue forthrightly:

I hope he gets a big fat financial award from the judge and jury for having his freedom of speech and liberty handcuffed and physically removed from the premises...
Were those guys even real police? Just touching him in an unprovoked manner or without consent is considered assault and battery and the restraint is a violation of 14th amendment rights not to mention false imprisonment and inflicting emotional distress...Cha-ching! I hear the money rolling in!

And Katie Couric being honored? Wasn't she the hostess for the Good Morning America show because Jane Pauley decided to retire? How did she suddenly become a "journalist"?

John Ziegler did nothing that Michael Moore hasn't done before. Go on private property, get thrown off and film it all. Creates a little buzz for your fans and promotes your work. He is the filmmaker of the Palin documentary, after all, and was handing out self-promotion material to the attendees. Publicity stunt is not a crime, though.

A failed radio host who was fired from one station for using the N word; fired from a second for discussing his former girlfriend's private parts.

Trying to help his own career.

And the worst part is when you call them out on their hatred like on Huffington Post they censor your comments.

I've posted several comments to really hateful commentators like John Ridley who equated the tear party attendees as racists, killers, etc ...

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/john-ridley/the-conservatives-dangero_b_188514.html

This guy just practically calls for the complete subjugation of any opposition to Obama.

elise, the definition of "natural born" is a Constitutional issue that the SCOTUS has never really heard. What you're talking about is "citizen" status that was granted by the 14th Amendment. Article 2, Section 1 implies a difference between "citizen" and "natural born citizen." The framer of the 14th Amendment even stated that there was a difference, and that "natural born citizen" was one born of two U.S. citizen parents.

I don't follow those cases anymore because I just don't think SCOTUS is ever going to hear one. I still would love to see Obama's BC and college records made public someday. He's definitely hiding something, as evidenced by his hiring multiple law firms and spending a million bucks to keep them hidden. Apparently, Obama's BC, college records, pass port records are more sensitive than Top Secret CIA records.
