Any thoughts on why Scheuer testified before a Congressional committee to the effect of being happy that ex-FBI counterterrorism expert turned WTC security agest John O’Neill was killed? He said in his superblunt style and it went by without comment.

I was attracted to this blog while vetting Scheuer.

I had checked out a copy of “Through Our Enemies’ Eyes, read part of it, determined it was worth a few bucks and ordered a copy of the paperback.

Wow, the second edition was a real door stop. Evidently the book sold so well that he was able to browbeat his editor into including all the superfluous crap which made the original readable. So I decided to find out more about the windbag.

“Scheuer also hated the FBI. Just a couple of years ago Scheuer said that FBI Counter Terrorism Chief John O’Neill and National Security Counter Terrorism Chief Richard Clarke were responsible for 9-11.”

It pisses you off even more when you note that the only way O’Neill got information out of Scheuer’s group was to smuggle the documents out in his pants.

You can also get downright livid when you reflect that John O’Neill is still somewhere under the WTC.

I read that too. I thought that it was sort of pervy, given Scheuwer’s infatuation with bin Laden.

Being a Ron Paul supporter doesn’t help either, but advocating sealing off some Middle Eastern borders and ours with Canada and Mexico…Childish tantrums to go against environmentalists, womens’ rights activists, Jay Leno’s wife…(really, really weird…)…The guy is simply unhinged.

While I differ with many of your, may I say, “strong opinions”…I usually find myself in full agreement…Not this time, however. While I have no doubt, your assessments of your personal acquaintances, are right on target…I strongly disagree with your stance on interrogation methods…while your heart is in the right place…your stance of, enhanced methods should NEVER be used is not mine…I can understand your reasonings…but…this is a time never seen, in our nation….I want to see ALL the evidence…not PrezBo-Zo’s hand selected…and as I close with this last comment, I am certain I am speaking for the MAJORITY of the American people…here is my bottom line.

If ANY attacks were thwarted. If any American lives were saved. If more of the same will be accomplished, yet not using them cost ONE persons lives…then…GIVE ME THE BUCKET.

They pulled that crap on me and wouldn’t back off. One card (AMEX) to whom I didn’t even owe any money, cut me off.

I proceeded to run ALL of them up to the limit (except my Credit Union card) within the Law and then took Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Cost those bastards in excess of $60,000 to try to screw me once for $244…and my car is paid off and Mortgage was/is in good shape.

Cost to me? 40 FICO points.

Hiring no arab language specialists, no arab culture specialists, just soviet specialists in the unit tasked with finding Bin Laden!? That is just astonishing; it’s comical, laughable, chilling.

Last week I read about the travesty of universal default (if you miss a payment on one credit card every card you hold can up your rate in punishment). How did that become ok? No wonder my neighbor had to start going to the food shelves last November and every time I turn on the tv I hear that kid singing about what happens if you default on your credit card.

I wish all Americans would get together and default in unison, in solidarity, it would be patriotic in my opinion. When a universal default law can be passed there is no one, and I mean NO ONE standing up for us.

…and yet to simply investigate torture memos (banking abuses, pork spending,congressional corruption, etc.) and policies now, will destroy our country and cause a civil war?
