Deep thoughts by Barack Handey

Flineo says that his new video was inspired by an important post by MBolack that traces the history of Barack Obama’s true views “about the working-class masses.” I’m reprinting her story here, in full.

Barack’s True Beliefs: Those to Which He “Clings” and “Clings” and “Clings”

Barack Obama outdid himself this week, didn’t he?  He revealed something about his true feelings about the working-class masses whose votes he desperately needs, and perhaps his take on that higher plane he believes he  occupies.   But this isn’t an isolated incident, and it isn’t the first time we’ve been reminded that Barack Obama considers himself to be superior to the rest of us.

Let me remind you of a few other times.

November, 2007
“The nice thing about my candidacy is I don’t have to apologize for a lot of mistakes,” said Obama.
            — Left Coaster

November 2007
“But they also, surprisingly enough, even in rural Iowa, recognize the opportunity to send a signal to the world that, you know, we are not as ingrown, as parochial as you may perceive.”
            — Taylor Marsh and ABC News

November 2007
“One of the great pleasures of running for president is to go to some tiny town in Iowa and you’ve got some guy in overalls and a seahat to say what do you think about the situation in Burma, and you’re thinking that he’s going to ask you about corn, and he asks you about Burma”
            — ABC News and Alegre’s MyDD diary

April, 2007
When Morgan Freeman comes over to greet Obama, the senator begins bowing down both hands in worship. “This guy was president before I was,” says Obama, referring to Freeman’s turn in Deep Impact and, clearly, getting a little ahead of his own bio. Next, a nod to Bruce Almighty: “This guy was God before I was.”
            — Time’s Swampland blog

February 2008
“I am confident I will get her votes if I’m the nominee,” Obama stressed. “It’s not clear she would get the votes I got if she were the nominee.”
            — MSNBC

March, 2008
      The Trouble With Obama’s Arrogance
The freshman senator told reporters in July that he would overcome Senator Clinton’s lead in the polls because “to know me is to love me.” …
A few months later, he said, “Every place is Barack Obama country once Barack Obama’s been there.” …  My goodness, he is even talking in the third person!
            — N.Y. Sun

April, 2008
Last night at a fundraiser in San Francisco, Barack Obama took a question on what he’s looking for in a running mate. “I would like somebody who knows about a bunch of stuff that I’m not as expert on,” he said, and then he was off and running. “I think a lot of people assume that might be some sort of military thing to make me look more Commander-in-Chief-like. Ironically, this is an area–foreign policy is the area where I am probably most confident that I know more and understand the world better than Senator Clinton or Senator McCain.”
           — Huffington Post

And, of course, there are the arrogant, elitist remarks reported last week, and hashed over ever since.  I won’t repeat them here.  But I do have one question to ask.  Am I the only person who thought that earlier remarks in the same speech were also insulting?  See what you think.

“Here’s how it is: in a lot of these communities in big industrial states like Ohio and Pennsylvania, people have been beaten down so long, and they feel so betrayed by government, and when they hear a pitch that is premised on not being cynical about government, then a part of them just doesn’t buy it. And when it’s delivered by — it’s true that when it’s delivered by a 46-year-old black man named Barack Obama (laughter), then that adds another layer of skepticism (laughter).”

Am I the only person out here in the real world who resents being lumped in with a world of people who would be automatically skeptical because he’s black?  Seems to me it is pretty arrogant to make that assumption, and a bit racist, don’t you think?  I don’t believe the masses are racist.

On April 14, 2008, Rasmussen Reports made it very clear that the majority of the American public disagreed with Obama’s statements.

New polling data released this morning shows that 56% of voters nationwide disagree with Obama’s controversial comment that people in small towns “cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” (Rasmussen Reports)

And yet, that day, Obama brushed off the controversy.

According to the LA Times, “Democrat Barack Obama today defended his record of understanding working-class Americans, disparaging the “fake controversies” fanned by his political rivals to suggest that he was an elitist.” (Lynn Sweet, Chicago Sun-Times and L.A. Times)

Doesn’t that strike you as monumentally arrogant?  You, Barack, were in essence telling 56% of the voting public that they are wrong… that they’re so ignorant that they’re being fooled into your opponents’ point of view.

Sorry, Barack… I think you put your foot in the compost again.

SusanUnPC’s Afterword: If you missed it, be sure to catch MBolack’s important article that was linked nationwide, including at the New York Times: “Barack “I-didn’t-know” Obama.”

If every voter could read MBolack’s work, our election worries would be over.

Check out Flineo’s other terrific videos, many of which we have posted here over the past several months.

This is one of my favorite videos by Flineo, because it “nails” Obama’s dependence for both his words and his campaign strategy on David Axelrod. It’s called “The King Maker”:

I apologize for being a little off topic but I’m writing about a post I did a while back where I described how I’ve been receiving mail from the Obama campain regarding a $50 pledge I most definately never made. It looks like a bill and each letter (now 3) has more insistent language that I pay up. I just got a phone call from the Obama campaign demanding the money. I explained that I remember very clearly the first call that generated the letters and stated again I pledged NO money. He said he would check into it because “they don’t want to commit FRAUD”. I agreed that’s what it looked like to me and BO doesn’t need that charge on top of all of his other problems. The caller agreed. I know I’m not alone with this situation. What say you?

  • suskin

    Great clip – wow. Unsettling.

Re off topic – I have heard from others that the Obama fund raising team is very agressive. One man told me he has received repeated agressive calls and despite the fact that he has a grad degree,is a successful businessman (president of a bank), and a die hard HRC volunteer and supporter, he almost caved. He told me he suspects others would cave, even though they support HRC, just to get the calls to stop – especially “little old ladies”.

I’ve seen these BO supporters in action at the caucuses. “Agressive” just deosn’t describe it. It’s enough to get a liberal democrat like me to pledge McCain if BO is the Dem nominee.

I don’t know who these people are, but they’re not democrats.

  • cdo

verminme –I have heard that complaint before from other Hillary supporters. The only conclusion they could come to is that the Obama campaign must have been given Kerry’s donor list.

oh yeah, it was Kerry who gave up my info. I don’t think it was Edwards or Hillary.

Obama campaign, Adolph Hitler, Nazi germany, Obama change, euphoria, blame others, anti semitic, attacks, bullying, economy

    April 16, 2008

I have been comparing the Obama campaign to pre World War II Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler for many weeks. Of course my claims have been dismissed by Obama supporters and many times I have been personally attacked for asking simple questions about Obama. I am a student of history and have read a great deal about the era leading up to the second world war and also during and after. The more I observe and think about it, the closer the parallels are.

The rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party

The economic conditions in Germany after World War I were horrible.

Adolf Hitler honed his oratory skills and became a superb speaker.

Adolf Hitler surrounded himself with thugs and Jew haters.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazis blamed the Jews for their problems.

Adolf Hitler spoke of change and a new Germany.

The people of Germany got caught up in the euphoria of the changes that Hitler promised.

The Nazis burned books to eradicate records and contrary thoughts.

The Nazis bullied Jews and other segments of society.

The Nazis were elitists with talk of the Arayan Race.

Adolf Hitler had many people fooled including many jews that never thought all of that evil could happen in their country. moinansari reminded me of this important point. Thank You!

    The Barack Obama Campaign

The perceived economic conditions are bad. The economic conditions are perfect here compared to post War War I Germany.

Obama worked on his oratory skills. He is a superb speaker with the ability to mesmerize his followers.

Obama has been surrounded by racists, anti semites, criminals and drug users.

Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and others have blamed white people and Jews for their problems.

    Obama constantly speaks of change.

Obama supporters are caught up in the euphoria of the moment and Obama’s promise of change.

Obama has denied having records, not provided records and been extremely evasive when asked to supply records.

Obama supporters have bullied bloggers when questions about Obama or his past are asked. Some of these attacks are clearly orchestrated by the Obama Campaign. Some of these bullies have attacked family members of bloggers.

Obama has recently shown his elitist attitude during his speech in San Francisco. His arrogance parallels Hitler’s Aryan race comments in regard to Obama’s God Like omnipotence in regard to having the answers to problems.

Obama has many people fooled including many Jews that are ignoring all the evil and anti semitism surrounding Obama. Thanks moinansari and God bless you.

The parallels are clear and they are scary!

What is the lesson to be learned?

The German people blindly followed Hitler with his promises of change. Hitler and his cohorts were not scrutinized by enough people. Barack Obama is promising change and many are blindly following in a similar euphoric state. All candidates for the presidency must be questioned and carefully scrutinized.

  • Mr.Murder

Barack disowned a Marine, by name of Rev.Wright.

Disowns him, then mentions after the fact that was military.

Does this contradiction not alarm potential voters?

He’ll sacrifice others for political means, might as well vote for McCain if you want that.

    • jwrjr

Everything he does is for political gain. Does that sound familiar (cough, cough, gwb, cough, cough)?

    • Mechan

I picked up on his comment too last night about Rev. Wright…This guy would give up one of his own, and has, his grandmother…He has no scruples.

On another note…great videos…you really do wonderful work…thanks for the time and energy you put into them…Hillary is lucky to have you on her side..The visuals really put your points across…

  • Nag

And when it’s delivered by — it’s true that when it’s delivered by a 46-year-old black man named Barack Obama (laughter), then that adds another layer of skepticism (laughter).”

Obama sees bigots in every tree, under every bowling ball and behind every Hillary sign in middle America. His staff has NOI members, and Farakhan the racist is an admirer of his. He listened quietly for 20 years as his pastor screached bigotry against Jews and whites. He aspires to black liberation theology which says that blacks are victims of all whites. I completely agree with you Susan that Obama has some racist issues, yes. To say the least.

  • LikeH2O

I have experienced the same thing – getting pledge fulfillment letters in the mail. BUT – I have never donated to Kerry. I held my nose when I voted for him…so how have they gotten my info? Voter registration rolls? Because of my intense dislike (I am being kind here) for BO I recently switched to Independent. I have given to the DNC…

    • jwrjr

That sort of suggests that BO got his donor list from Dean, doesn’t it?

      • Mary

Obama got Kerry’s mailing lists, yes.

But he also got MoveOn.Org’s mailing lists, too.

I just came in from a three-hour hike, listening to XM radio the whole time- skipping from CNN to Air Obama to Fox, all I hear is “we’ll be talking to someone with a Contrarian view of last night’s debate, our next guest believes Senator Obama did much better than the analysts say he did…”

The absolute worst was the black station “The Power,” in which the host said “the media was beating up on Barack AGAIN last night” and “I’ve never seen him look more Presidential.” The jokes write themselves sometimes, don’t they?

Finally- Jake Tapper from ABC goes on Ed Schultz to tell us that Hillary did very well last night, but not well enough to make any difference in the polls. Schultz: “What do the campaigns do in the last few days before the Primary?”

Tapper: “Well, all of Hillary’s ads in PA are negative now.”

Schultz: “And do you expect Senator Obama to do what he’s always done… that is, to stay above the fray and be positive and talk about the core issues Americans are really interested in?’

    Tapper: “Yes I do.”

    And the beat goes on….

I was reading Obama’s blog today and they actually were saying that the “Obama Nation” has to take down ABC and all their affiliates. Anyone who spoke against Obama’s disastrous debate, they had to “take them down”, “show them who is in charge”. It’s really creepy, especially when they add “Hussein” as their middle names as a sign of solidarity.

The real story here is that Barack Obama purports to be ready and willing to meet with dictators of all stripes and sizes within the first year of his presidency with no preconditions, but he doesn’t know if he’d go sit in the stands and represent the United States during Beijing’s opening ceremonies. What?

  • John

The host of “The Power” today took a call bashing Hillary and the media for “trying to lump Obama together with Rev. Wright, Auchi, Rezko, and Louis Farrakhan!”

The host agreed, this was indeed outrageous. I guess it’s kind of like trying to lump Bush in with Dick Cheney and Karl Rove. Totally unfair.

I only got through a few seconds of the Lionel show this morning- up to when he “pointed out” that Obama was “only eight years old!” when Ayers last committed a known act of terrorism. Totally beside the point, of course, but remember this is Air Obamapoligist Radio. Lionel then said “hey, how many people out there can account for all of YOUR friends?”

Good point, Lionel. But you know, I’m willing to take that chance. Feel free to investigate each and every one of my friends and associates I’ve kept close contact with over the last thirty years. I’m willing to stick my neck out and predict that not one of them is A) a Race-Baiting hack, B) a corrupt, vile slumlord, or C) a Terrorist.

    Is Obama?

Guys, this has to end this year. If Obama wins the nomination, we can’t just stay home. We’ll have to support McCain- with money and with votes.

It hurts me to say it, but it’s the truth: Obama and his ilk are dangerous, dangerous people. They must not be allowed to take power if we can prevent it.

The scene of the shrieking lunatic zombies hailing their leader says it all; this is not a campaign, this is a cult. I think we are very near the edge here.

      • MessyMarcy

How the cow ate the cabbage? Why, I declare, workingclassartist, I believe I detect a fellow hick. I hear tell Obama became so distressed at last night’s debate that he at times looked wild as a crib rat.

John, Senator McCain (unless he picks a total ass for vp) will get my vote if Obama is the Dem nominee — but he is not getting one cent from me. I just consider McCain, Obama and Bush pretty much three of a kind. The only difference I can discern is that at least once in his life (when he refused early release as a POW), McCain was willing to set aside self-interest and act for the greater good. Obama and Bush would have in that situation said “how soon can we leave?”

    no he didn’t.

That graph didn’t lie. Hillary reached 100% approval on some of her replies on undecideds. Obama didn’t break 70% that often.
Obama doesn’t do well on debates, because he has to think on his feet — not on projecting an image or identity.

Live blog highlights. She was more assertive, spoke to the topic much better. Obama kept trying to move it from the questions of his associates, Hillary returned back to the questions. Artful of her not to tie too much core policy talk in because he hoped to get an out that by follow up. She kept bringing it back to his judgement, a skill he claimed to command. The people around him make you question that trait in him.

He wanted to leave some point out there just baiting a policy reply and she kept bringing it back to him. That isn’t even counting the NAFTA calls to Canada, Powergate, etc.

  • Northwest rain

He keeps referring to himself in the THIRD PERSON.

This is a very bad sign — red flag type bad sign.

I was listening to the debate — and it was really unsettling to him Obama make this remark about himself.

So Obama is talking about this person called — Obama.
