Obama seems to prefer to subvert, or at least avoid, actual campaigning to voters.

In 1996 he got his start by knocking ALL his opponents off the ballot (including his benefactor, Alice Palmer). In his US Senate race both viable opponents imploded because a newspaper sued to have their divorce records unsealed.

This year he has relied on packing caucuses, taking his own name off the MI ballot, then when offered revotes, blocking them.

Workingclass artist ....

I am sure that when you say CHEESE central you mean Wisconsin?

I say this because there is a new problem with heroin making its way through the middle and yes, even the elementary school kids. They are calling it CHEESE. Kids that age have no idea what heroin is and they will fall for "cheese."

Wanted to put that out there for pursposes of awareness.

I will say though that things were pretty darn dangerous in the mid-70's. There was drug use in the middle school then, too. And I personally knew kids who did heroin at that age. We were raised at the tail end of the 60's and before the "Just Say No" of the 80's.

A list of drugs available to me from approxiimately 1974 through 1982 on a daily basis: weed, mushrooms, THC, cocaine, speed (of the Black Beauty fame), quaaludes (rampant) and a handful of Ely Lilly pill everyone got from their parents or grandparents -- yellow, blue, red and white ... I think the white ones were Dalaudid which were highly prized. The only exception was heroin but that came around eventually.

The weed was cheap at about $15.00 an oz. But the cocaine? Very expensive. It is much cheaper today. So Barry, was he doing cocaine, had to come up with serious dollars for use. Someone giving you a line? Easy. Someone sharing their eight ball? And speaking from experience, nobody does a "line of cocaine." There would be no point as the high wears off soon enough and you crave more.

Ass, Grass, or Gass. Nobody rode for free. I doubt very much anyone with any amount of cocaine was supplying it to Barry for free.

None of this is relevant unless, Barry is still using in some way. I suppose all things are possible.

Many of the people I knew then doing drugs are today outstanding citizens. Many died and never made it out of the 70's. A good few are still struggling with drug abuse and those who are not in jail or still dealing, are using. And some of those "appear" to be upstanding citizens.

I don't a thing about Barry, he wonn't be telling anyone soon. I do think at times watching though, that he is on something besides smoking his own ego.

The Garlic Nosed ones speaks for me!

The DNC refuses to count my vote? Gues what? They can't count on me voting for the DNC in November. There was a time where I may have struggled with the decision but Barry, the DNC and La Pelusa and the gang have helped me feel very good about voting for McCain should Obama be the nominee.

I am an American. I support Hillary Clinton. No one can stop me from speaking my mind. I will vote my conscience.

Dear Open Mind, you had better expand your consciousness quick because Hillary is winning PA by well more than 10% and the delegate win is much more than a few.

If you're still so sure that bo has the nomination, then why is his campaign pressuring Dean to stop Hillary's momentum NOW?

Finally, it is not us mere voters nor Hillary Clinton who is doing a job on Obama. He's done that all by himself, through his history, his lies, his fairy tales and his indignation at being asked questions voters have every right to an answer to.

As for the Republicans, if the DNC is still so foolish as to press on with his nomination, we'll probably just form our own NEW True Democratic Party and still get Hillary in.

Sorry if all this upsets those who long for the simple clarity of fascism or the rage-release of terrorism. Many of us still believe in thinking for ourselves and voting with integrity.

Hello,

Thanks for your comments. I think this question has been asked many times before, but the answer stays the same except those of us opposed to Obama have more reasons to bolster our viewpoint, like this week his lackluster performance in the debate then whining about it then blaming everyone but himself. That's no President acting that way.

Since many of us consider Obama a habitual liar and he refuses or cannot address in a believable and credible way his issues over Wright, Rezko, Auchi, Ayers, etc. many of us will not put our lives in the hands of Obama. Remember, that is what this is all about: who do we want to put our lives in the hands of? There are lots of other reasons, which you should be aware of such as no track record, poor judgment, he can't think on his feet, etc.

Many of us would rather chose the "devil that we know" (McCain) or write in Hillary -- which I am sure you respect as that is our right. As far as doing the Republican's job, I might have to, to help defeat Obama. The USA cannot afford to have an inept President Obama at the helm. Since you claim and I assume this includes you that everyone hates Obama, what are you going to do to stop him from becoming President?

And I disagree he is going to win the nomination. Do you have a crystal ball? Hillary still has plenty of life left in her as she has proven over and over again. In her case, the rumors of her death as a candidate are surely exaggerated.

And I don't hate Obama, nor do I think everyone here hates him. We are fighting for our lives and freedoms and will not stand by and let him and the DNC steal the nomination. Many of us will do everything legally in our power to not let him get elected if he steals the nomination. Once again, that is our right.

I think that sums things up. And Obama and his supporters seem to subscribe to the notion that "the ends justify the means." I hope you will agree that is not so -- stealing a nomination is never justified, as it subverts the democratic process. Obama supporters don't seem to mind subverting the democratic process, but if they manage to get their way, in the future someone else will subvert the process and they might not like those results. Then who will they blame? Probably everyone but themselves, which is their modus operandi.

Related:

Remember, the last time the MSM stood by and allowed something to happen when they knew better, we ended up going to war with Iraq for the second time. Now the MSM is doing something worse, they are actively participating in the subversion of the democratic process. Obama supporters are thus hypocrites, since they claim to be against the war, yet they use the same MSM to help steal the nomination.

I don't find you argument consistent, but you did inspire me to write some thoughts so that's good. :)

Ciao,

And speaking of the Constitution, it appears Obama followers and maybe even the campaign itself is using threats and intimidation to violate people’s Constitutional right to freely associate with whomever they wish.

On a very fundamental level BO shows a very poor understanding of Constitutional Law.

Repealing the AUMF as per Sen Clinton, = convoluted.

Denying Florida and Michigan the right to vote.
Understanding treaty obligations = NAFTA

Not holding hearings as chair on the Foreign Relations Committee.

I am sure somewhere out there is a text version of BO's lectures on 10 years of lecturing on this topic, but has anyone seen them? Does anyone think it is odd these are not available on the INTERNET? Perhaps they are not worthy as a way to look at his underlying understanding and views?

Even so, Kellman says, the DCP's accomplishments under Obama were limited. "Poverty remains. Structural unemployment remains. Bad schools remain," says Kellman, now a Catholic lay minister in Chicago. "We were able to whittle around the edges of it but not successfully change things."

what has changed?

sigh - ridiculous thinking the DNC would push a loser.

Obviously everyone here hates Obama, but he is going to win the nomination so when it happens what are you going to do? Even if Hillary wins Pennsyvania by 10%, that’s only a few more delegates than Obama at the most. Are you going to call McCain a Maverick, which is a crock of you know what, or fight for what’s right? Stop doing the Republican’s job
