Chairman Zero and Red Hugo have a lot in common- both are arrogant narcissists with a racial victimhood complex… and habitual liars.

Both displayed contempt for democracy or any opposition whatsoever once elected- and are absolutely clueless re. economic manners. And both are out to serve a far-left agenda while dragging a bountiful nation into the abyss.

USA below 3% generally

I’m not certain there is enough oil money or check routing capability in Venezuela to cover 20 to 30 percent inflation for the general populace – it must be a nightmare for the poor.
We know the numbers are lower than is generally true for the lowr economic fifths, but the same calculators show quite a difference – one said to be nearly unbearable in the USA – it ten times as bad in Venezuela.
There is no chance I can believe Chavez was good for the poor, unless someone shows me he issues stimulus checks to every poor person every single month, that are equal to and increasingly greater than social security payments that 10% here live on.
I kinda doubt he does that, but anyone who can prove it to me – why that would be nice to know people aren’t crushed and starving there.
I would think they need a police state there to hold that kind of crushing inflation together.
I sure hope we aren’t headed for that.

I guess lact of actual facts is the problem – I’m not sure how Nancy winds up claiming Chavez has helped the poor when: “… and his ruinous nationalization policy that has wrecked and doomed the Venezuela economy.”
I read a year ago or so how Venezuela was suffering 200% or 400% inflation per year under Chavez. Now there isn’t even enough help for the poor in the USA, let alone the 10% that live on the Social Security retirement to “be helped” when inflation is at 200% for even a single year, let alone 100% or 50%, and I doubt 25%.
The problem I have is trying to figure out what the truth actually is, and the press doesn’t seem to be any help whatsoever for the most part. They obviously have other reasons for not reporting the bery basics that could help me logically decide what is better, Chavezism, or Americanism.
Since the reports are so not on, I’m left to think the press is covering up the horrors, that the few leaks would abviously show.
Noone alive in my general area can begin to fathom or imagine 200 or 400 percent inflation in one year.
I cannot begin to imagine how it would rip the USA apart – there would be riots in the streets.
So some very basic information would be useful, and I have no clue where I can find it online.
If there really was just 200% inflation for even one year in Venezuela, my mind would already be made up – that is absolutely unacceptable, period.

those like julie wouldn’t make the ultimate sacrifice. or even small sacrifices. which, of course, is why the country will rapidly decline if julie and her ilk have power for long.

about a year or so ago, i was still trying to discuss issues logically with trolls like julie. came to realize the futility. they will only learn if they actually have their way with the country and end up living in the nightmare they create. and even then they won’t learn; they’ll just blame us.

the jerk in chief again proves it’s all about him. grateful that ortega didn’t blame HIM – doesn’t the jerk in chief realize that it’s about the U.S., not him, and that he’s supposed to care about us, not just himself? (rhetorical, of course. we all know the jerk in chief only cares about himself. bet he’d dump meechelle and the kids in a flash if it’d help his career).

the when i was three months old thing brings back the i was eight years old when ayers was bombing thing. the jerk in chief loves to point out that bad things happened before he was old enough to participate. funny how he then “forgets” all the bad things that happened because of his actions, because of his inaction, etc.

The tiny country of Venezuela is no threat to the United States.

The U.S. and its huge appetite for drugs and political interference has done more bad than good to many of the countries of central and south american. Read your history.

Chile, Nicaragua, Cuba, etc. etc. etc.

If Venzuelean’s wants to elect a wack job, that is there right. And if Obama wants to try a different route than always using conflict then good on him.

Your comments on praying and loving this country is the pure mindless BS this country has been run on for far to long. You are the problem with this country. Chavez believed Bush sanctioned an assassination attempt and that could be true. Chavez also believes the US was involved in an attempted coup and that is almost certainly true. Another “regime” change which failed. Our policy toward South American has been interference to rid the continent of leftest governments for many decades and we’ve generally failed in the long run. However, it would be a huge mistake to dismiss Chavez as a buffoon or tin horn dictator. He is trying to build an alliance in South America and he is succeeding. The Brazilian presidents recent statement

“this was a crisis that was fostered and boosted by irrational behavior of people that are white, blue-eyed, that before the crisis looked like they knew everything about economics,” he said.

can be taken as proof of Chavez success. His arrogance matches that of Obama and he would like nothing more than to make an American president look the fool. He has made gestures of friendship to American people by selling cheap oil when the prices went up here, but never make the mistake of believing he is not a threat. He is establishing a relationship with Iran and other oil producing countries and there is no doubt this will not be to the advantage of our country in the long run. He has called Obama an idiot and he believes he is dealing with an idiot. I lived among these people for a long time and have a great respect for them. They believe we are naive and it takes a long time to, (how to explain?) understand their circular conversation never reveals the truth about what they really think. If Obama sought out Chavez with the intent of offering friendship, he made a mistake. No matter what is said, he will be regarded by Chavez as weak and foolish and it won’t change his goal to create his coalition to oppose the US.

You know I don’t play favorites, but your patriotism and understanding of the real threats facing this country gives me hope that we have a chance to correct the mistakes of Milhouse Obama.
Because I now think the Iraq war is a Brilliant Strategy for long term protection of western interests you suggested that I put on a hard hat in response to the ignorant haters that are stuck on stupid when it comes to realizing the strategic significance of our military position in Iraq.
I was looking around for that Hard Hat,but since its been 25 years since I was in construction the only hard hat I could find was closer to home. As I look at this hard hat it looks more like one of those German helmets which I’m sure will be more than enough to get the job done.
